To all the STAYs watching this to figure out what to buy, here's another set of tips lol: - The Move platforms are made to be lightweight, thus the "cheaper and lighter" feel to it. I think they were created with dancers in mind or people who just need to feel like they're literally barefoot. I personally think that this style will age longer so you do not have to worry about them going out of fashion fast since they're easy to pair with the iconic style. Lee Know, Jeongin, and Felix have worn these for performances. - The Run Star Hike is just your standard All Star (originally made to be basketball shoes) but with a platform and unique sole. Some say it feels a little chunky. This is more of a trendy style, but I feel will withstand the times relatively okay. We all know that Han and Changbin loves these and how it is generally called the "SKZ Converse" hahaha - Honorable mention are the Chuck 70s, almost visually the same as the All Stars but is heavier, less flexible, made of thicker material, and is overall more supportive. It's more expensive than the All Stars for that reason. This is the best if you don't buy shoes too often/have a minimalist wardrobe. I believe Seungmin and Hyunjin have the All Stars or a variation of it since they need the flexibility and lightness for performing.
I never understood the qhole cheap thing. I have them n they're just as good as the other 2 pairs I have. Just lighter. N the insole is way softer too.
A $70 shoe is not what I'd call "cheap"... They are just different designs for what people want. I personally like the canvas run star hike,but I gave the first ones in my cart, lol

Ngl, Stray Kids and various K-dramas made me buy the Run Star Hikes, but truthfully, they are the most comfortable, versatile shoes I've ever owned. I can't recommend them enough. I come down on my heels hard when I walk, so the Chuck 70s hurt my feet a LOT, whereas these are cushy and comfortable and significantly more sturdy. I'd be interested to see if the Move is more comfortable, as well. I think I will always own at least a pair of these forever because I genuinely love them that much.

The history of the hikes is very bad. Basically the Design is stolen. The design came from a colab with designer J.W. Anderson with Converse. They sould out pretty quickly because people were just loving them. Everybody including the designer (J.W. Anderson) got their money and everyone was happy. Then Converse had the great Idea of reproducing the shoe because it was profitable but they changed one slight detail: They deleted the designers name from the shoe and continued selling it without giving the designer money, so basically they stole the design made by J.W. Anderson. I don't want to keep anybody away from buying the shoe but would like more people to know about it✌
Unfortunately this happens to designers and it happens in all kinds of businesses. Everywhere I go, I see knock offs of designer shoes. Because when something is successfull everyone wants a piece of the pie or they want to cut someone else out because they want it all due to their greed.
That's a contract they go and sign they know what's going happen,has happened to several designers after but they signed the contract so it's legit all fair
The last two pairs you reviewed has an arch inside the sole which makes it super comfy. The second pair you reviewed, I bought myself a pair. I love them. Love your black pants. Looks super cute on you.
It’s so true what you say about the platforms feeling cheap. I am used to my run star hikes, and having both, the difference in quality is evident. The platforms do feel crazy comfy almost as if I am wearing slippers or something, they also look like slippers though, are barely keeping their shape. If I could go back I would’ve gotten the hikes in the color I bought the platforms. They look so cool on my feet.

Well I like the leather with the leather like pants it was really Chic with the combo for women or ladies and Nike who owned converse are displaying the converse as more fashion oriented and it really looks fashionable.

Ooo that is a hard choice you are right they are totally different shoes! The ozweego I think is more comfortable for a longer period of time & also you can wear them in almost anywhere walks/casually/gym where as the run stars you can’t because of the platform. Yeah, I can help you with that! It's been 5 months since your comment, but... Better late than never, right?😅😅 As a short person myself I can definitely say that high tops make you look a bit shorter😢 Actually, that goes for every kind of ankle-high shoes, boots, ets especially black ones😢😢 They kinda... visually cut your legs, creating some sort of disproportion. And it's not just that. One period of time I was very skinny... Like xxs size and high-top converse still made my ankles and legs in general look wider as if I've gained some weight🤷♀️🤷♀️ And looking chubbier isn't a problem by itself, it's the disproportion! My tall friends never had an issue like that so it seems like it's exclusive for petite ppl like us😢😢 So i would rather go with low-tops😉 I mean... high-tops look good with wide-leg jeans when the actual top is fully covered. But w/shorts, dresses, leggings, ets low-tops go better😉😉 As for your second question (Moves or Run hikes) I own Moves and they are comfortable AF! But! I heard that Run hikes add you more height so if that's the deal-breaker I'll go with Run hikes 😁
I have the high top with low platforms, it was uncomfortable. I was trying the low top and still low platform and my feet was being so pain even a short walk. These are a loottttt more comfortable than the low platforms however saying that personally I wouldn’t choose this shoe to wear long distance not because it’s not comfortable but because of how chunky/ heavy the shoe is

I love both to be honest in terms of durability the leather ones will probably last longer but other than that no major difference

So i would rather go with low-tops😉 I mean... high-tops look good with wide-leg jeans when the actual top is fully covered. But w/shorts, dresses, leggings, ets low-tops go better😉😉
As for your second question (Moves or Run hikes) I own Moves and they are comfortable AF! But! I heard that Run hikes add you more height so if that's the deal-breaker I'll go with Run hikes 😁

I have the high top with low platforms, it was uncomfortable. I was trying the low top and still low platform and my feet was being so pain even a short walk. Now I’m still looking to buy converse because of it looks well with any styles. But I’m being scare of feet pain since I need to wear it and walk long distance. Should I buy this high platform? Need honest review please
These are a loottttt more comfortable than the low platforms however saying that personally I wouldn’t choose this shoe to wear long distance not because it’s not comfortable but because of how chunky/ heavy the shoe is
