I love the platforms soooo much more than the regular chuck taylors. They feel so much more comfortable. I have the regular black and white, and just ordered the pale amethyst ones. So EXCITED for them to come in! ps. I ordered true to my size and they fit perfectly!

I love the regular ones but these platforms keep slipping off my feet even tho I sized down TWO sizes and they’re still too big 🫠

Hi! My only problem with the low top is heel slippage and for me I think it's caused by the foam in the sole which gets squeezed when stepping on it (this way my heel goes down a bit too). It really annoys me, but hopefully I break in the foam and maybe there won't be that much movement in the heel area. Anyway I got the US 5.5 which is my size usually, and as there is no US 5 only US 4.5, I think that would have been very tight and maybe short too.
I got the extra high top platforms today and I'm in awe. They're amazing.

i didnt buy the platforms just the regular chuck taylor high tops in black but the site i ordered them from said in the product title that they were mens, but in the sizing showed both mens and womens size (eg: mens 4/women 6).. the shoe should be unisex so im wondering if thats just misleading information or what?

I loved your video! I've been wanting to buy these for a long time but they're quite expensive for my wallet right now, so I think I'll just have to wait a little longer. Meanwhile I'm all over the internet reviews to see if they are worth the price lol. I have one question left tho, does the insole have soft foam down there? Like, is it comfortable to walk or is the insole a little hard to step in to? I have some platform sneakers and unfortunately they always hurt my feet a little whenever I'm walking 😔 That's the price you pay when you're short lmaooo. Great video💖
Thank you so much for watching 🥰 They can be a bit spendy but save a lil at a time and you’ll def be able to buy them in no time! TBH The insoles feels a bit hard. You could always buy soft insert insoles! Of course when you first wear them they might take a bit to work in and for them to feel comfy, Converse have that rep! I def know what you mean, short girl probs for reals!! 😎
I bought them in youth for 54.00 at journeys you just have to convert your size.

I am an Adult Female, and I like my shoes to fit me perfectly, no room. Most times, I wear all my low Converses without socks, too. But even with thin socks,
I wear a Size 3 USA in Little Kids, in all the Converse Styles!
(if you wear an Adult size 4 to 5, then a Size 3 USA Little Kids, will fit you)!
Plus, they don't make half sizes in the Little Kid's sizes.
I got the Platforms in several colors in the Lo Top, and just got the Black pair and a White pair in the Hi Top Platform Style.
Those are the only colors available, at this time for the USA Little Kid Sizes.
But I LOVE 'em, much better than non-Platforms!
Very comfortable to walk in, since they are more cushioned. 🙂

Normally I wear a size 7w for vans, but have not owned any converse and wouldn’t know what size to get. Would you recommend sizing up or down for the high top converse?
I would go with a 7. I wear 6.5 in vans and still got a 6.5 in converse and they fit. These converse shoes are true to size! Hope this helps!
Can somebody tell me if the platform converse are also good to deadlift? Mostly people use the concerse chunk but i never see the platform in the gym? Its important for me to know pls
Personally I wouldn’t wear these to deadlift in. I’d go for the original converse to lift!
I’m curious as to why when I want to buy the official design and color of the shoe, all of the sizes are sold out but when I click on the customize option, and add the same white and black default colors, all sizes appear and are available again. This is in the official converse website.
I'm pretty sure the custom shoes are made to order! That's why they're a bit more expensive

They are true to size. Do you own a regular pair of Converse? I’d go with whatever shoe size you wear in regular converse or whatever other shoe size you wear. Hopefully that helps!
How was the shipping? I am debating if I should pay for the faster shipping because I need them by a specific time.

hey, as someone who buys these shoes in the US a lot, I would size it up yeah. sizing up doesn't make it uncomfortable or anything. also you can google to convert sizing

I need help. :( I'm typically in between the sizes 9 and 9.5 US womens. I was told by the converse customer service that I should go half a size down (9 basically) and now I'm unsure if that'd be too small after seeing people mentioning that it's true to size. I'm honestly not too sure how either size would fit me, I just know that I have pairs of shoes that are 9 that fit fine and the same for 9.5. I don't know what to do!!!
Do you own any converse? If so buy that same size! If you don’t own any converse then buy the size you would feel comfortable in. I also wear 6 and 6.5 but I went with 6.5 bc I like the half size room so it’s not super tight on my feet and uncomfortable esp when breaking them in it’s gonna hurt
@@luciadelreal I think I’d go for the bigger size to be safe but then there’s also the fear that they’re visibly huge and not fitted around the ankle area. It might leave it looking wrinkly because of the amount of space available if it ends up too big. But there’s also the chance of it being perfect. 😂 Geez I don’t know. I’ll look through my closet and see if I have any converse from years ago. Thank you for the response.

These shoes run true to size! Another way to decide your size is if you’ve ever owned regular converse at all go with the same size. I’m a true 6 but I always buy my shoes in 6.5 because I prefer room in my shoes.

i have two pairs of platform converse (dusty pink and white) and ordered some black platforms yesterday. i love the platforms not only bc they are trendy but since i have a wider foot they give me more support. the only pair of OG converse i have gotten have ripped where the rubber and fabric meet. this has not happened with the platforms however the rubber has separated a bit where the bend of my foot is. it has not ripped and this can easily be fixed with some shoe goo. i definitely recommend platform converse. i also do wear them everyday and i do not have tired feet at the end of the day. please be cautious with the laces though they snapped with my oldest pair just don't pull supper hard. easy to replace on converse website they are only $3. buy them rn

Which would be more durable in a humid and rainy climate, the Chuck 70 or a platform regular chuck? I know the quality of the Chuck 70 is better in general, but I think the platform ends up preventing the inside of the shoe from getting wet.
Either shoe would be fine for humid and rainy climate. The platform is only 1 1/2 inches tall. So not a super high platform. You also have to remember the shoe is canvas material so if you walk in deep puddles the shoe will get wet regardless if you get a platform style.
I'm size 45/11 male, should I size down or stick true to size, I wanna buy these since the normal chucktaylors hurt my foot due to the thin insoles

im watching this because ive been wearing the 70s why whole life, and i bought my last pair in Dec2020 but i dont go out much and ive only worn them like 10 times in the last 2 years but the soles are already breaking apart and the colours are kinda washed, i wanted to invest in something better but similar and a friend recommended me the platforms, i just wanted to make sure that they wont break that easily like the 70s so if any one of you would like to advise me regarding this please feel free ✌🏻

No so much when you first wear them tbh. Takes time to really break them in and for them to feel comfortable. I have wide feet too.
I just bought a pair a month ago, but I was afraid to size down if it would be too tight so I went with my regular size but it felt too spacey at the front is that normal?
Hmm I went with my true size and I didn’t have any problems. Maybe tighten them when lacing your shoes. These shoes are bit chunky esp with the platform

I’d recommend thick socks and wearing them a lot so you work them in. Converse take a bit to feel comfortable

a bit bigger is ok but not much more than the normal converse model🤔🥰

They restock constantly on the converse website but it’s just about timing it right! Tbh I would check back everyday, that’s what I had to do until I checked the website and they fully restocked on all sizes.

I’m not sure if they come in men’s size. I read in the comments below someone said they didn’t come in men’s sizes :/
They do but you have to go two sizes up in your regular size in womens sizes in converse sizes for example if you are usually a size 10 in mens that would be a size 12 in womens.
I know they do bigger sizes for these because I saw a pair of these in size 14 womens on marketplace so they definitely do bigger sizes that men can fit into as well.

At first they make feel strange but if you don’t mind a platform shoe then you’ll be okay. The platform is 1 1/2 inches.
