    Cahara’s S ending is referenced in termina. You can find the sword he wields in his S ending in the museum….its weirdly implied that every S ending is cannon while A and C-2 is also cannon. I usually head cannon that the Raven mauler grabbed the girl and threw her down to the traces so A could happen while all S endings still happen

    The only thing I think you forgot to mention was that it was likely D'arce that rescued and led Le'garde to the golden throne. With all of the pathes that were taken, you could think of the story as something like this:
    - Each PC enters the dungeon alone. D'arce is the first parties with Cahara (likely when rescued) but is robbed, and finds Le'garde before anyone else. At some point they also end up partying with Nas'hrah.
    - Meanwhile Ragnvaldr, Enki, and Cahara all seek their goals, and in the process find that Le'garde is no longer in the cell. At some point they join a party, Enki seeking enlightenment wanting to sit on the throne himself, Ragnvaldr wanting revenge, and Cahara wanting to claim the bounty, which all align with hunting down Le'garde, but end up being ahead of him to the throne.
    - After encountering Nilvan on a the journey to the throne, Cahara agrees to escort the girl (which may or may not be in the party) and parts ways.
    - Ragnvaldr and Enki make it to the throne first. Enki takes the throne and (since he completed the steps prior in their journey), reject his godhood and ends his questline. Ragnvaldr parts ways to go find Le'garde. *The Enlightenment Ending*
    - Missing Ragnvaldr; D'arce, Le'garde, and Nas'hara make it to the throne, free for the taking. Le'garde ascends, D'arce's ending doesn't matter, but knowing her character enders the void and bows to the Yellow King. Nas'hara doesn't care and leaves when this happens. *The Prophecy Ending*
    - Nas'hara leaves, and either by Cahara destroying the hearts or by himself doing it, faces Gro-Goroth and gets burned. *Charred head Nas'hara*
    - Cahara takes the girl to heart of darkness, where he faces the god of fear and hunger before ultimately perishing. *The God of Fear & Hunger Ending*
    - Ragnvaldr, still searching for Le'garde, ends up collecting all of the remaining souls, befriends Moonless at some point, and either can't find Le'garde and/or realizes he's become a god (perhaps through encountering D'arce) and must play the long con to defeat him through his descendants, leaving the dungeon. *God of Ultra-Violence Ending*
    Everything else plays out the same after, but I feel like this would be the most cannon order of events to some degree because it allows everyone the chance to complete their goals while acting on their character in a timeframe that makes the most sense.
    Good video though, puts a lot of the pieces from the second game I was missing into perspective.

      The main reasons I don't see that to be canonical is D'arce's S ending specifically talks about how the resurrected Le'garde is bloodthirsty and evil, and leaves the dungeons to become a Warlord where D'arce follows by his side as Le'garde unleashes his suffering on the world. This resurrected version of Le'garde also calls himself a God and would have no reason to ascend, much less have a conversation with Nas'hrah about it which the Kaiser references if you meet him as O'saa

    • @DozleZabi
      @DozleZabi 2 месяца назад +7

      @Omni_World but he literally does become a warlord as Kaiser

    • @Omni_World
      @Omni_World  2 месяца назад +16

      @DozleZabi I talk about it in depth in the video, but he isn't inherently violent, quite the opposite as the Yellow King comes from the Void to become the savior of humanity, but due to the God of Fear & Hunger being created, humanity no longer needs him to save them. This causes him to slowly go mad and be called the Yellow King of Madness as he justifies any violent means to get his divine end of saving humanity thus starting the 2nd Great War to get his hands on Prehevil and the Logic Project. August tells us all of this in the second game, and neither him or Nas'hrah talk about him being a ghoul or brought back to life in any way despite knowing all about him and his ascension as a New God

    • @Soulintheshadows
      @Soulintheshadows 2 месяца назад +11

      @@Omni_World i love the response because i know there are still holes in my theory and it still leaves a lot for speculation, this game gives a lot of really interesting ways if thing about character writing and the story telling.
      And you bring up the god of fear and hunger actually brings in another theory i have and started to add more ground too, any time an Ascend god or Old god come in to being, like Allmere or Fear and Hunger there is always another god that forms with them in one way or another.
      L'gard only enters because he believes he is the savor of the world, and looked to ascend to become a god. It wouldn't be to far to say that even once brought back by D'arce, that she'd help him completely or for the sake of power turn him in to a new god. Honestly this is more my head cannon then anything, thinking enough I'm sure there is away to make all s-ending work (expect Cahara maybe tbh, I do have a theory for this one too its just not solid in anyway)

    The whole argument against D'Arce S ending is the one line coming from someone who was just revived. It could very well be that after he talked to the person who revived him that he pulled a Miasma and kept his senses. That's less of a stretch than Darce somehow helping Le Garde ascend before or after Ragnavaldr slaughters everything in his S ending

    That had to be the only funny thing witnessed in that place. Probably why the girl isn't allowed to see it.
    That bug is probably Go-goroth making sure the players and "all of China" knows what he did to Nas'hrah, so he can't lie. I can't believe I share the same soul type.

  • @dezlovecraft5247

    So we can make a list of this, and somehow we gotta make sense of the next events:
    Enki Ankarian, the Dark Priest: S ending, he beace the new Nosramus, probably still alive by Termina timeline and rejected the golden throne.
    Ragnvaldr, the Outlander: S ending,he became the god of utlra violence alongside moonless and went on to hunt demons, as we see in termina there are few of them in Europe, alongside the vatinca inquisition of vampires and wolves... but he must interact with Legardes dead body, isn't it?
    Moonless: Ragnavaldr best girl
    Legarde: became the yellow king, he spent centuries in the green hue as we see that a few minutes could be years or months but time works different there, by the time he came out of there the cruel age had already begun.
    Girl: someone, either D'arce or Cahara, took her to the gauntlet to her ascension.
    So we have two endings open for the canonical route:
    1) D'arce: she died in the 10th floor, left the dungeon after she found Legarde already left the cell, became a new god or she took legarde to the golden throne and went to look after him and died in the green hue
    2) Cahara: he died in the 10th floor, he took legarde to the golden throne and left the dungeon with the crown, became a new god or died in the green hue.
    Hopefully we could get an item that points at an ending of both characters so we have more clues.

    The only S ending not being canon (cahara) isn’t actually true. Since Kaiser is actually the yellow king and the new God version of legarde it’s really fair to say he doesn’t die and didn’t get resurrected by darce. Hear me out. While yes, the game mode in order to get S endings in the first game always had legarde dead. It contradicts what we see in Termina. Legarde isn’t some mad ghoul, he works with the other new Gods on equal footing because he was the LAST new God to be made. We know the little girl canonically becomes the new ascended God of Fear and Hunger but we also know Legarde too becomes a God. It only makes sense both prophecies came true. Now in order for the termina canon to exist one of the main four playable characters in the first game will have to die bringing the little girl through the gauntlet. The only other character who can fit this is darce, stay with me now ✋ WE KNOW for a fact enki and raganvowut exist in the worlds history thanks to termina. The only two playable characters in the first game we don’t know what happens next too is darce and cahara. I truly believe it’s more likely that darce simply missed legarde in the first game. That cahara completed his mission bringing legarde to mahabre and he left after getting his loot. darce being dejected never finding legarde and always being one step behind him unknowingly would run into nilvan the endless and be tasked with bringing the little girl to the gauntlet (assuming she didn’t find and take the little girl from the beginning). I think it fits perfectly in her knightly personality to have helped the little girl after never finding her beloved. So it’s just as viable that she didn’t get her S ending as much as cahara. You just have to imagine as the player character you choose darce and complete ending A after never finding legarde (or finding legarde too late and never finding the resurrection spell). All this while the other characters achieve their S endings. I personally like this option a lot more because cahara deserves a happy ending while darce’s S ending conflicts with termina, cahara’s doesn’t. You just have to ignore the inherent gameplay in Hard mode that starts legarde dead or think cahara after realizing he failed his mission still ran into isiyah and didn’t want to leave empty handed. One last tidbit. Even if you think legarde in termina isn’t a true new god and not the true yellow king but a ghoul. It’s impossible due to in game magic lore reasons for a ghoul to become a new God. It’s also not possible for ghoul legarde to become a new god because legarde’s dialogue about him truly thinking he achieved what he came for at the end of darce S ending.

      I think the S ending is cannon and him taking the girl with him is cannon, but one day he gets a dream from Nilvan who haunted him. Said he and his bloodline would be cursed for eternity because they failed/refuse to bring the girl to the depths.
      After years passed Cahara now older having raised a kid or two, brings the girl who is now brighter and grown into a beautiful young maiden. He only goes through with it after being haunted with the same dream for so many years from Nilvan. Worrying for his family and his next of kins fate. The girl traveling with her adoptive father because she knows that he needs support. Unbeknownst to her of his intentions, he recalls the methods of how to get to the depths. Encountering old corpses that the party has slain now molded and bones. Reaching the Cave dwellers area, they were chased by a two headed mutated crow mauler. Making it to the depths out of desperation, they escaped to the mouth of the depths. Unable to find an exit they realized that they had to have a final showdown with the crow Mauler. After the subsequent battle, the two were victorious. With no ways to leave they could only travel further. When they reached the mountain of corpses, Cahara tells her to be careful as she approaches the ledge. The girl dressed in a beautiful black dress turns to Cahara and gives a bright smile of assurance. Then the scene plays out as expected for ending A.
      -it only makes sense in chronological order if all S endings are cannon.

    On the Silvan request - a point of interest is that Nilvan asks two contradictory things of the player:
    * 1): "Please, I ask of you, just get my child out of here."
    * 2): "Take her to the heart of darkness."
    I could see any character except for Enki choosing to ignore the 2nd part (Enki I could see ignoring the first, any having some magical means of escaping after ascending the girl after his enlightenment). Cahara & Ragnavalder I especially think would have taken the Girl out of the dungeon, refusing to let her stay & suffer any more.

    I believe that all the endings are somewhat canon but the real mystery is how they all are connected. My theory is that every party member met each other at some point, recused the girl and then Le'Garde however when Ragnvaldr decides to take his revenge and kills Le'Garde they split, Rag kills all the monsters, Enki learns of true enlightenment, D'arce goes mad and revives Le'Garde who goes on to become the Yellow King.
    Cahara however, decides at first to get the treasure to support himself and his love but NIlvan convinces him to do otherwise in his dream, tricking him into descending into the final level of the Dungeon and along with Nas'Hrah, they meet Gro'Goroth who acts as a guardian and tests the player, after winning the fight and losing Nas'Hrah because he couldn't keep his mouth shut, The Girl finally begins her apotheosis into the God of Fear and Hunger and Cahara dies, having helped to usher in a new age for humanity.
    Obviously not everything is fully connected and I had to take some liberties in how the story went such as Le'Garde being revived somewhere else than his prison cell but that is the closest way I could thing of a true canon events that happened in Fear and Hunger 1.
    As for 100% Head Canon. I think that D'Arce become a lover of Yellow King Le'Garde before splitting up on very bad terms after realizing that he more or less used her and she's still alive in the modern age as some dictator of some country that the Kaiser(Le'Garde) is fighting against.
    As for Cahara, I feel that his ending was too bleak and that he got resurrected by the God of Fear and Hunger but become a long lived Avatar, being paranoid and hungering for something close to him that fits his character, something similar to his S-Ending but with caveats.

    Regarding D'arce ending C... Yes Le'garde was raised bloodthirsty, but he continued his path in to the void to become a new god, in the ending C, Le'garde rises as a force of good for humanity, but if the real ending of Le'garde is a mix of S ending D'arce and C, then he can be a calculating yet violent individual in order to achive his goal.
    My point is that his time ascending to godhood restored his logic, gave him a goal but his unnatural resurrection also gave him a way of thinking that the methods justify the end.

  • @mladyeli
    @mladyeli 2 месяца назад

    I do believe you could argue that if Ragnavaldr found Legarde's dead body (assuming that Legarde has to be dead at the start for the S endings to come true), he'd have felt like he had failed his mission to get revenge on Legarde. He could have later found out about Legarde's ascension.
    Afterwards he'd have continued to get the different souls to become the God of Ultra-Violence, but have also instructed his descendants on monster slaying and Legarde being the Yellow King (later known as the Kaiser) to hunt him down. This would be the way to finally have his revenge. This would also mean his S ending as a whole would be canon.

    I think the canon endings are as goes.
    Cahara brought the girl to the depths and died while the girl became the god of fear and hunger
    Enki became a god but never truly leaned in to it, only for the enlightenment.
    D'arce found a dead Le'garde and brought him to the throne.
    Ragnavaldr, along with Moonless, became the god of ultra violence by slaying every major monster in the dungeons.

  • @The_toasty.
    @The_toasty. Месяц назад

    I have my own idea for what happened in Funger one I think that Dars was the first want to get into the dungeon and start travel deeper to find Lagarde after she found Lagarde, she tried to take him out of the dungeon, only for him to say that he had unfinished business to do Which caused her to go back in with him where they countered inky, and they traveled to my harbor, where they find that all the new gods were slain by Kahara moonless and Ragnar Valder, and then Lagarde ascended and envy Who had already met Ramas at that point goes after him and dars chased him into the void where she inevitably dies. Yankee he refuses new godhood And becomes enlightened, while Ragnar, older and moons are cleansing the dungeons, Kahara freeze a girl from her cage, and takes her to the god the depths, where he dies, and she is Ascends while moonless and Ragnar Wilder, leave the dungeons

He or Nas'hrah never bring up anything about Le'garde dying and being resurrected which was a lot of evidence for my argument against D'arce's S ending being canonical

    Really great timeline, I mostly agree with it. Just one question: Who do you think brought Nas'rah down to face the Traces of Gro-Goroth in the Gauntlet? I doubt he could have gotten there himself. Also, how do both encounters with the God of Fear and Hunger and with Gro-Goroth happen in the same timeline?

    • @Omni_World
      @Omni_World  2 месяца назад +1

      Thank you! So with Nas'hrah there are a couple caveats: the first is we know he was with Le'garde in human form as the Kaiser references the advice Nas'hrah gave him as he was about to sit on the Golden Throne. The second is that O'saa finds Nas'hrah in what seems to be the Tomb of the Gods in Ma'habre, (all we are told is it is within "ruins of an ancient city" after a digging site which suggests the mines), and O'saa didn't go into the Gauntlet to get Nas'hrah
      From this, I take it to mean Nas'hrah faced the Traces of Gro-goroth somewhere else in the dungeons and facing the Traces within the Gauntlet is more of a gameplay feature for going there without the Girl as the party would have no reason to explore down there until Nilvan asks them to.

    I mean why does the God of Fear and Hunger ending text get taken as the truth but the Yellow King ending text get ignored? I doubt that the benevolent new god would succumb to madness to the point of becoming the WW2 leader of in-game Germany.
    I also think that it makes the most since that Enki and Rag temporarily teamed up so that Rag gets the souls and Enki still gets to touch the throne to reject godhood, which also requires the souls, leaving it empty for vampire Le'Gard to sit on it without opposition, possibly led by the Wizard.

      @@Omni_World actually, I have one crazy theory about connection of endings A and S to Cahara. What IF he first got his S, got back to home with treasures, lived for some time, but he couldn't throw off the memories about the Dungeons, and ONLY after that he found a Girl and brought her to the Gauntlet. OR maybe, despite of the ending, she could spare him? Though I doubt if that would be possible, so I tend to think that, he first found the treasures, got back to home, made money to his family, then returned to DoF&H, found Girl and helped her to ascend. As I remember, Nilvan asked him to bring her to the Gauntlet. What if he met her at first time when he was visiting Ma'Havre while seeking treasures, but ignored her that time? After some time, he remembered her words and felt guilty, so he returned the DoF&H, and [I said it a few times already]. Might it be sound plausible?

    • @pablomattei4380
      @pablomattei4380 2 месяца назад

      @@oppressionsimulatorgotyedi9009 Hey you're welcome! Well this is my hypothesis for why it is pretty possible that some of the contestant cononically dies, first of all in Termina they are in a "Battle Royale" and Per'kele will try to convince characters to kill each other and if some events takes place, it will happen.
      Then you have characters like Pav or Caligula, they can kill 3 or 4 characters if they are not dealt with, otherwise you have to avoid certain areas.
      Theres also Needles (the clown) who will basically kill every playable character in the span of 2 days except the one you're using, that means 7 characters who also are gone. You have to kill him fast and avoid certain scripted places or he kills Tanaka or Marina no matter what.
      Speaking of Tanaka, he has a lot of deaths so just for him you have to do some things and avoid some areas.
      And for last, the possible canonical ending being ending A your main character dies/sacrifices so even if you save every other contestant only 13 will survive.
      As you can read Termina kills a lot of characters, you can save them but if we are looking for canonical purposes there are a lot of chances that someone will die. And yes Fear and Hunger 3 is confirmed so actually when that game comes out we're going to know whats canon.
