My heart bleeds...I really remember well playing the Beta and hearing this song for the first time. Chills. And now hearing this years later and reflecting on what the game has become...man such wasted potential. I could literally cry.
The music is almost a reflection of what the game could of been. With its amazing anthems breaking through the very sad and melancholy tones as if there was truly hope this game would be huge and a global success, but unfortunately it didn’t reach the dizzy heights we had all wished for. Beautiful piece of music to a disappointing game imo.
@@IlkanAli updates made it playable, I mostly only play this game now because of the movement, the devs have stopped any work on the game as far as updates because they’re completely tearing the game down and rebuilding it, hopefully it’ll be better after that
I still belive ther is hope but it would take the comunity to come back and help it. it still has a lot to offer. and once the flood gates open it will get back on its feat.
You know what makes me like the story of a game like No Man's Sky? Despite coming out as an unfinished mess, Sean Murray and Hello Games continued to work on it to be a respectable game nowadays. It took them a long time, but they never gave up despite being a smaller studio. EA is a big enough company to do what it wants, yet it doesn't even care as long as the next Madden or Fifa game is on the shelves. All their other projects? Screw em. Buy our season passes. Fuck EA.
The developers of No Man Sky were passionate while making their game. I guess the developers and staff working in Bioware were passionate to while making Anthem but their masters EA piece of trash are just souless crash gab management who killed such a great game. I hope someday in near future after Bioware runs out of idea for Mass effect and Dragon Age they might give Anthem a second chance.
The sound of those synthesized voices doing a chorus will forever haunt me and I only wish more scifi games would take advantage of that Atmosphere. I sat there when the game first came out and listened to this over and over. If anything the composer should be praised with some sort of an award. Amazing song.
the reason "music is so important in a game" is because it has to tel la story, you can't just slap metal and hope for the best, you, and pardon my pretentiousness here, have to craft the music lovingly, a boss fight needs to be imposing, or you're just fighting a bigger tougher foe, exploration needs to be mysterious and alluring, oceans needs to be serene (most of the time) the skies needs to be free, the water temple needs to be a fucking nightnmare, and merchants needs a theme to know if they sell good shit, ominous shit, crazy shit, or shit shit, it has to be talored to the situation, the surroundings, look at yelda, halo, warframe, titanfall, fuck CoD and the stupidity it is, and look at mass effect, listen to the music, what emotions do they entice?
This game had so much potential, the music, graphics and parts of the gameplay were absolutely amazing. But yea why put money and effort into a game if you already have alot from sales and you can just cancel it.
I found this song to be quite satisfying, it’s got its own little theme, definitely describes this game and what’s coming when it releases. Hopefully it doesn’t let us few who have hope, down

Reminds me of the transformers ‘arrival to earth’ soundtrack, I remember watching that in the cinema with my auntie I must have been 13-14 maybe a bit older and when I heard that blasting through the speakers I can’t explain it, it just took me somewhere Iv never been. Great times
Played the demo back then, even though I can't bring myself to like looter shooter I actually liked this one, real shame it didn't work out atmosphere was amazing I mean the menu screen already did something to me

Rasputin's voice synthesis in that game is probably still one of my favorite voice works in any game to date. Plus foreign voices always make it sound more awesome.
I like this game to this day. I just like to think of all the people who don’t like it as the freelancers who died when their home was attacked. And the ones that do like it are the ones who lived to tell the tell the stories

Despite all the problems it was one of the games I had the most fun with, the combat is amazing. The day they announced that update 2.0 was canceled I really cried... Thanks to all the people I met in the game and who supported it until the end, Strong Alone, Stronger Together.
LeGecko1 why a solo focused game? Either way you can play alone. Don’t get me wrong I love a good single player experience, but this is what anthem was meant to be.
