    Apologies for the lighting. I had a tricky time editing this one with the workshop lights, so I decided to turn them off. I need to actually put them on a dimmer because I found that it wasn't enough. But all in all, I really hope you find these little videos informative and easy to watch. Make sure you check out the Weekly Wraps to stay up to date with turning, life, and Q&A. Cheers,

    Always liked the look of the Ubeaut gear but havent had need yet. Glad you also discovered Scotty, Kustom grit is my go to now so probably no need for EEE but the shellac and Aussie oil might still get a run ;)

    Beautiful straight grain on those boxes! Quarter sawn? Either way. I love that shine buddy. Keep up the hard work.

      @KerryCorney  Год назад +1

      G'day mate, yes sir, it sure is quarter sawn. When I'm processing, this is usually the stuff I cut from either side of the pith. You have a good eye, mate. Yeah, it's hard to beat this product. I've heard that it's readily available over in the States, which is cool. I added the international stock list from Ubeaut's website to the description in case anyone needs it. Thanks again for your support, mate.

      I think the max was around 1200rpms from memory. It all depends on the piece. 🤝

    Thanks for a useful video. I use the cut and polish along with the shell wax cream when I'm making pens. A question for you, do you seal the wood before using the cut and polish?
    Wishing you well on your journey.

      Thank you for the recommendation mate. Shellawax makes pens look their best in my opinion and Aussie oil. To answer your question I don't mate.
      Thank you so much Ian.
