I love Medieval instrumental music and the songs of the Troubadours. There is something so pure about it, and it touches me deeply in my soul. Many thanks for this feast for my ears and spirit.❤️
Saw Miriam singing at the Early music festival of Tartu many years ago. Was as mesmerized as i am now. Her two colleagues have the perfect understanding of the era. Poets, wandering vagants and jugleurs in one.
For all Gen Xers - Am I only one who saw Cortney Love in the title? lol As a music over I can appreciate and be a fan of medieval AND post punk at the same time :)
Cette musique, dans l'esprit, me rappelle tellement la mienne, loin des rivages stériles de la musique "new age" Allez-y voir vous-mêmes si vous ne voulez pas me croire 🤠
Dear MarchVivo follower: your point can’t be more appropriate. You are completely right. Thanks for pointing this out. The title has now been corrected, as they are certainly two very different types of love. Best wishes, the MarchVivo Team
Le hemos preguntado al director del Ensemble Leones y esta es su respuesta: “The bagpipe that Baptiste used in the concert does not have a real historical name. The maker calls it: Boha polifonica”. Espero que aclare tus dudas.
We have just realised that the archive with the English surtitles was mistaken. Apologise. We’ll try to upload it a.s.a.p., but it may not be possible until late August due to holidays. Thanks for letting us know.
For the thousands of you who have shown interest in this video, we have added the languages of all these vocal pieces composed some 1000 years ago. There are five different early languages: Old Danish, Old French, Occitan, Middle High German and Early New High German. (Luckily, surtitles in English and Spanish make it accesible to nowadays listeners). Have fun!
This music truly comes alive.

If you are a writer and looking for inspiration turn on the german auto translation/subtitle feature 😸
Video title says “Courtesan love”. “Courtly love” is meant”? Courtesan love is something very different

Thank you for sharing this beautiful performance. Unfortunately, the English subtitles aren't English.
