I’m staying at Caribbean beach resort in May so I’ve been watching tons of CBR videos. I just wanted to tell you this is THE BEST one that I’ve watched!! You made me so much more excited about my trip. Thank you for making this!
Omg, thank you so much for the kind words! Woo wooo - so happy it was helpful and got you excited for your trip ☺️ We really loved CBR, so much that we’re actually going to be staying there again this year! If you ever have any other questions, feel free to leave a comment or message us on Instagram whenever! Thank you so so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment 🥹
This was the best CBR review we have seen yet, thank you! I had questions about location of bus stops and you answered that and much more. Great overview!
Thank you so much!!! 😊 If you have any other questions that we possibly didn’t answer - let us know & we might be able to help as well! Since recording this tour we have stayed at CBR again for another 12 day trip and have gotten a pretty good feel for the resort. We really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and leaving such a kind comment ☺️
I'm obsessed with this resort, I love staying there! I was just there in May, cant wait to go back. Seeing this video brings back memories. Loved seeing the new rooms since we stayed at an older room that wasn't upgraded yet. Such a dream!
Our trip was in April and we want to go back so badly!!! We really loved the resort too. The new little mermaid rooms were really nice - they are also refurbishing the other standard themed rooms too so soon enough all of CBR should be a bit more updated 😊 Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you enjoyed it. If you have any other questions or are curious about anything else just let us know 😊 Thank you so much for watching!
They aren’t officially listed on the website or technically “available to book” yet, so they can’t say anything or confirm them even if they’re aware lol 🙄 the cat is pretty much out of the bag, so idk why they won’t just put them up on the site! My guess is that they’re still refurbishing some rooms and the section isn’t fully complete yet, so they don’t want too much demand or to overbook before having a completion timeline. BUT if you call, put in requests, and ask at the desk upon check in for the Trinidad section there’s a chance they can help you out and get a mermaid room! We really liked staying there ☺️ Thanks so much for the kind words about the review. If you have any other questions at all just let us know!
Thanks this was a super helpful video to help us get some bearings before outstrip later in the year. It’s our first time coming over from Australia and we’re staying at Caribbean beach for 14 days so excited!
So happy the tour was helpful!!! It really is such a beautiful resort and we had a fantastic 10 day trip there. 14 days sounds like a dream and we hope you love it!!! If you have any other specific questions about the resort that we might be able to answer for you - just let us know! Thanks so much for watching 😊
We are staying here and planning to request trinidad. I see so many people say they don't like the walk from the section but it seems so great to us because of the spyglass grill, bus and skyliner close by.
That basically summarizes our thoughts after staying there 😂 so many people gripe about the walk and the distance from other sections and the main lobby, but we LOVED it and would probably want to stay in Trinidad every time now. The further distance actually made it feel a bit quieter and almost like our own little secluded section - which we liked - but it still felt like a part of the resort and getting to the lobby/Skyliner/buses was super easy when needed. Spyglass grill was awesome - the mojo pork tacos are 👌 and it was so nice and convenient for us to grab drinks there! Lounging out at the pool and grabbing a cocktail from spyglass was a fantastic way to relax during the day and no other sections have an awesome personal little pool bar/restaurant like that unless you’re by the main pool. Banana cabana is awesome too though, we will admit! Overall it was a fantastic stay and we would LOVE to go back to CBR and would probably stay in Trinidad again. If you have any questions ever or wanna know anything else about the resort just let us know and we are more than happy to answer! Thanks so much for watching ☺️
Love that you covered everything from top to bottom, even the freestyle soda machines (although I have to say, I definitely prefer the freestyles to the traditional soda fountains). CBR is, in our opinion, one of the prettiest and best-themed of all the moderates across the Disney resort empire 😍 The Fuentes del Morro Pool is one of our favorites! It's been a long time since we last stayed there, and half the resort amenities were shut down due to COVID at the time. We definitely owe the resort another stay now that things have mostly returned to normal! Your Little Mermaid room was amazing, too. Some of the shelving and storage of the space is definitely a bit more modern than what we had in 2020, and personally I am loving the upgrade! And what a great location right next to Spyglass. That's what we call a 'preferred' room, for sure! Great and very thorough resort tour - glad to see it getting some play in the algorithm! ✨
We definitely like to give a good detailed review! Hopefully the video was able to highlight the important and interesting stuff without being tooooo granular 😜 the Coke freestyle machines are important! That was some key info for us to learn when staying at CBR and saved us so much time and energy when we were getting thirsty! 😂 CBR is gorgeous. We had walked around before while staying at AoA/Pop and using the Skyliner, but it’s s really different experience actually staying there. Although, it’s beautiful to walk through and see regardless of whether you’re staying there or just visiting. We really did love the main pool - we only really got to enjoy it for one day, but spent a few nights at the jacuzzi too which was great! The dining options were solid and we loved the new refurbished rooms. The resort definitely has a lot to offer overall and we had such a positive experience. Being next to Spyglass was clutch and made getting some adult drinks and snacks at any time a breeze. Oh, and those pork tacos from Spyglass are INCREDIBLE. I could eat them daily and never tire. Such an unassuming menu item a bit off the beaten path that is an absolute hidden gem. We think CBR definitely deserves another visit for anyone who hasn’t been in a while. We would love to stay again, try Sebastian’s, and enjoy even more of what the resort has to offer! Thanks so much for watching the video! 😁
This is a great tour! Really appreciate the extra details such as location of the freestyle machines, extra info on the Skyliner etc! We are staying at CBR in August. We have avoided the remote pirate rooms previously, but now the location seems great for the proximity to the Skyliner & having Spyglass grill! We’d love the renovated room as we dislike carpet, did you request this room during online check-in?
Thank you so much! We definitely wanted to make it pretty detailed and cover everything you can expect to find at the resort, along with some of the tips and things we learned from staying there! You really can’t go wrong with any of the sections, but we were pleasant surprised by Trinidad. It is still the FURTHEST from the lobby and main pool, but we ended up not minding much as the walk was beautiful and only about 7-10 minutes when we had to make it. Bus and Skyliner were close, so being a bit more “remote” in Trinidad didn’t really impact transportation at all and was actually quite great! If you have kids that like the little mermaid or an under the sea vibe - the new rooms are really fresh and clean with very fun theming and LOTS of storage space. Barbados and Martinique are the “preferred” sections of the resort since they’re in such close proximity to old port royale and the main pool, but we really think that every section has something unique to offer and there are no “bad” areas of the resort. The little mermaid rooms in Trinidad aren’t the only ones being refurbished without carpet - but the other sections are currently a bit more inconsistent. They’re in the processing of doing updated refurbs for each section, but going piece by piece so you can always request a refurbished room with no carpet in any section, but as always with any requests, there is no guarantee you’ll get it. We had just booked a normal 5th sleeper with water view, but did add in some comments and called to attach some specific requests to our reservation noting that we would prefer Trinidad or Jamaica Building 42 (our top options - we would have loved either) but would have been okay with anywhere at the resort. When we checked in the cast was so nice and accommodating - we mentioned the little mermaid rooms and a grin came across their faces. We were early for check in too (arrived at about noon, check in is at 3) so we fully expected to have to wait for our room to be ready as well and planned to lounge around at the pool or walk around, but the cast member made a couple calls and within 2 minutes was able to deliver us the amazing news that we would not only be staying in one of the Little Mermaid rooms with a Skyliner/water view but also that our room was READY for us. It was such a fantastic experience and we really loved our time staying at the resort. If you have any other questions at all please let us know, or feel free to reach out on Instagram or our socials whenever! Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
@@keepingupindisney This is amazing information, thanks again! I didn’t know that some other sections might have renovated non-carpet rooms. (Not Little mermaid theme I understand). We arrive at the resort by 11 am, I will stop by the front desk and see if we can get one of these. We are booked in the 5th sleeper category.
@@kikky811 so happy to help!!! Hope you have the best trip and love the resort. If you have any other questions at all let us know! We are more than happy to answer or help in any way ☺️
This is such a helpful tour of the resort as a whole. Staying at CBR in January and have requested a Trinidad LM room. Fingers crossed! Couple of questions: 1. How long does the skyliner acutally take to each park once you're on it? 2. How long is the walk from Trinidad to the lobby? I see people complaining but i dont mind a 10 minute walk especially when the resort is so pretty. Thanks, Liam
Thank you so much - we are so glad it was helpful! Hope you have the best stay and get a room in Trinidad! ☺️ 1. The line from the hub to AoA/Pop Century is only about 3-4 minutes, the line from the hub to Hollywood Studios is about 5 minutes, and the line from the hub that spins through the riviera station and heads to Epcot takes about 10-12 minutes when continuously running! 2. The walk from Trinidad to the lobby is about 7-10 minutes depending on your pace! Might be a bit longer (like 12 minutes) if you’re taking in the sights and moving at a very leisurely pace, but I have long legs and a fast pace and could do the walk in about 5 minutes from Trinidad to old port royale! It’s really pretty too and the walk is enjoyable. Thanks so much for watching - if you have any other questions at all just let us know!!!
@@keepingupindisney thanks so much. Really helpful information. I get the sense that the complaints about size of resort/length of walk are more for those with mobility issues or small children. Sounds like a little leg stretch and an easy ride to the park to me 😀
This would have been in April! Something to know about Disney World and Florida in general - it’s most likely going to rain every single day, regardless of the time of year you go. There are short mid day rains almost every day, but typically not as many full rainy days. The rain this day probably lasted about 45 minutes to an hour, which is pretty typical for the quick Florida showers. June is definitely a nice time to go, but it will be getting super hot - so those mid day rain showers to cool things down may be appreciated! 😅 Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Do you think a pack n play could fit in the vanity area of the bathroom with still space to get into the shower/toilet portion of the bathroom as needed?
Yes - it might be a little tight and would reduce space to use the sinks, but yes, you could still get in/out of the toilet and shower section I’m pretty sure! The vanity area was pretty spacious with double sinks.
We had actually just booked a 5th sleeper room at CBR and at the time we booked there was a Chase Disney Visa discount so we got the room for a really great rate - just around $240/night!!! The under the sea rooms are not currently listed anywhere and there is no guarantee of getting them, but what we did was booked the 5th sleeper room and put in requests through the app and by phone for the Trinidad section. When we got there for check in we actually went up to the desk and talked to a cast member as well and requested anything in the Trinidad section if possible and they were able to make it happen! All of the rooms in Trinidad are being rethemed to under the sea, so if you’re able to get a room in that section you’ll get one of the little mermaid ones. Several of the other sections are also being refurbished/have already been refurbished to slightly modernize and make the spaces nicer, but they’re not uniquely themed like the Trinidad section - pretty much standard CBR rooms just touched up and made slightly better! Thanks so much for watching! ☺️ If you have any other questions we would love to help in any way possible!
I think that Aruba is great for the Disney Adults with no kids. I don't think its a good idea to stay in Aruba if you have kids. It's just so far away from the main pool, the lobby and most of the kids activates.
Thanks Beth! I agree that working out any audio issues for our videos would be awesome. We mostly just make them for fun for now, but would love to keep increasing our production value over time once we have the resources and ability to do so 😊 Our goal is to some day live in Florida and be able to share theme parks and fun every day, so we would definitely want to aim for the highest quality videos possible then! Thank you so so much for checking out the video and leaving us a helpful comment 😊 feedback is always appreciated here.
