Recorded at The Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto, January 11th 2014. Featuring remastered audio, as the original circulated camera's audio capture is near unlistenable.
I'm so glad there's video of this historic occasion, Colm Wilkinson's only live performance as the Bishop of Digne.

Ramin is my favourite Valjean and it’s so cool to see him perform the role with Colm - not only the original Valjean, but also his idol growing up.
Also both were The Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera
@@aam93Except Ramin is better cast for that role than Colm. Colm however is one of the best Valjeans and Judas.

Definitely for Colm. This was for a charity event and he played it just once.
@@at1212b I think what I meant was did they sorta acknowledge each other as themselves (as in colm and rami n) not their characters? If that makes sense
@@leefriedman3067 I think that's a reasonable thought. Ramin has said in interviews that he barely held it together while sharing the stage with Colm, between his own fanboying and a sensation of Colm passing a mantle, so... how much of it was how the scene played out (which will tweak with any given performance in the normal run of things) and how much of it was Ramin and Colm peeping out from Valjean and the Bishop? Who knows. But yeah, it makes sense that there's more of a blend than usual.
