Lumbee aren’t Indian - they’re black and European. There’s a reason all the other tribes have been AGAINST them getting federal recognition for decades - their records and DNA prove they are 0% indigenous.

I just found out..On my moms side I am lumbee and African American. And want my children to know this culture. So understand how i feel being ignored and not recognized. My dad's side we are GU272 DESCENDANTS. I will pray for my family and our children's future.

Just took a DNA test and it is showing I have Lumbee In my DNA .
No DNA test shows “Lumbee” - also, Lumbee are not Native American. A DNA test would just show African, European (by country), indigenous etc and geographical areas.
