I'm from Germany and I saw GWAR 19 times live. My first GWAR Concert was 1992 and since this day I was addicted to them. My highlight was when they invited my friends and me backstage after a show. I love this guys. Please, continue as long as you can. 🤟

This band has been with me for 30+ years (I lost count). RIP Oderus and thank you to GWAR for keeping this juggernaut going. Dave is smiling.
GWAR was kind enough to send us a CD to review back in the early 90's... Needless to say, it was love at first sight.
Man, I love GWAR so fucking much. I first saw them in Empire Records as a kid. I had the opportunity to see them when Oderus was alive and I couldn't make it. I regret it forever 😭 I've seen them a ton since he's passed, and I have much love and respect for them continuing on 🤘🏻

Just saw my first Gwar performance yesterday at Aftershock. One of the best live shows I've ever seen. Moshing while getting sprayed with blood is awesome.
If your into weird you'd probably love Rob Zombie live. During one of his shows he threw blow up dolls into the audience and had a challenge to see what section could crowd surf their doll from the pit to the hill the quickest.

I'm just so happy my favorite band still exists and still kicks ass, we all miss Oderus since he left us to rot on this mudball planet, but Blothar does a great job at singing and killing. And meeting the band at the Rave one year was one of the best moments in my life, Hail GWAR!

My last GWAR show was 1997 Columbus Ohio. 2022 I'm taking my 10 year old son to Tempe Arizona and we are both fucking stoked!
I love this. It's the best it can be. It still makes me miss Dave though. I want Slymenstra there for the high vocals, I want Oderus' otherworldly voice. This is great and I love it, but we lost something irreplaceable when we lost Dave. Long live GWAR. The Master has a butt, and we can fuck it.

I’ve been to every GWAR show since 2010 except for one due to health issues. They always put on one of the best shows IMO. I will go to every show for the rest of my life.
I do miss Oderus but do love the beefy Blothar. Music and costumes are great.Don’t think of this as Brockie being replaced.They are just carrying on the tradition.Will always love Gwar.

I saw these guys back in December with my best friend and it's easily the coolest concert I ever been to! I took a picture of the band while they were playing this song and plan to get a full on poster of it!

I still have such fond memories of running into an out of costume Dave outside of the Canard Center in Halifax NS and smoking a joint with him before he let me back stage for a few. I also remember meeting him at a signing at Heavy Montreal a few years later and him actually recalling me before I got to say anything.
He has been my greatest infulence ever since I was a Kid and my friends older brother first put on Scumdogs of the Universe. Also never been more crushed than I was the day I heard he died while I was working at nigh shift doing security at UPS.
Sick of You has always had a special place in my heart. It was one of several songs I grew up listening to (parents didn't let me listen to aky other GWAR songs and I didn't understand the concept of what a band was lol). I think it is wonderful to finally hear Blothar's officiall take on it. It isn't the same as the original, obviously, but that is a good thing. It carries the same spirit and that's what counts. I still personally love the Live From Mt. Fuji version the best though.

Not to be leaving a sappy comment on a fucking *GWAR VIDEO* of all videos, but..
I used to be OBSESSED with these guys when I was like, what, 12-14 (about 2014-2016)? after seeing them at Soundwave in 2014. It's been about 5-7 years since and I've been thinking about them again lately and WOW bishop's vocals have improved immensely. I really look forward to when the covid situation is better, to see gwar live again would be insane. Despite the fact that the direction I've gone as an artist has changed drastically, these guys really inspired me and pushed me in the first place to chase said career path nevertheless, I really owe my entire life to them. Much love from Australia.
Nope, not the same, and that's OK. Too many old ass bands that lose a key member that refuse to evolve because they've been commodified: Yes with Jon Anderson, Queensryche with Geoff Tate, Journey with Steve Perry. Now, THOSE are cover bands. Mike Bishop is not Dave Brockie. And, that's perfectly fine. Great work, scumdogs!

I don’t understand all the hate to be honest. Sure Dave was awesome and will be missed. It’s like AC/DC. There’s Bon Scott and Brian Johnson. It’s not supposed to sound the same.
