I can only speak for myself, but if I were in a relationship with someone I loved, I'd maintain a level of privacy out of respect for my spouse, even if the need for "support" arose.

I can not imagine taking photos of anyone in that condition, especially a loved one. I would help clean them up, make sure they were safe, and get them help if needed. And, who is to say he was not just exhausted from working so hard or from being in the sun too long. I have seen many people ‘nod off’ from pure exhaustion with absolutely no drugs or alcohol in their system.
I know many people who nod off just watching TV...🤣Including me...no alcohol or other drugs 🤔!? Hmm...
imagine doing huge movie shoots for months & months. You'd "nod off" for a nap took. I only did extra work in my 20's and sometimes a day of filming would be 16 hours then travel back from the film site. After a week I'd be so tired & mentally exhausted i would have one small glass of wine during a family dinner and as almost faceplant into my desert. No one in my family would take a picture or judge me. They would sympathise with me exhaustion and help me to bed.
Taking pictures is not love or support.
When you are living with an addic or alcoholic and it's a toxic form you will slowly stop cleaning up after them...

I would suggest don't bring focus to this line of hers. It is intentionally added so that she can say she often called him baby and she didn't mean anything during that recording by Johnny. Had the attorney pressed on Heard calling him a baby, she would've won saying she calls him baby often without meaning much
Amber's obligation is only to herself. Her lack of self-reflection is evident. Narcissists are real masters at denying that they have harmed others. But when they feel harmed, or are really harmed, they make drama like it was practically an assassination attempt. However, as long as they are not victims themselves, they are fundamentally completely indifferent to the victims.
Always listen carefully how people talk about other individuals, cause that´s exactly the way how they will treat you, if you´re not around.

Sometimes you have to show the addict how low they’ve fallen. Seems cruel but tough love is sometimes necessary. Also, drugs hurt more than the user. Those who love the drug addict suffer greatly. She was looking for support and this was her way of showing those dear to her just how bad it got with him. Most people testify to his charm but the nearest to him saw him hit bottoms most aren’t privy to. I don’t think AH is innocent but I do think JD was reaching new lows. Doing drugs all your life will take a toll and feeling judged exacerbates the use because the shame is too much to bear

Just because that was true for you doesn’t mean she was in the same dynamic. Abusers are also not always equally violent. I’m a victim too and sometimes the smallest things have made him go off and other times, they’re relaxed and agreeable.
Notice when Johnny's attorney asked about pictures of Johnny, she almost said she didn't have any until his attorney pointed out that the jury had already seen them. This woman is driving me crazy!

Likely she put a burning cigarette in his hand, like she gave him the ice cream when she noticed he was nodding off (and he was nodding off not because he had been using something but because he had worked an extra-long day on a movie set).

What I can't understand about the ice cream photo is if the cup is pointed towards him, why is the ice cream spilling outward to the front of his lap but the cup is facing him? Wouldn't the ice cream have gone back towards him just off the simple base of gravity, and the ice cream would have gone on his shirt, And more than likely would have spread down the sides of his shirt? With him being asleep and the cup facing towards him it's odd to see that all of the liquid is spilling in front of him.
The woman questioning her is brilliant at letting certain moments of inconsistency and weakness just linger in the air for a few moments before moving onto the next question. Lawyers can be artists. 😄

Edit: I have experimented a fair bit with drugs. So has my now ex-girlfriend, if anyone of us would have seen the other in such a state the last thing you'd do is take photos ans send them to your friends(which amber has done instead of helping him)

If she had really feared for her life she would be living with her friend, moved, there would be photos of herself all beat up and the bruises on her face. It seems more to me that she is the culprit behind the scenes doing this, then over -exaggerating in her sighs, her cries, her bizarre expressions on her face in the court to project it onto Johnny and make it out like he's the one doing everything. Johnny's not perfect either, but she clearly is a little girl with a temper tantrum.
Camille is a woman I admire. She did an amazing job. I would want her as my attorney if I ever needed one. She was phenomenal in her cross examination of Heard.

‘On the nod’ simply means napping.
Amber’s understanding of these phrases is incorrect. Remember, she uses ‘donated’ and ‘pledged’ synonymously.
"Nodding off" refers to the nodding you do on opiates...it's a little different than napping, but still messed up of her to take a pic of that
@@dennischristopher9952 in the UK it is simply falling asleep for example at a boring sermon or lecture or any time you’re not really supposed to. The term comes from the nodding movement your head makes as you try to stop falling into a sleep.

Your response has nothing to do with what I wrote, but to suggest that what I am saying is "Not true" is a slap not only in my face, but to every other survivor I've spoken with and I don't appreciate it. Don't tell me what I and others lived was 'not true' - you have no right to do that.
What I said was that no one, no one who is actually in fear for their safety would ever say something like this. In my opinion, she broke character quite suddenly and when she said it, she said it defiantly which proved that she was never afraid and actually had no concept of being an actual victim beyond what she googled and tried to co-opt for her testimony.
This comes from my own experience and literally every single other survivor I have ever spoken with. If you weren't in fear then my response has nothing to do with your experience but if you think that a gaslit, broken person who's self-esteem has been eroded over time is going to stand up defiantly and exclaim "Why would it?!" then you have no understanding what it is like to actually be a victim, terrified for their life.

I honestly find it insane how she just expects to be believed, I dont know if you've seen it but there's a part in her testimony about how johnny basically some how pinned her to a bed by kneeling on her and was repeatedly punching her in the back of the head and the amount of pressure he was exerting with his other foot was enough to splinter a part of their bed frame. Now I'm no doctor but I doubt getting repeatedly punched in the back of the skull is good for the human body so you would expect some sort of major injury or even surgery after that but no she just had headaches for a few days after so either she's got bones of steel or it didn't happen, unless jd is so weak it barely did anything to her physically while still being able to break a bed frame and keep her pinned
