Can we please get some love for the composer Sarah Schachner for this absolute masterpiece. Regardless of how Anthem the game turns out, this piece evokes so many images and feelings and I think a lot of gamers can agree that this track feels like a voice inviting us to do something grand and impossible.
I continuously come back to this video for everything you described. This piece is truly evocative of such feelings and abstract ideas. The distorted, mixed octave vocals in particular carry so much of that, at least for me.
I just looked her up and realized that she was the composer for AC:Origins. That soundtrack was so brilliant, and now I realize why Odysses soundtrack is lacking a bit, since she did not work on it. Man now I am hyped for the soundtrack alone
I feel like in the game we don't hear that robotic voice enough. The little bits of it I heard in the game I was like: Damn it feels so weird yet appealing but I can't quite hear it correctly... Happy to have found that video. Gives me shivers.
While being stuck in the loading screens and title menu of the VIP demo as it had tons of issues, the music made it sooo much more tolerable. The soundtrack is truely exceptional
@@darthsavitar I haven't even been all that interested in Anthem at all really, but this performance struck me as being so cool to listen to, shame it was, what, just over two minutes long? But honestly it really looks like most of the games coming out in February will be pretty noteworthy, I am still playing Monster Hunter World quite a bit and going through games I bought on the most recent steam sale so I'll be set till even later than then. I will definitely be checking out Anthem when it drops though, see how the release fares for everybody.
This song gives me shivers and I'm both amazed and afraid for what comes next. I don't know if that makes sense but I'm flabbergasted by this composition.
I have fallen asleep to this song almost every night xD I draw to it and meditate to it. This music is just so "lingering and Inviting!" I just wish there was a 1 hour version haha
It paints a world unknown and undiscovered.. With wonder and horrors alike... Inviting wanting to tell its story and hinting to a vast past... Yup... LIKE HALO... can't wait for the complete ost.
Picture it. You and a group of others walk out of the mouth of a cave after crash landing your ship, on the horizon is green fields, floating islands of rock, and wildlife soaring across the skies and running across it's plains
Every time i hear it i imagine myself on pandora flying around on the back of a massive leonopteryx / tsaheylu the hallelujah mountains below me, across hells gate with those massive trees crossing the oceans making contact to all native people saving them from humanitys destructive grip i just tear up every time man sarah did something special there this is beyond awesome
@@TragicFX yeah, i saw the video of her doing the voice at the game awards. Does it mean anything what she sings or are they random alien voices? I guess we don't know yet :D
"Rudimentary creatures of blood and flesh, you touch my mind fumbling in ignorance, incapable of understanding... ...I am beyond your comprehension, I am Sovereign"
The music at the beginning with Balfe, Zimmer, and Howard was awesome. The music for The Last Campfire was great... but this one evoked so much for me... and I am not even interested in Anthem as a game. Thank you for making this and sharing it!
To me this gives a sad feeling and tears in my eyes. I dunno it's like it's reminding me of something... Like someone who died in the past but i just cant remember who or what. This is a beautifull song from a super talented composer. I love it!
If you love the layered voice aspect, it's simillar to a lot of Enya's stuff like "March of the Celts" or "Eclipse". Other examples: "The Longships", "In Memory", "Celts", "Deireadh An Tuath", "Isobella", "Cursum Perficio", "Tempus Vernum", "Deora Ar Mo Chroi", etc.
I sincerely hope that we hear this song leading up to the last boss. Either walking through a crystal lit cave or through an underwater cavern with the anthem of creation changing the scenery around us.
One of the first times I'm actually desperately seeking for info on the soundtrack release date, haha. I know it's coming with the more expensive edition, so I suppose it's released the same day as the game. Definitely one to buy.
I’d like to hear more of the Robotic voice in the rest of the soundtrack, is gives me some feeling that I can’t shake lol makes me feel like exploring...
Et voici le plus grand gâchit du monde video ludique, cette musique épique et frissonnante est le résumé d'un jeu légendaire bafoué. Anthem est né et restera une énigme pour son inachèvement.
Coming out with it right now this is far better then any tune you've heard out of destiny it's a masterpiece and I freaking love it if any game can get in the mood to fight and explore a vass world then anthem has it with this
@@leodarknesshelm they're either 1.trying to be funny or 2.get a reaction out of one of the dislikers to see why they disliked it, do either work? never
As shitty as we all can agree the final release was, this music is still TOP NOTCH. Honestly, the worst was when the game glitched it out in some way. The sound for the game was wonderful, but the game itself felt.... horrid. I have yet to get an achievement despite having completed the mission, over a year ago.
i just got backstabed by my closest friend. i had an horrible week.... and i have been holding it for sooo long. but this just made me cry and let everything out... and idk why ;( love this track
I get Skyrim vibes from this in some parts. Anyone else? Edit: 1:08 to like 1:30 is what I’m talking about. Just that loud abrupt piece in the middle of the song, just like in Skyrim.

Yup, this track is simply out of this world, like I'm transferred to another dimension I can't comprehend

i litterally never heard of this game until i heard that song and now im amazed

My thoughts exactly
This is honestly one of the best sound tracks iv ever heard for a game. It saddens me how this game turned out in the end
Me too, mate v_v
I feel like in the game we don't hear that robotic voice enough. The little bits of it I heard in the game I was like: Damn it feels so weird yet appealing but I can't quite hear it correctly...

This song is amazing. I listen to it regularly. So mysterious and wondrous at the same time.
I miss this
Excuse me while I play this on loop for a few hours.
I'm actually excited for the soundtrack to Anthem
Seriously hope there's more tracks like this
Such an unusual sound to hear in a game.....
This raises my hopes even more.
boy were they crushed
Pain
This is like perfect main menu music
oath man, it'll probably be played at the main menu, first mission and I can picture it rolloing in some type of credits of sorts
Believe it or not it is actually the main menu music, download the demo and check🤙🏻
That is the main menu music lol
@@jameswtlocs Just brilliant
Check out “valor” it’s anthems theme and it’s better menu music than this
Hell yes thank you for making a cut of this. This song transported me to this world they’ve built so successfully. Love this
Um.... so
I miss this so much!!!😭😭😭

This was honestly the high point of the show for me. Although that joker reveal at the end of the awards was pretty fucking neat too
Jason Woolford, agree... if anything, regardless of the game's story overall... I honestly just want to explore Anthem's world.

Joker reveal?
Joker reveal was worse than this.
@Bea Force Joker was revealed to be first character DLC for Smash Ultimate
Sounds heavenly.

This is a Halo trilogy tier composition. A good soundtrack is the cherry on top for an amazing game, so this gives me hope.
Things like these keeps the industry great and fresh.
Damn, this one really is one of the most fascinating soundtracks I've ever heard. I wish i knew what the alien voice says.
Sarah Schachner, the main composer of this game, is doing that voice but with over the top auto-tune haha

I wonder if Anthem is a being and this is how it communicates.
This must be the power of the Anthem!

I have no excitement for the game.
But this theme is fucking godly.
I listen to this everyday after a joint it’s so good can’t wait for the game.
Strange, captivating and yet, so beautiful.

This music is good freaking good. Gives me chills everytime I hear it!!!
Amazing
I could tell Anthem will get the reward for best soundtrack
wow..that music is relaxing and legendary at the sime time
Masterpiece, I need this on Spotify BioWare
I hope the track is the titular Anthem of Creation
That would be a dope name
First time I've watched The Game Awards, thoroughly enjoyed it. To me , this song was the highlight of the night...EPIC!!!

That Chick who was doing that robotic voice was hot
:D

Manny Garcia fuck, I know! She almost had like, a hot librarian look to her, y’know?
Shes fine and fit. Also very talented it seems by other soundtracks she lead.
Thx for this!
Playing Anthem Now,It's more fun to me now
Every time we are in the water when this game comes out this song will be played. Everyone must do it. No if ands or buts.
This is giving me so many memories from Destiny 1.
So good.
Goosebumps!
Yuuuus someone needs to make one with all of what they played
This is what we get when the halo soundtrack and anything song related to the vex from destiny 2 had a child.
This reminds me so much of Halo. I love it!
Can’t wait til Anthem 2.0 Next...#strongertogether💯
This hurt to read given the recent news.
Glad to see they are taking risks with the soundtrack. Could be a hint as to what we can expect from the game.

This makes me hype for Anthem and Halo infinite
I'm skeptical about the game but this song sure is unique and cool

Any way to extend this to 1hr?

Metroid prime vibes, the only reason I'm considering buying anthem for that same experience

A interesting 'language' they created for this piece. I wonder, in English, what it is in reference too?
This song will be in the OST right? It has to be. It gives off great vibes. Reminds me of Halo, God of War, & Destiny all at once.
1:03 if there was an intro this bit would show the title Tron legacy style
It's a pity such great music will forever be attached to such a disliked game.
This. Anthem's musics are great ! like really ! This one and Valor are my favourite, but the game is trash atm :/
So fucking ready for anthem

If the game is like the music itll be a masterpiece
It wasnt
Does the voice sing something or is it just random vocalmaking? This song is godlike...
halo plus destiny
This should’ve been Destiny 3's theme. If it were to exist. O.O
