  • Since 1983, the Autism Treatment Center of America has presented The Son-Rise Program - a truly child-centered approach (for children and adults diagnosed with Autism and other related disorders) in which you’ll move with your child, instead of going against them. This creates a deeply loving, deeply respectful learning environment, enabling both you and your child to build a joyful connection together. Then, using a step-by-step educational process, you’ll inspire a love of learning from your child. We put parents in the driver’s seat as key teachers, therapists and directors of their own programs, utilizing the home as the most nurturing environment to help their children dramatically improve in all areas of learning, development, communication and skill acquisition.

I read the book Son Rise, later I heard they had started a treatment program for people with all kinds of problems who couldn't find help anywhere else. It's not just autism anymore. God bless this family and all the work they do.

It is about time. We have searched and begged on our knees for help and none was to be found. You just gave us hope.

I always end up teary eyed when witnessing testimonials from The Son-Rise Program. The possibility and transformation this program brings about is amazing. It's a way to help autistic children become social and interactive, and thus become functional in this world with the rest of us. But at its root, really, The Son-Rise Program reconnects us with a way to be human - with unconditional love, fountains of joy and deep appreciation for our life experience.

It’s amazing I did this before they did any Internet interactions. I joined him. I joined his world and yes that bridge was crossed and he’s 16. He’s an honor roll student but still has a problem with social skills but now speaks perfect I contact, but being a teenager has its things and I can’t figure it out because I followed everything. Maybe it’s because he was moderate to severe and was never supposed to speak and has come, leaps and bounds and he has a 4 in citizenship meaning he has the highest citizenship you can have in high school which is difficult to maintain. Typical children have a hatd time doing that. Actually, there’s many things that he can do that. They said he would never do so. I am proud of what he has achieved. I just think things could be even better.

Hi my daughter is 8 she is none verbal I’m super scared of doing this to take . She has been in ABA for almost 5 years and she has accomplish some goals like potty training, but she has become more agitated and aggressive and it’s really hard for me to understand what to do when professional like ABA teachers and school teachers can’t seem to be able to help her either.
