Even if the game isn't great, Sarah Schrachner always delivers a banging soundtrack.
I loved Anthem in spite of its shortcomings. The feel of exploring an open world with the flight mechanics was a blast and that sense of freedom in getting around hasn’t been equalled by anything else. Put a few hundred hours in and got all achievements. This theme was one among the reasons I had a great time. They should have done better with it, especially with support after release, but as it is I’m grateful for the fun I got to have flying off from Fort Tarsis with my homies. Good memories.

This makes me feel some type of way, this game, this game had so much potential. I remember about 4 years ago when it was announced, the trailer rose expectations so high from visuals and more, truly could’ve been an epic game. Rip anthem, I hope this isn’t the end.
I REALLY like that “echo” (if you can call it that) in the background. Reminds me of an eerie soundtrack for a horror space game, but mixed with an assassin’s creed sound. It gives the music a feeling that you’re ready to brave a mysterious frontier. Which fits the game really well.

No wonder it gives you an Assassin's Creed feeling, the composer who made this track also did the soundtrack for Assassin's Creed Origins. (;

Those parts with the background echoy version of the theme at 0:08 , 1:58 and 2:32 sound otherworldy and yet extremely beautiful...like some sort of alien bird-like lifeform is singing

Those HEAVY low notes at 0:49 and 2:12 hit me so hard. They are my ABSOLUTE favorite parts of this composition. Shoutouts to 1:25 ish for some dope sounds as well.

As a longterm fan of both games and movies in general. . I can say that this is something very tasty to my ears, I'm impressed! Lets hope that rest of the OST will be as good as this. I'm glad that this game, Anthem will have such a good music. In the game itself, you play as a pilot in a Sci-Fi world, controlling an advanced mech-suit(s). You can fly, swim, run, shoot. . you have total freedom, so the soundtrack like this is very fitting. And now, when you know the background. . close your eyes for a moment, and feel the rest. Its epic.
Sarah is a very talented composer, make sure to check out AC Origins soundtracks, it has some similarities

As a Fan of Sci-Fi, I come to give my dismissal to such a fantastic idea for a video game, something I hoped would be redeemed, whose main mechanics and setting were exciting, but which was officially desolated by his creators until a few hours ago.
Rest in peace, Anthem.

@@pardolagames8994 this game taught me a lesson; which was to never buy a game before looking at the reviews. Got cyberpunk because of how good cdprojectred was with Witcher 3. And cyberpunk was a complete and utter mess thank God I was able to get a refund. Bullet dodged.

The gameplay itself is solid, the story seems quite interesting, but if I'm rubberbanding all over the place and controls don't respond because of lag, the entire fun goes out of the window.

Craig has seen it all from the tales of the 6 "Noble knights", to the destruction of the seccond galactic ring like temple, and the darkness of the pack of Imps (who one is vocied by Nathan Fillion) who slaughtered his own brother at the demonic Homewold. To the reawakening of the Demon at the temple planet of reqeium where he fought along side the now reawkend angles who seek the death of the demon.
Now it all comes down to him fighting his greatest foe: the demon himself John-117

I've come back and listened to this like 100 times by now. It's just SO goooood! Epic and the fact that I can hear this and it already tells me a story is why I love this. If gameplay comes even close to matching the OST, then we have ourselves an adventure ladies and gentlemen. I'm ready. ;)

god I wish they do an Anthem 2.0 I think the game was too ahead of its time and wasn't ready. I really feel there is a market for this type of game and I actually enjoyed playing it.

That didgeridoo in there sounds amazing. All of it does really but somehow that just feels so appropriate for this soundtrack/game. Really hope we get some epic moments with this song playing in game and also hope the rest of the soundtrack is like this. So hyped. ♥️
Just started playing a week ago. I had been super excited for it before the post launch crash and burn but I finally bought it and honestly am enjoying it. Yeah there's a lot of better games with better story, lore, combat etc. but I love the world. It's totally a place I'd live if I could. Future tech with a little bit of a dystopian vibe plus FREAKIN iron man suits yes plzzz

Despite the angry reviews I still enjoy playing anthem, it's such a pretty game even if the graphics were kinda downgraded you still gotta appreciate the effort that went into creating and open world looted shooter with a beautiful landscape like anthem

This theme really does give a feeling of an alien world, larger than you can understand. Something so technologically ancient that it holds many mysteries yet to be found. Sad to see that the game didn’t live up to it.

This shit is epic but NOTHING is as memorable and well produced as Halo's score. BUT Anthem is sounding very fresh, clean, and memorable which is a good indication this game might be worth risking picking up. I can't trust EA anymore but I might go ahead and gamble a day one pick up given how everything seems to be coming together. But yea, this music is fucking raw but I can't help but think nothing will ever top Halo. ALSO for the record, how can we even compare Halo and Destiny's music. Both were originally composed by the same dude lol

@@Scio581 A lot of people have played the actual game, not just the demos and it's apparently as good as it's being advertised. My buddy played the real deal and says it's not just hype, BioWare might have captured lightning again.

@@jonathanferreira8406 To be fair, it was Bioware who fucked up. Bioware had no idea what Anthem is gonna be up until announcement. EA actually made it better as when Bioware showed the board their initial idea, it was rejected because it was too dull. Only until flying was implemented which caught the board's interest and green lit the project.
