To everyone - biomedical intervention is almost a prerequisite for any therapy. For example if b12 vitamin level is very low - it will be impossible to learn and function normally. Make sure as that kids are fully checked for metals vitamins and maintain anti inflammatory diet (gluten and casein free) , check thyroid function, liver function and then in parallel start aggressive therapies. aba is most effective!

My child has been in therapy since he was almost 2. He is 5 now. I've seen so many children who are non-verbal and come with us to these clinics for years to see hardly any progress. I recommend to anyone in this situation to stop looking for miracles from just therapy. Go to a doctor and get some medicine that will increase your childs chances of making a breakthrough. Try CBD don't just give your money to these people and expect miracles. I also recommend either sitting in or watching on camera what they do.

Very honest input. However gut health can effect any individual it's been my experience that my late diagnosed autistic spectrum child has dropped lots of functioning due to dismissed gut issues by medical professionals. They seem to pass every symptom off as a psychological issue.

@jeenasohaily5568 there are a few tests but I recommend to start with the OAT test from Great Plains.

Are you familiar with the recent Jama Pediatrics study that showed as many as 37% of autistic toddlers (diagnosed with the ADOS before age 3) did not meet diagnostic criteria by age 7? Super interesting!

There's maybe other target gene are not sciencetically found. Therefore, it can only tell the current genes confirm of autism in lab do not match in the blood test.

Unfortunately, no one knows what causes autism. Best of luck to everyone.
