- Get information ready for search, put key prerequisites in place, and assign licenses to prepare for the next transformation in how we work with Copilot for Microsoft 365.
Copilot leverages large language models that interact with your organization's data using the Microsoft Graph to generate personalized experiences with related context, reducing the steps to find the information you need and generate content. By design, Copilot respects user-specific permissions to any content or information it retrieves, and only generates responses based on information that users explicitly have permission to access.
Join Jeremy Chapman, Director of Microsoft 365, as he shares admin steps to get started, by:
1. Getting your organization's information ready for search - with Just Enough Access permissions in place. This is a best practice, whether you plan to deploy Copilot for Microsoft 365 or not.
2. Putting Copilot for Microsoft 365 prerequisites in place. This includes the having the right Microsoft cloud apps and services running for each user with access to Microsoft 365 Copilot, and
3. Assigning Copilot for Microsoft 365 licensing to users and groups to provide them access.
And finally, with everything prepared and ready, it's important to have a plan in place to drive user adoption and optimize results by creating a center of excellence - as you would with other app and service - rollout to let people share easily share what's working best for them and find help from internal champions.

This was a great video about how to deploy the software nicely into an environment as well. We need more of that for all the new stuff. I nice blueprint on how to deploy it, in a controlled way into your environment. Very good video. thanks.
Glad it was helpful!
Love all the animation in these videos! Is this done in After Effects?
Excellent Video. Very helpful.
Incredible, im innnnnn
Is there already any material available when it comes to adoption? How should people use copilot, tips on writing prompts, what is responsible ai, etc
Will there soon be an E7 license? All these add-ons are getting irritatingly hard to juggle...
😂😂😂 in 2030 ,they will introduce E30 license
Any Idea when Copilot will be available in GCC-High?
when will windows 11 copilot preview start?
Any release dates?
I noticed a pre requisite of Microsoft 365 E3 or E5. I have thousands of Business Premium users who need and are expecting Copilot based on Microsoft's marketing. When can we get details on Business and F1,F3 plans?
How does that work, there is a user limit of 300 users, on business premium...
@@DarkingDK1 I manage a lot of Tenants.
Do I have to do anything to get this in regular ole Windows 11 Pro on my PC?
Thanks! I look forward to using it!
you can start using it in Bing Enterprise Chat
Quick question: If I want to run GPT & Azure cost management, do I need to have 365 ready or even implemented to access this capability?
Thanks for the question. No, they are separate services and the Copilot functionality is native to Cost Management.
So SMBs don't get it at all.
I have copilot but my onenotes never come up as reference files here. Nor do my loop components. Just PPt and word 0:49
Wow 🎉
I would like to become an expert on all of this to help companies get ready and implement, any recommendations on how to become that guy (still in college) and courses external not major wise. I'm in a major that's not super relevant to this.
Computer Science and Business Administration
We will have copilot for our senior admin first and go from there.
Great video and looking forward to deploy it in our organization… When will we know more about the pricing?
@@Kinos141 not a chance of it being included!
@@Kinos141 That would be great, but highly unlikely 😐Or maybe they're gonna include it in some licences and not others, while making it available as a standalone too with different versions like Power Automate...just to make sure no one understands the pricing model, once again 🤣
seems like the current published pricing is $30 per user
Can I attach a microphone to copilot and tell SCCM to rename all computers?
This would be way cool and speed up ticket closures.
You could, but it would need a lot of scripting automation before and after you had Copilot create/modify a hostname list.
Does Copilot work with A5 licenses or do we need to have E5?
At the moment (Early Access Program), it only works with Microsoft E3 and E5 licenses. Not with A or O licenses
What will the Copilot licence cost?
#30USD/user/month
$30 a month So either this feature works amazingly. Or only businesses are gonna be using it. Maybe a handful of students but for the most part the rest of us are left out
Can't see it in my microsoft 365 account is it available for all countries?
it is not in GA yet. only subset of customers at the moment
Is copilot included in Microsoft 365 E3 licences?
It's a $30USD/user/month surcharge
I thought Windows Copilot was for everyone using Windows 11. Is that true? Or is it only for big corporations?
this video is about Microsoft 365 Copilot, not Windows Copilot
