Ukulele for Beginners - Lesson 27 - Eight Days a Week - Timing info - Key of C

Hello musicians, in this lesson we revisit the subject of timing in a bit more detail with tips on how to increase your knowledge and reconnection to musical timing. Eight Days of Week is another song in the Key of C but requires a bit more chord change opportunities for us to keep developing those in a manageable way. There is an optional way to play the D7 chord here but you can start doing barre chords by trying out the D7 chord shown as an experiment and keep good fret hand form while doing that to increase fret hand strength and dexterity. Always try to enjoy your playing, its not meant to be a chore but can feel that way because it takes a lot to become proficient. You wouldn't expect to be able to do a back flip if you took up gymnastics, a simple somersault would be enough of a challenge until a lot of time and energy devoted to learning that skill so keep that in mind about music learning as well and enjoy your simple musical "somersaults"!
