You should try the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with a pitaka carbon fiber band. It would solve a lot of your issues. The carbon fiber band makes the watch extremely lightweight...

I had never been interested in smartwatches (I had even stopped wearing a regular watch a couple of years ago), but I recently bought the Watch4 on sale (the smaller one). I don't run (although I lift some weights daily) so it's mainly for notifications and just to discover a new tech. Battery life is pretty rough. I had seen the Huawei GT Runner for $99 with a 2 week battery life, but it's a big 46mm watch and like you I prefer comfort, and also it does not have wear OS...so I guess short battery life is the trade-off... Although at this point I am not wearing it all day long anyway so it's not a big deal...
Glad you're getting to try out the watch 4. Agreed it's not critical. Nice to have at times though
I much prefer the Ticwatch over the Sansung purely for the twin display so I don't have to flick my wrist or touch the screen if I only want to know the time especially whilst cycling.
Would you not use the always on display on the Samsung?
Well i loved my watch 5 pro until i saw the wear os digital clock blurr overlay.. It makes the aod function useless 😑
That is digital clock blur is only temporary when you are using an app, or other things beside a watch face. After a set amount of seconds, it will go back to a regular AOD.
@@timothytruong1224 after the last warch update it comes all the time i get an noticication when the aod is on, even when all apps are closed 🤷
