Disney Princess Sequin Loungefly Backpacks | Rapunzel, Merida, and Snow White | Part 4 - Last Video!
I forgot that they recently added the theme park onto the waterpark. I went to the waterpark as a kid. Oasis in the middle of cornland, really. Finally something to compete with Adventureland? Hope they both stick around for years to come.
We visited this resort on our last trip and loved it. So pretty, and the quick service was great for our family!
Next time you guys come out>Check out Ringmaster's Cabaret inside Grand Music really fun music acrobatics magic show
Truthfully, I think our frequent visits to the Festhaus at Busch Gardens Williamsburg might have burned us out a bit on traditional German food....but I can still appreciate a good Oktoberfest spread! I also think that your food offerings at Six Flags Great America are just better across the board than most of what is offered at our local Six Flags parks. 😉 We have the same Dark Knight Coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure, too; 10/10 on the queue, 5/10 on the ride haha but it's always good for a short wait and a break from whatever weather there might be. I said it on the last video, but I'll say it again - Fright Fest at Great America looks like a ton of fun! Lots of roaming scare actors and most of the major rides still operating. My kind of theme park haunt! 👻 Those nanocoasters are definitely a big thing right now, I think the parkscapes models are trying to seize on some of that momentum - but like you said, kind of a disappointing build process relative to the gold standard. Great vlog, you guys! Thanks for taking us along for (possibly) your last visit of the year! ✨
You two have done more to whet our appetite for Six Flags Great America than any other vlogger or coaster enthusiast(s) out there 😍 Apart from a great coaster lineup and a gorgeous skyline, the landscaping is beautifully done and the themed areas are actually themed areas, not just a building and an arcade! We love it when an amusement park goes the extra mile. When it comes to wing coasters, Fēnix will always take the gold for us - but as it’s not always easy to hop skip over to the Netherlands for a quick ride, we have to make due with what we have here in the US. I think it was a wise move to ditch the Oktoberfest mug haha especially when you know that you’re going to be staying for a run-and-scream style event….but I knew even before you made the move that it was going to cost you some time in the security line. We’ve all made that mistake! It’s nice that Fright Fest is included with your ticket, though. That’s definitely _not_ the case at our local Six Flags parks. Whizzer doesn’t look to me like something that’d be worth more than a few mins’ wait, but as a novelty credit with the spiral lift, it’s something that I’d have to do at least once and something that I’m sure I’d love to stand there looking at for hours on end. Haha, gotta love a good collective of chainsaw punks running amok during a scare event! Looks like the spooky vibes were on point, loved all the roaming scare actors too. Watch out for rogue trashcans, Arie! 😂 Great video guys, thanks for sharing with us!
A birthday, a whole slew of first-time experiences and an _engagement_ - sounds like it was a trip for the books! 😉 I'm glad that you guys got a chance to experience Tom Sawyer Island at least once, and that you were able to stop in at Restaurantosaurus and DINOLAND U.S.A. one last time. It's crazy...and also a little sad...to think how drastically different the Magic and Animal Kingdoms will be the next time we visit. 🥲 On the other hand, that's part of what makes all these Disney vlogs so meaningful. We sort of bottle the magic when we capture these memories for everyone to look back on. It's been super fun following along with all of your trip vlogs and being a (vicarious) part of your special moments together. I wish I'd had the foresight to grab a Dino-Rama ticket stub, too! Sorry we're a bit behind on your videos, but we're working on getting caught up! Glad you all had such a great visit, and congratulations again on your engagement! ✨
Moonshine sour for the win!!🎉
Seriously the best drink in Epcot 🙌
Thanks For Posting.!!!
Of course!!! We love the Volo museum & the Jurassic gardens were pretty awesome 🙌 Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Whats the name of the hotel?
The Stoney Creek Inn located in Galena! We really loved the hotel.
My daughter loves Ricochet, I went on it once with her and I said never again 😅 made me so dizzy.
It’s such a fun ride, but can definitely be dizzying 😵💫
This was the best CBR review we have seen yet, thank you! I had questions about location of bus stops and you answered that and much more. Great overview!
Thank you so much!!! 😊 If you have any other questions that we possibly didn’t answer - let us know & we might be able to help as well! Since recording this tour we have stayed at CBR again for another 12 day trip and have gotten a pretty good feel for the resort. We really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and leaving such a kind comment ☺️
yay love when ppl go to my childhood park used to live in IL and went here all the time <3
It’s our childhood park and we still love going to it 😊 it has changed over the years, but the nostalgia and amazing history behind “Great America” will always remain 🙌 Happy to hear you’ve also made some amazing memories at this fun park! Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment ☺️
Thought she was a moth
She is a moth. A gypsy moth
What time of year was this trip? How long did the rain last? Thinking of going in June.
This would have been in April! Something to know about Disney World and Florida in general - it’s most likely going to rain every single day, regardless of the time of year you go. There are short mid day rains almost every day, but typically not as many full rainy days. The rain this day probably lasted about 45 minutes to an hour, which is pretty typical for the quick Florida showers. June is definitely a nice time to go, but it will be getting super hot - so those mid day rain showers to cool things down may be appreciated! 😅 Thanks for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Did you guys hear that they're also planning to add a spinning coaster and a flying coaster in the coming years? Can you please do a video on it?
We have definitely heard that rumor while it was swirling around in some early park plans & maps that had been seen! I’ll try to do a deep dive and see what more information I could find to a recap. If Lost Island were able to add those unique coasters as well, it would truly be a top destination theme park! We already love it so much
@@keepingupindisney Thank you, I would love to see a video on that.
Lost island needs a family resort between the parks. Other than the casino, they're is no hotels near there. The owners need to buy up as much land between the parks as possible.
That would be amazing if the park could build a resort in the future - it would fit perfectly along with the water park & theme park for an ultimate vacation destination in the middle of Iowa, especially when paired along with some mini golf and go karts too! We had looked up some hotels in the area & found some reasonable ones within 15-20 minutes, but it would be amazing if there was something closer in the area that offered near instant access to the parks. Hopefully if Lost Island is able to get more support and keep growing that could be a possibility for the future. Buying up land between the parks definitely sounds like a solid proactive idea, for either hotel/resort accommodation, or even just future expansion of the parks. “Lost Island Resort” could truly be a hidden gem and magical oasis deep in the Midwest. Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment 😊
The rooms off the sky ride were once rentable, but since the new owner took over I believe they are private now.
Thanks so much for the info - how interesting! Seems like they would have been a pretty unique place to stay if visiting Indiana beach. It’s such a charming park! Thanks for checking out the video and leaving a comment 😊
It’s been great so far!
@@iluvcruising we really love CBR! Glad to hear you’re enjoying it.
It is so exciting to see that this park is actively making investments in new attractions and developments. We were truly worried about the future of this park knowing that it was still struggling to turn a profit after three years in operation, but seeing them double down on a brand new coaster gives me a lot of hope. We'd love to make it out here sometime, if it weren't for how far removed it was from all the major airports we'd already have visited! Hopefully charting a course out that way sometime in the next year or two. ✨
Yes! It was so exciting to see the sign for something “hot” coming next year - and to find out it was indeed going to be a coaster, and a single rail at that, was the best news ever! I really hope the park continues to grow and gains more recognition, because it really does have the bones to be a top tier theme park. It’s already top of the line and definitely worth a visit - the theming, attention to detail, and vibes really set it apart. It is unfortunate that it’s a bit out of the way from major cities and isn’t near any airports - we’re a bit lucky to have it within a pretty driveable distance from where we’re located. Whenever you do make it out to Lost Island, we can’t wait to see what you think as well! Thanks so much for watching 😊
We love a good Best Western! While maybe not the most luxurious, you always know exactly what you're getting. Glad to hear that the gym was as useful as it was sizable! Deeply curious about the ab-sket-ball game Jamie described. 😂 The coaster lineup at Indiana Beach looks totally nuts, so many unique (and very compact) models from known manufacturers in addition to some of their own builds. 12:24 "That's a lot of fish" and they look hungry! Boardwalk amusement parks always have the best kinetic energy, everything so tightly packed together and in near-constant motion. Tig’rr _definitely_ looked rough and rickety, but you gotta get those coaster credits! Also, what does it say about me that when you mentioned wanting to meet “the crow” before he actually appeared on screen I was picturing the 1994 horror movie icon? 👀 The Den of Lost Thieves reminds me a lot of the Knoebel’s Haunted Mansion, but with the added element of the arcade game. I weirdly always feel like the shooting element downgrades the experience a little, but I appreciate it when it’s well executed. 39:00 Absolutely amazing view of the coasters from the top of the wheel! For that matter, great timing for the interactions from the skyride, too. Low-key terrifying to see that one of the structural supports for the skyride is in the middle of the bumper boat arena where a rogue rider could ram into it at any time. 😅 But I’m sure that Indiana Beach has considered this. The arcade looked like a real blast, too! Great video you guys! Sorry we’re so behind, but we’re catching up! ✨
The best western was really nice, and extremely large and had so much to offer! The basketball/tennis courts & full gym and spa were definitely a nice touch, although we didn’t have much time to spend around the hotel. The absketball was pretty fun actually lol definitely a good way to get a workout in with a little bit of entertainment in there as well. IB does have such an interesting lineup, very unique coasters all compactly fit together. They don’t have any huge heavy hitter coasters, but the lineup is well rounded. If you’re looking for woodies - they’ve got Hoosier, cornball, and lost coaster to satisfy that itch, and if you’re looking for some unique steel coasters they’ve got those too in Tig’rr, Steel Hawg, and the triple loop. They also just announced that they’re changing the trains and restraints for the triple loop to make it more comfortable, so maybe I’ll actually be up for trying it on the next visit 😅 Lost coaster truly is one of the coolest coasters though. The carp are crazy! There are seriously SO many. The boardwalk really does have good energy and vibes. Tig’rr was actually better than expected, it looked rough and rickety but really didn’t ride that way! It was like a fun compact slightly less thrilling mini Whizzer from our six flags lol. I love those Schwarzkopf cars that are so spacious and comfortable and feel like lounge chairs. It would have been great if the crow was terrifying 😂 but alas, it was just the friendly IB crow in a fun little Santa hat! I can totally see what you’re saying about the shooting elements taking away from the dark ride - the only thing I did like about the shooting in the Den was that hitting targets did activate things within the ride and made animatronics and other props move around, so it was kind of fun to try to hit the targets and see what was going to happen! But it did take my attention a way a bit from just enjoying the ride. Still such a cool dark ride that was very fun and also unique. The Ferris wheel and sky ride both provide really cool views of the park & are a great way to see the coasters better and relax for a bit. We had a lot of fun too in the arcade, playing some games, and just browsing all the different shops that IB has. All in all - it was a great day, and we can’t wait to go back to Indiana beach. Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Great review of Lost Island theme park!
Thank you so much Matt! We really enjoyed Lost Island. It’s a true hidden gem that we hope continues to flourish 🙌 Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment 😊
Please tell me how you did the first step! I can't get those blasted windows in!
Let me go rewatch and look at the directions and my model again to see if I can recall! It was a while back now, but I don’t remember having tooooo much trouble with it!
This is so in depth and I loveee it! This is perfect for families that’s looking to switch it up and do a few things outside of the parks.
Thank you so much! We definitely like to provide as much detail as possible whenever we can 😅 some of those little things can hopefully help others be better prepared and ready! Cabana bay really is such a fantastic resort. There is so much to do for families & it has such a reasonable price point. We definitely recommend checking it out for a visit to universal! 🙌 Thanks so much for watching 😊
I heard they might be getting an RMC Raptor next year. Then a RMC wild moose coaster.
That’s what I’ve been hearing and seeing now too! A single rail would fit perfectly in the Mura section and the wild mode would honestly fit great in any of the other 3, but Yuta and Udara have coasters already, so I could see Awa being a good area since it’s a bit more chill like the wild mode would be. Definitely sounds like exciting things on the horizon for lost island 🙌
@@keepingupindisney There's an old master plan floating around with expansion pad ideas that had a spinning family coaster next to Matugani that I could easily see being used for the Moose. And given the new plush/book combo this season and the sporadically appearing puppet version, I'd imagine it'd be themed after the Yik Yik horned fox creatures.
@@FigmentJedi I heard about that too, and that would be amazing. A wild moose themed to Yik Yik for the Yuta section would be amazing. I could totally see it happening 🙌 The single rail was officially announced as Fire Runner for the Mura section, so hopefully some of these other rumors will come true too!
The Raptor is now confirmed. It's supposed to open for the 2025 season. No official word on a Wild Moose yet, but it would fit the park very well
@@CJGsquared I saw the raptor announcement!!! So exciting! I really hoped that was coming to Mura and it’ll be a perfect fit. Hopefully we’ll hear some more exciting announcements from lost island soon enough 🙌 so excited to see the park grow!
Flamingo land is over here in england uk 😊
Ah thank you so much! I should have known 🙃 it looks like a great park! 🙌 Thanks for watching 😊
Keeping up in Waterloo! ✨ Omg you guys, you are living our theme park dreams out there in the Midwest. We've been dying to visit Lost Island ever since it opened. I love that you had so much space to move around and meet and greet with the characters...but I hate that a park this beautiful and well-crafted is so empty two years after its opening! 🥲 Hopefully this video will help to bring more travelers out to explore the mythical realms of the Island. I can't even deal with how every single ride has such immersive theming! And all those water features....ugh, it's so beautiful. Matugani reminds me of Storm Runner at Hersheypark, similar trains and layout but infinitely better themed. Katie tried one of those Gerstlauer Sky Fly rides at Toverland, and had just as much trouble as you did trying to get it to flip and turn. Rokava is also very unique in the US, only a few rides of that type are left in operation! Glad you had such a great time there! I really hope that this park survives the next couple of years so that we have an opportunity to visit. 🥲 Thanks for sharing, you guys!
It’s only a 4 hour drive and we’ve wanted to go for years too, so we figured it was finally time!!! With it being a pretty reasonable drive, we definitely wanna go back. We’re committed to exploring more Midwest theme parks that are in the vicinity, and definitely plan to hit the likes of CP, holiday world, michigans adventure, Adventureland, silver dollar city, etc. as soon as we can! Lost Island had been a “bucket list” park that was very easy to make happen in reality, so I’m glad this was the year! It really is so beautiful in the park. So much space, so much theming, characters and story and interactions are all fantastic. The app was actually super fun too and I really enjoyed getting to play quizzes to learn more about the lore, collecting badges, playing their versions of angry birds and temple run, and even more! The app has a really cool tracking system that automatically logs rides and inversions and ride times and lengths for you and all the sort to keep upping your badge collection and unlocking avatars. Even since being back I’ve been on the app playing the games and unlocking avatars and leveling up. Finally got the Matugani avatar with some cool badges and have now reached level 11! Can’t wait to go back and collect more treasures in the app too and unveil the full story. We really hope the park gets more traffic and attention too, it really deserves it. The realms are all so well thought out and put together. With some expansion and continuing to keep the theme and bones of what make the park special, it will truly be incredible. The immersive theming in each ride and how they fit together so well to the sections of the park and the overall story is truly impressive. It does sound like they’re planning on expanding and continuing to grow though, rather than stay stagnant, and I think that will bring more people out to visit once it gets some traction or the next “hot” coaster or ride. The park made a hot sauce and went around asking people if it tasted like a “raptor or a moose” and has dropped heavy hints in their socials showing RMC blueprints on their tables… it sounds like a raptor or wild moose is confirmed for next year. My best bet and guess is the raptor will be the “hot” new attraction in the Mura section. The typical red and yellow scheme we see on the single rails would fit absolutely perfectly with everything else. Matugani does remind me a bit of storm runner, just a bit less intense of a launch and the coaster overall is smaller scale. Storm runner is still a top coaster I hope to ride some day, but Matugani was another I was super excited to get 9 rides on in a day - really can’t ask for more! It’s also cool knowing it came from Sweden and has been given new life. It was cool getting a ride on Nopuko too and getting to experience the rare SLC with a helix finish, and knowing it came from South Africa, but it was not the best coaster overall 😅 the ride ops and park employees at every coaster and ride were just top notch and so nice too. I must not have updated, but we did the sky fly again a couple more times and I was able to get the prime spinning seat and actually hit my record of 5 spins in one ride!!! Not too much to write home about, but I successfully did some flips and it was cool! There are 2 specific seats on the outside fronts that are ideal for spinning and make it much easier. It’s near impossible in some of the other seats just because of the physics. Rokava was definitely fun and the theming made it even more exciting. I’m really hoping to go back with a go pro next time and record all the rides, because Rokava really was made next level with the menacing rock demon in the back staring at you while completely upside down and just watching him flip you around at his will. It really was an experience 😂 We really hope you guys get the chance to visit too, as it’s an awesome park and we hope it gets more support and does really well! With what sounds like some awesome potential new attractions coming, it sounds like the park still has hopes to become a staple in the theme park game. And we truly think it could be 🙌 it just has such a cool story too and is really a place that we want to continue supporting! Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Why the heck does Iowa have a better theme park than any where near Portland, Seattle, Or Vancouver? lol. 13:47 Hey ori music! Oddly fitting.
Right?! It’s such a nice, new, clean, and fun theme park too! We were pretty blown away. Definitely a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere! 🙌 The music all around the park was very fitting and really added some nice ambience throughout. If they keep adding more coasters - this could be a top theme park in the US! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Checkout day is always so hard 🥲 Even - or perhaps especially - when you have had a longer stay. Cutting the sadness with a brief visit to Springs _does_ seem to help, though! Man I would have loved to have witnessed the rolling pianist playing Vanessa Carlton, that is a top tier experience 😂 We also _definitely_ have to make time for that mini golf course. It’s way more extravagant and immersive than it looks like it’s going to be from the drive by! The buckets that may (or may not) splash water would freak me out too 😂 But overall I think the water effects are pretty amazing! Also, Cheddar Bacon and Ranch tots at Friar’s Nook in MK might not be advertised as a meal….but we made a meal for two of it, and I can confidently say it beats out your CBR tacos 😜 Glad y’all had a safe trip home. Great video!
It is always a hard day! A visit to AoA, springs, and mini golf definitely make it a bit better. I didn’t catch all of the rolling pianist playing, but she did play a bit more of the song before recording and it was fantastic! Definitely a great experience while waiting in the chicken guy line 😅 Fantasia gardens was so much fun! We had talked about doing it for so long, and are often given the vouchers for the mini golf along with a resort stay but have never used them - so we figured it was finally time and our last day was the perfect occasion since we had a while before needing to get get to the airport. The theming was great & the course was very fun! Hm… the tots are good and we’ve had them before too, definitely shareable and a good value as well - but personally, I’d still argue the tacos are about just as good value and I think I’d take tacos over tots for a meal about 7 times out of 10. I do really love those tots from friars nook, but they’re not something I can eat all the time or multiple times. The tacos are something I typically have about 3 times now per trip, and somehow still crave 😂 and could be split by 2 for a snack as well, maybe not quite full meals for 2 people. Maybe that will be a fun video for us to make next time - Disney quick service value meal smackdown featuring CBR tacos, friars nook tots, and any other good suggestions we can get 🤪 Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
The _best_ two parks for a final day at Disney! We, too, were preemptively mourning Dinoland USA on our last trip. All we did was grab a snack at Restaurantosaurus and take a final spin on DINOSAUR...you guys were definitely a bit more dedicated, playing all the carnival games haha I think you're right to snatch up all of those souvenir stuffies while you can, though! In a matter of months, they may be priceless artifacts of an era long lost 🥲 I am super excited for the tropical Americas expansion and the Indiana Jones refit because and _only_ because Disney has established that it will be a completely different and unique experience from that of the Disneyland attraction, which gets me excited for something new. As long as it's not a needless clone, I'm down for the march of progress...but we will definitely miss DINOSAUR. Everest also has such wildly efficient loading capacity, it's no wonder that the single rider queue moves so quickly. The changes to Satu'li's bowls were easily the most DEVASTATING blow of our entire Disney trip because (like you) we'd had no idea that they'd been made until we tried to order! RIP Smoked Beef. 😭Shame about Remy's, but watching fireworks and taking a leisurely stroll around EPCOT still isn't a terrible way to close out a day. Oh, and, I think Arie's drawing was the winner of the Simba contest....but for what it's worth, Jamie's actually looks a lot like Nala! If she was going for Nala over Simba, I'd have said she was the winner 😂 Great video, y'all!
We love animal kingdom so much!!! It is pretty sad that Dinoland and dinosaur will be going away, but I’m excited and hopeful that the replacement will also be a worthy new addition to the park that will make it even better. The Dinoland games were definitely fun to play and I was happy to win some prizes - definitely wanted to get a couple before they would be “extinct” forever. Or for all we know, sold at the character warehouse or outlet stores a few months after closure 😂 It does make me intrigued that the Indians honed attraction will be a new experience. I’m still upset about the Satu’li Beef lol. I should have done more research to find that out before, but I guess I learned the hard way 😅 I wish they would bring back the good beef… the bowls just aren’t the same without it. I guess next time we’ll take a tip from your book and just do Nomad lounge or something else instead! We’ll for sure try to get on Remy’s next time - it would have been fun if it had worked out, but we had such a great day between both parks that we weren’t too upset about it! We’ve been on Remy’s a few times already and will definitely be back for it again 🙌 Thanks so much for watching 😊
Sk8r Boi was definitely the theme song for the day! Jamie's face when you mentioned getting her a lightning lane for Cosmic Rewind...I am deceased 😂 But we never got to see what she thought of it! Immediate cut after the reverse launch and no post-ride review. Until I hear otherwise, I'm assuming that she hated it haha I'm really devastated that we just barely missed Test Track 2.0 on our recent trip - it closed just a few weeks before we visited. 🥲I will forever and always miss 'TRON Track', but I'm cautiously optimistic about the new ride. My one request is that they not drastically change the music lol we've still yet to try so many restaurants in EPCOT, Le Cellier included....but we're slowly making our way around! Not surprised to hear that Le Cellier has better steak than Be Our Guest - the food in the Beast's castle isn't bad, but it's never been exceptional. EPCOT is definitely more of an 'eating' park! Glad that you made it to Frozen before the cutoff, and even got to enjoy that beautiful acoustic cover of One Little Spark on the way out. Great vlog, you guys! ✨
We heard it so many times 😂 Jamie did not enjoy guardians too much, but it didn’t cause any motion sickness issues or anything, just a bit too intense for her preferences! It was nice to be able to get one final ride on test track 2.0, although it’s no secret i definitely preferred the original version and am very excited to see what 3.0 will be. I think it may be the best of all, but only time will tell! Definitely excited to see what will come, but also wish they had still kept on with the seeming to be forgotten spaceship earth refurb and update. Le Cellier was definitely very good. Great cheese soup with pretzel bread, delicious steaks, and a mousse moose to finish it all off! Cannot ask for much more 😅 it was such a fantastic day at Epcot! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Wanted to say thank you for your resort tours! Not only are you super thorough, but you show everything! I am the type of person to get a little anxious about going to a new place for the first time. I am doing 1 night here and 1 night at Royal Pacific before our Disney trip next month, and you showed me everything i wanted to see, but no one else showed!
Hi Julie, thank you so much for the kind words and taking the time to leave a comment 😊 I am get a bit anxious when going places and like to know all the details as well, so whenever I’m able to cover a tour or review I try to hit those little things that people may have questions about - and I am so happy to hear that it was helpful for you and had some of the information you were looking for ☺️ We really enjoyed our stay at Cabana Bay and hope you have an amazing time! We’ve stayed at several Disney resorts, and Cabana Bay really impressed us for the price point. Hope you have the best trip ever! Thanks so much for watching 🙂
Great video again!!
Thank you so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Omg I just saw this and thank you for the shout out. ❤
@@voloantiquemalls4217 we love the antique mall and Volo museum so much! We still come to the antique mall often and it’s one of our favorite places to visit 😊 thanks so much for leaving us a comment!
Interesting they don’t run buses to Epcot or Hollywood if skyliner is operating! Skyliner can be a bit scary if windy
Agreed! It would be nice if they still ran them, even if just less frequently like every hour or so.
May you & Jamie have some sweet happy to be married company in front of her hands & nose!
When is the Day of the Wedding?
Next June!!!
I would figure that this shows that Jamie is happy to be having you be her Partner!
It was such an exciting day for the both of us! ☺️
Rapunzel would be so happy if she saw this!
Your Best Day Ever Scale: 10
Yes!!! It was such a great day 🙌 thanks so much for watching 😊
Do they still have the weird carp pool? Last time I went when I was a kid my cousin kept threatening to throw me in there
Omg yes they did actually!!! It was out right on the water across from some of the rides and shops and I was SO confused when I walked past and looked in 😂 they were everywhere and crammed so closely in the water and I couldn’t believe it! Not sure why I didn’t take a video lol but that definitely caught me by surprise 😅 If we go back I’ll document the carp in depth 🙌
@@keepingupindisney it's so freaky! Like why are there so many? What is the purpose!
Indiana Beach is a lot bigger and more exciting than I thought or expected it to be, to be honest! The lost coaster has always been a bucket list credit, super jealous that you live close enough that you can claim a ride on it whenever you feel like driving out that way 😜 but had no idea that the rest of the park was such a sprawling property! LOVE the haunted house, well worth a $3 upcharge to inject a little bit of spooky into your experience for the day 👻 Great vlog, something a little bit different from you two, but super fun to watch! Thanks for sharing!
Surprisingly - it’s not that large of a place, but they fit a LOT into the space and the layout is longer, but quite thin. The majority of the park is on a straight “boardwalk” type area and so many of the coasters and rides are built right next to, or even on top of each other. It’s really quite impressive! For some of the more recent additions like steel hawg and the triple loop they’ve been expanding out from the boardwalk, and on our most recent visit it looked like they’re planning to open some flat rides over in that area as well to fill the now extended areas of the park. Lost coaster is definitely SUCH a unique ride. That’s really the only way to describe it 😅 Frankenstein’s castle was definitely an experience too. Worth trying out once at least for anyone that likes a little bit of haunt, but we don’t think it’s something we would do everytime lol. We actually just got back from a return visit to Indiana beach where we made a more full vlog of our day, so that will be coming to the channel soon! Thanks so much h for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
You couldn’t hear me, I know, but I did call Briar Rose before you revealed it as Jamie’s bound for the day! 😂 In some ways, it’s a shame that we’ve all _just_ learned how to work Genie+ to get the most out of our day in the parks, only to have it replaced with a hybrid of old and new. Having said that, I’ll take literally anything over virtual queues! I think Haunted Mansion is a definite trade up from Small World, as Lightning Lanes go ⚡️ I’ve always heard Tony’s described as being very ‘mid’, but the food doesn’t look bad at all. I think maybe it’s just the fact that there are so many more exciting and higher class dining spots in the Magic Kingdom, and Tony’s just gets lost at the bottom of the list. In any case, it’s super cool that you can see the parade from across the restaurant! I love seeing a little bit of love for Tom Sawyer Island, too. I’m not sure I heard you right…is it a Mystery Mine, Arie? 😂 The WDW railroad is one of those attractions that you simply _have_ to do at least once! “Beyond Big Thunder” has everyone excited, but until they start actually breaking ground, I’m not holding my breath - too many blue sky pitches and not enough actual construction 👀 Also, did I just hear Peter Pan lose a fight to his own shadow? Haha come on Pete, you’re better than that! Looks like you had a full, fun day at MK and the ideal no-crowd view of the fireworks, too! Great video. ✨
It really is a shame that they’re changing the system after just getting a good feel for it, the hybrid version feels weird and definitely still doesn’t seem to check the boxes for what a good “fast queue” system could or should look like. But I will also take anything over virtual queues as they’ve very much overstayed their welcome and I never liked them in the first place! We’ve always heard Tony’s was very mid too, or even bad - like the Olive Garden of Disney 😅 but we’re people that actually don’t mind Olive Garden every once in a while and it kinda hits the spot, and Tony’s was much the same; slightly better tasting than Olive Garden, but a little more expensive (and no breadsticks and chicken gnocchi soup). Being in the Magic kingdom and having the parade views though definitely elevated the experience though and we had a great time at Tony’s! It’s not somewhere we would eat regularly, but would definitely go back and had a great experience. I think it’s still a bit of a mystery on what type of mine we explored 😂 that mystery mine sure was mysterious. We were definitely glad we did the railroad and wanted to get on it really badly! It was cool to see where the potential expansions could be, even if things haven’t been super concrete! I’m also skeptical of all the plans and blue sky idea tossed around, but it sounds like at this point I’m fairly confident that there will at least be SOMETHING coming behind big Thunder, even hearing now there might be an expansion behind the plot of pirates too - but definitely still lots of questions of the “what” and “when” and desperately craving something solidified. I feel we’ve got a bit better of an idea of changes coming to animal kingdom and have a bit more detail there, but so much is still up in the air! It was such a fun day at Magic Kingdom! Always nice to end with some fireworks too ☺️ Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment! 😊
Th music is the best chefs kiss
That laundry timer was the most relatable thing I've ever seen in a Disney resort vlog 😂 The coffee at the Boardwalk _does_ sound good, but it'd be hard-pressed (ha!) to beat out the Riviera's almond cold brew. Love that there are so many different flavors connected by the Skyliner, though! That's the great thing about staying at a Skyliner resort - you're never short on options, regardless of whether you're looking for Italian subs or specialty coffees. Had literally _no_ idea that the Lost Bros had a band in addition to a clothing line! The concert looked like a blast. So cool you got to meet Fairview and the Bros themselves, sounds like the perfect way to spend a "rest day" on (near) property! ✨
The laundry timer is a must 😂 on laundry days the agenda can be hard to coordinate while trying to get things done but also be efficient in cleaning the clothes! Gotta put a little PEP in my STEP if I know the timers gonna be going off soon 😅 The almond cold brew was SO good and it’s really a tough choice between the 2… there’s just something about that sweet cinnamon flavor, and the day I drank the frozen coffee it was quite hot out - so it was perfect for the weather and fit the vibe. I’ll have to try both again to do another comparison - safe to say that both are some top notch coffee options though. Definitely a perk of staying at a Skyliner resort; there are so many other resorts that we wanna try, but it is just so hard to choose one off the convenient travel route now! 🙌 The Lost Bros have some really great music actually and they’re working on another album that sounds like it’ll be coming out this year! They do mostly Disney covers, but they make some pretty great unique ones. Their cover of under the sea was actually featured as background music on American Idol a few months ago which is pretty wild! And apparently some of their songs are on several of the Disney cruise line playlists, so if you go on a disney cruise - you may hear a lost bros song and not even know it! I love all of their creativity and the energy they bring to the world of Disney creators! Super nice people and really cool to meet. Fairview was fantastic too, and not sure if you caught it in there - but they actually brought of Tom, the singer of the plain white T’s, to sing Hey There Delilah and it was a really small and intimate crowd and a super awesome moment that we’ll always remember. We had a really great time trying something different and getting a little outside of the Disney bubble! It was a really good day off from the parks overall 🙌 Thanks so much for watching 😊
We are DVC members and love staying at Boardwalk ❤
Boardwalk is one of our dream resorts!!! We are really hoping to stay there some day 😊 It’s such a fun resort and we really love the vibes. Walking into Epcot anytime sounds like a dream too! Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
Blueberry Mickey Waffles _do_ sound much better than standard Mickey Waffles….but ngl, $10 is _still_ too much for three teenie tiny waffles imo. You gotta really love’em! 😜 Jamie had us laughing when you boarded Star Tours, quick and decisive ‘no’ when asked if she was ready lolol and Tower of Terror is by far our favorite ride at DHS! Never under any circumstances do we skip it 😍 looked like a really great character day, too…we’ve never met Pinocchio or any of the seven dwarfs! We’ve met Geppetto at Disneyland, but his little wooden boy was nowhere to be found. 174K is a pretty great score for TSM, but 184K is even better haha great vlog, you two! You definitely got your moneys’ worth out of DHS this trip! ✨
When you consider that a single pretzel with cheese is about $8, a latte is $6+, a single churro about $7, and several other items right around the $10 price point that we wouldn’t find as worth it - the $10 for the Mickey waffle platter definitely seems more palatable, especially since we often do spend much more than that even on a singular cocktail pretty much anywhere at Disney 😅 they do also come with strawberries and whipped cream & are a pretty full and filling portion, so they’ve definitely become one of my favorite breakfast options that I actually consider to be one of the more affordable ones. I would certainly have ended up spending more getting just about anything from centertown market at CBR! I love the blueberry Mickey waffles and will defend them all day 😂 they’re always served super hot and fresh too and just really hit the spot with the cold whipped cream and berries. They’re thick and quite filling. Jamie really doesn’t love star tours lol. We only went on it for the new Ahsoka and Mandolorian scenes and because Jake likes it, but it’s typically a skip for us so we can prioritize other things. Tower of terror is fantastic, definitely my (Arie’s) favorite ride - and it might be growing on Jamie a bit too, even if it still scares her a little 😅 We were surprised to see the characters out but it was really cool! We had only met the dwarfs before, but never Gepetto or Pinocchio! It was definitely a great second day at studios to hit some of the things we missed on our first day and also do some favorites again and try some new things! Thanks so much for watching 😊
Love all Your videos! Gotta try that grilled cheese next time. The grownup lemonade is very good!
The grilled cheese is soo good! I actually tried a bite of the brisket one this time too… and I think that might be what I order next time to switch it up - because it was SO good! The grown up lemonade is always a hit 🙌 Thanks so much for watching and leaving us a comment 😊
@@keepingupindisney yum brisket one is on my list for our spring 2025 trip!
My husband and I love going to Baseline tap house to grab some beers and the pretzel they have we normally do that for lunch.
It’s so good! I don’t know how we had been to studios so many times and never tried it yet. The pretzel with the beer cheese was SO good, and I really enjoyed the blood orange hard cider. Definitely a fantastic spot to stop for a beer and snack on a studios day 😊 Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment!
Hi! Love your video! I’m finding your video a year later. We’re planning to at CBR next month and we’re wondering what the bus transport is like.
Hi! Love your video! I’m finding your video a year later. We’re planning to at CBR next month and we’re wondering what the bus transport is like.
Hi! Thank you so much for checking out the video and leaving us a comment 😊 Caribbean beach resort has a bus depot near the main lobby, and then also has bus stops in most of the individual sections too. Buses run to Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Typhoon Lagoon all day & they also run buses to Hollywood Studios and Epcot if the Skyliner is down. But if the Skyliner is running - that will be how you’ll get to studios or Epcot. Also a great way to get to the riviera or go check out the boardwalk or other resorts. The bus at CBR stops at each bus stop and goes around the resort in a small loop before picking up all passengers and heading to the final destination. There is also just an internal resort loop bus that goes between the sections and can be a nice way to get around the resort if it’s harder for you to walk long distances. We actually have a couple videos on our channel that might be helpful for some of your other specific questions and to get a feel for the resort! We made a full Caribbean Beach Resort tour & a Caribbean Beach Resort pros and cons video covering many other details of CBR! They are both on our channel ☺️ Thanks so much again for watching!! Please let us know if you have any other questions at all.
