They don't seem to crossover with other publishers these days outside of reprints and give permission to other publishers to reprint Crossover Stories and outsourcing the creation collections and special editions of classic Stories that Marvel does with IDW
Each turtle could also have their own special crossover series with one of the avengers: Leonardo + Captain America, Raphael + Hulk, Donatello + Iron man, Michelangelo + Spiderman
The Mirage Comics is my favorite Comic Run of all time (I don’t read much comics admittedly) because it’s such an interesting, wacky, and amazing idea. Each issue builds off of one another and the art is absolutely stunning. It’s so crazy that this comic was running at the same time as the Fred Wolf Show and even crazier that every Turtles project that has come after take inspiration from those first two comic books. Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird are two crazy motherfuckers 😂
i own a 3rd print of #1, but is was the tales of the TMNT vol 1 that got me into the comics. i now own a complete run 1-62 vol1 with the many printings other than 1
This is going to sound super lame and corny, and probably loser-ish, but at least ONE person out there will know what I mean by this: The TMNT works saved my life. I grew up a fan as a kid in the 80s, so it has always been in my life. When I became a 20 year old with dying parents, no money, a crumbling world around me and no prospect for a real future to be seen, I almost gave up. But then, I rediscovered the original Mirage works in a used book store... it changed my outlook and spirit. The books and volumes of the TMNT kept my brain in a good place for years after that, and it was my personal retreat to recover from life. Now, in my mid-40s, I still turn to the TMNT (in any iteration) for happiness and a little smile and relief in my busy life that I didn't give up on.
Not corny at all bro. This is a good story and it needs to be shared. Especially for people struggling with depression. And even to artists and entertainers like myself that not only loves to entertain, but also struggles with depression and the anxiety of thinking what we do is pointless. It helps us to see that entertainment is greatly needed and we can possibly save someone's life through laughter/humor. So I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this story and it inspires me to continue with my acting career and puts a battery in my back to create more RUclips comedy skits as well as move forward with My own comic book that I thought up a few years ago. Thank you for this!
So. I prefer the versions where Yoshi and Splinter are the same person. But I'd be lying to say that Laird and Eastman created a great comic with the first issue. From the premise of ninja turtles fighting a guy called the shredder you would think it was a comic opera. Instead they made it so serious that it was enjoyable.
Thanks for watching!
Can you name all the times this story was adapted? And what are your thoughts on TMNT #1 (1984)
Fun fact: according to Peter Laird, the concept of "The Foot" was taken directly from Daredevil's enemy "The Hand"
Yeah, I really like that page of the empty street, so thankful that they decided to keep it....🤘🏼💯✔️ Such a beautiful liminal scene...❤️
I can't figure out why Marvel hasn't teamed up with IDW to give us a TMNT / Daredevil crossover.

@@starter47990 I know it's like common information to a lot of Turtle fans

@@ЮрийБогомолов-б8щthat sorta an overkill don't you think?
The Monument of TMNT History.
Happy 40 Years of TMNT!
Thanks for the amazing video ❤

And the Rest is History
Rather have the mirage comics as a movie than mid ronin
