      Kristin, thanks for subscribing. I do not have the file. Even if you have the file, you cannot practice MS 365 Copilot yet. As it is still under private preview stage. When it doe become available to general public, only organizations with Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, Business Premium licenses can purchase it at $30/user/month. Before getting hands on MS 365 Copilot, you can incorporate ChatGPT Code Interpreter in your lesson, as that can also automate many Excel tasks too.

    I'm afriad this is just going to make us dumb. It won't challenge us to learn and grow new skills.

    • @SuperExcel.online
      @SuperExcel.online  Год назад +3

      In the short term, we might become "dumb” in performing certain tasks, as we will no longer have the need for and will forget how to use the old tools. However, due to the abundance of free time we will have, human nature or the profit-driven nature of businesses will compel us to seek new challenges. In the past, when computers started gaining popularity, it was believed that employees would have reduced workloads as computers would handle many tasks. However, the opposite has occurred, with employees now spending more time at work than they did three decades ago. Looking at it from a different angle, I believe that in 10 years, AI will make older individuals appear “dumb” compared to younger people, as older individuals may not embrace, learn, and understand AI as quickly as younger generations. This is similar to some current seniors who struggle with the digital world we live in today.

      @acceoexcel, at this time, Microsoft 365 Copilot is not available to the general public yet. In the first wave of the Early Access Program, only 600 enterprise customers were offered access on invitation to test it.

    If learning Excel/any tool isn't a barrier due to NLP, what would be the ideal outcome for job security for a analyst like you and me?

    • @SuperExcel.online
      @SuperExcel.online  Год назад +7

      Haha, NLP could potentially help ;). I would say the ideal outcome for job security is peace of mind. Regardless how technology evolves, it remains a tool. As analysts, we are not tools, nor mere Excel users. We are infinite conscious beings that no tool can replace. The key is that we have to be conscious of our infinite potential, so we can ride the waves instead of being engulfed by them.

    • @SuperExcel.online
      @SuperExcel.online  Год назад +2

      @juja2819 I think it will need much less of the lower end analysts. The higher end analysts will still be critical and needed, as their core skills are not just Excel skills, but also critical thinking, logical reasoning, business knowledge, which enable them to ask the right questions to Copilot.

    QUESTION: With using COPILOT, do we still have access to the formulas used?

    • @SuperExcel.online
      @SuperExcel.online  8 месяцев назад

      Yes. You do still have access to everything, including the formulas YOU used. As it is "Co" pilot, so you can still do all this by yourself without the "Co" pilot. I do gradually realize what you might truly meant as I type here... In the demo, Copilot summarized the results and provided a table there. You might be asking if there were formulas in those cells, and if we can still access those formulas in those cells. In this case, I would say, as of this time, the Copilot did all the work behind the scene, and only returned the values there. So, there is no Excel formulas in those cells. Based on the development of ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis tool, which is the foundation of Copilot, I believe the work is done with Python and/or combination of other analytical tools in the background by Copilot. I'm also curious if OpenAI/Microsoft in the future will make Copilot to complete the analysis using Excel formulas as we do it by ourselves, as apparently ChatGPT has all those Excel formulas knowledge and skills.

    how to install or set up 365 in excel?

    • @SuperExcel.online
      @SuperExcel.online  Год назад +1

      It’s not available to general public yet. Unless you work for the 600 enterprises that are in the early access program, you cannot install it yet.

  • @excellNexcel

    AI can never replace a car driver. The driver will still have to be sitting in a car and he will have to be trained and licensed in how to drive the car when AI is not in use because AI will never be full autonomous. Excel will never be full autonomous either. An excel worker who knows the other options available to them besides using co-pilot will still be needed. Co-pilot is simply another tool to use like charts and pivot tables and power query. The Excel worker who has a well rounded knowledge of the totality of Excel will still be invaluable to a company. Co-pilot will be just another trick in his bag of tricks. CO-pilot simply utilizes the tools that are already available to the Excel user, and it is very important that the user knows what co-pilot is doing in the background - which the user can also easily do with with more CONTROL. Co-pilot is not a replacement to learning about the vastness of Excel, it is simply a very minor tool.
