It is a great analogy comparing the programming state with the newer stages.
This is exactly what came to mind when ChatGPT first came out. Using natural language to write programs will be the new norm very very soon!
You had very good sense of the direction it’s going👍!
Such a user friendly explanation of what's to come! Thank you!
I'm very grateful that this video showed up in suggestions.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on Copilot. This video is very informative and I look forward to the world of love.
Thank you! If you look forward to THE world of love from outside, that may take quite some hundreds of years. However, if you look forward to YOUR world of love from inside, there is no wait time. That could happen NOW, because you create your world inside your consciousness.
This is amazing. Must watch to the end.
谢谢!
This will reduce the work force and increase productivity like mad. The future is exciting
*business owner speaking. 😂
Awesome!! Yay, this is an absolutely magnificent development of MSFT and thank you for your tremendous insight.
Glad you enjoyed it!
excel AI and budhism, love this ❤
Very informative and helpful. How do I learn this program?
Thanks. You have to wait as Microsoft 365 Copilot is only available for 600 preselected companies at this time, unless your company is one of those 600. I will definitely share much more when it's available to general public.
Awesome. Can I know the font used in this sheet?
Thanks. The font is just ordinary Calibri font.
Is this feature part of the current 365 version?
The Microsoft 365 Copilot is not released to the general public yet. When it does become available, it will be available to Microsoft 365 subscribers within the Office suite of applications.
Can you provide us the file that you are using so we can practice? Thanks. Thank you also for this video. I teach Excel as I own a school and trying to find ways to incorporate Ai in our lessons. Thanks so much for your channel.! I have subscribed.
Kristin, thanks for subscribing. I do not have the file. Even if you have the file, you cannot practice MS 365 Copilot yet. As it is still under private preview stage. When it doe become available to general public, only organizations with Microsoft 365 E3, E5, Business Standard, Business Premium licenses can purchase it at $30/user/month. Before getting hands on MS 365 Copilot, you can incorporate ChatGPT Code Interpreter in your lesson, as that can also automate many Excel tasks too.

I'm afriad this is just going to make us dumb. It won't challenge us to learn and grow new skills.
In the short term, we might become "dumb” in performing certain tasks, as we will no longer have the need for and will forget how to use the old tools. However, due to the abundance of free time we will have, human nature or the profit-driven nature of businesses will compel us to seek new challenges. In the past, when computers started gaining popularity, it was believed that employees would have reduced workloads as computers would handle many tasks. However, the opposite has occurred, with employees now spending more time at work than they did three decades ago. Looking at it from a different angle, I believe that in 10 years, AI will make older individuals appear “dumb” compared to younger people, as older individuals may not embrace, learn, and understand AI as quickly as younger generations. This is similar to some current seniors who struggle with the digital world we live in today.
Please how do I get and install Microsoft 365 Copilot on Excel
@acceoexcel, at this time, Microsoft 365 Copilot is not available to the general public yet. In the first wave of the Early Access Program, only 600 enterprise customers were offered access on invitation to test it.
If learning Excel/any tool isn't a barrier due to NLP, what would be the ideal outcome for job security for a analyst like you and me?
Haha, NLP could potentially help ;). I would say the ideal outcome for job security is peace of mind. Regardless how technology evolves, it remains a tool. As analysts, we are not tools, nor mere Excel users. We are infinite conscious beings that no tool can replace. The key is that we have to be conscious of our infinite potential, so we can ride the waves instead of being engulfed by them.
@@SuperExcel.online on point! Your take on computing is so brilliant
@@SuperExcel.online but it will be less need for analysts!??
@juja2819 I think it will need much less of the lower end analysts. The higher end analysts will still be critical and needed, as their core skills are not just Excel skills, but also critical thinking, logical reasoning, business knowledge, which enable them to ask the right questions to Copilot.
We're all doomed!
QUESTION: With using COPILOT, do we still have access to the formulas used?
Yes. You do still have access to everything, including the formulas YOU used. As it is "Co" pilot, so you can still do all this by yourself without the "Co" pilot. I do gradually realize what you might truly meant as I type here... In the demo, Copilot summarized the results and provided a table there. You might be asking if there were formulas in those cells, and if we can still access those formulas in those cells. In this case, I would say, as of this time, the Copilot did all the work behind the scene, and only returned the values there. So, there is no Excel formulas in those cells. Based on the development of ChatGPT Advanced Data Analysis tool, which is the foundation of Copilot, I believe the work is done with Python and/or combination of other analytical tools in the background by Copilot. I'm also curious if OpenAI/Microsoft in the future will make Copilot to complete the analysis using Excel formulas as we do it by ourselves, as apparently ChatGPT has all those Excel formulas knowledge and skills.
how to install or set up 365 in excel?
It’s not available to general public yet. Unless you work for the 600 enterprises that are in the early access program, you cannot install it yet.
AI can never replace a car driver. The driver will still have to be sitting in a car and he will have to be trained and licensed in how to drive the car when AI is not in use because AI will never be full autonomous. Excel will never be full autonomous either. An excel worker who knows the other options available to them besides using co-pilot will still be needed. Co-pilot is simply another tool to use like charts and pivot tables and power query. The Excel worker who has a well rounded knowledge of the totality of Excel will still be invaluable to a company. Co-pilot will be just another trick in his bag of tricks. CO-pilot simply utilizes the tools that are already available to the Excel user, and it is very important that the user knows what co-pilot is doing in the background - which the user can also easily do with with more CONTROL. Co-pilot is not a replacement to learning about the vastness of Excel, it is simply a very minor tool.
You do know that there are already driverless taxies in use in the U.S. and that Google is already testing (on main highways) driverless 18 wheeled trucks.
@@dwill123 They’ve blocked traffic, driven on the sidewalk, sped away from cops-and San Francisco seems powerless to stop them. They are extremely limited to known routes and they are still prone to huge reporting issues which the press does not often get access to.
This guy said the same thing about search engines not overtaking encyclopedias. 😅
..
,
I believe we will not need to learn Excel in 3 years because the progress in AI is happening so rapidly.
Is it available in Excel 365 now
No. It is not available in Microsoft 365 now for the general public.
Eventually AI agents will do analysis for other AI agents who will run the world. Humans will resemble the humans in the movie Wall-e. I can’t wait. 😅
it is better 12% google nothing more ...
Bye Siri
You don't mention that this feature is only available to a tiny fraction of Excel customers? Don't you think that would be an important note, so we know that none of what you're showing here can actually be used yet? Sheesh.
