Wow this really gave my faith in humanity. The fact that there are people out there like these podcasters trying to ask difficult questions to build self awareness for improvement in relationships. I’m a very loyal , nurturing woman , and I started to worry that masculine men are going out of style and don’t need women like me anymore. This podcast gave me faith that if these conversations are happening, and you are getting clicks on these conversations; then there are most likely still people out there who are willing to work on their relationships. Gives me faith ❤

I don’t agree at all with her, saying, a businessman needs a business woman who is intellectual to have common conversations. I think when a man comes home from a hard day of work, he does not care to talk to her about his business and work and he also doesn’t care to hear about how Karen from the office was getting on her nerves today he doesn’t care about her day like that. He wants to come home to peace, quiet, relaxing, femininity, and a nice cooked meal not sharing stories about their day at work when he comes home he’s done with work. He doesn’t wanna talk about it anymore. He wants to relax. Also saying that women who stay home are not intellectual, I highly disagree with that. women that decided to stay home and raise their children doesn’t mean they’re not intellectual and can’t have intelligent conversations.

So he doesnt need other person at all, he can be at peace on his own and order takeaway as warm meal. No human being should be treated like a maid or househelp in relationship where hers day or thoughts or expierience doesnt matter at all and she is waiting like a dog for her housband to get little pat at the back and then sit silently in the corner. Tou would really treat your partner like that? Of course you need someone who match you intelectually and has her own life going on. The most lonely and unhappy women are those in marriages where they are treated like halfhumans, only to take care of child and kitchen. It was like that in the 1950 and the level of alcoholism among them were crazy!!

    • @AM-ut7dg
      @AM-ut7dg Год назад +29

I don’t think she is referring to conversations about Karen from the office. She means that the person needs to at least be a good conversation partner for you. What is the point of coming home to someone everyday whom you can’t even talk to? The growth of your connection is going to plateau.

I'm a female entrepreneur (i have my own consultancy company) and I work daily with male CEOs that are scaling their companies. And she is 100% right. In their younger years they want a loving, caring "mother" for their kids (and themselves). But I see time and time again that these men feel like they cannot fully be themselves and cannot express themselves with a partner who does not understand their challenges (and can be empathic about it) and where they have a sounding board for the emotional side of the job. Leading to quite a lot of divorces in their 40s.
Also a woman who is truly intellectual (IQ over 130) won't be a stay-at-home mom. It would drive her crazy.

How strange that the biggest problem or lack we have on this planet is intimacy, when there are so many of us humans around! Sadia you are so right...I think it was brave of you to even mention that men might be looking at porn even but still be looking for emotional intimacy....truth is, nothing is sexier than a genuine desire or emotional expression coming from a woman, and yet in such short supply...everything is this "performance" etc and women think they know what they are expected to look/sound like...ugh, I think the cutest thing I've ever heard with a woman was an unintentional little squeal..certainly nothing she was taught she should sound like, but it was so authentic I just adored it (summary: men cherish intimacy, though we mask it with bravado and what have you...nailed it with this interview Sadia, and Darren well done sir)

My mind is overwhelmed with memories of our time together. The thought that I’ll never experience the little things with him again is so painful. 1:07:25 The women who accept cheating husband tend to be emotionally detached from their husband. They are likely to *expect their husbands to betray them*.
Because they know they are an option, and there is competing interest outside for the same resource, so they can not truly rely 100% on the husband’s loyalty. This resolves them to seek *stable* resources elsewhere.

This is so true, I didn't start off that way with my (now ex) husband but if you don't leave when they cheat you have to force yourself to emotionally detach to survive. By the time it ended (several affairs later) I was so indifferent to him that I honestly wouldn't have cared if he lived or died except for the fact that I would have felt sorry for the kids.

And Sadia , I have watched some of your other videos, thank you so much for everything you are doing to help people around the world understand themselves and other people better
If you ever need ideas to videos you want to make (if you haven't done so already) , I would like to know more about the following subjects:
Becoming a challenge to a man
Different personality types men have (avoidant, sensational , independent etc)
How variety creates passion in a relationship (how to do that?)
And most importantly: how to create a deep emotional connection with a man (and can you do that with a player ?)
    Thank you ❤

Yes, men crave emotional intimacy but most women don’t want most men. Women have been conditioned by social media and dating apps, as you stated. An average man is contemptible when there are millionaires hunks out there. To make matters worse when one of these dream guys sleep with them they feel there’s a chance maybe they can BE with them. It hardly ever happens. Time and time again women choose solitude over being with an average man even if they’re an average woman.

I think your one of the few voice on social media that values human reasoning and empirical evidence unbiased as opposed to the clout chasing of most voice on social media claiming to give men and women ‘advice’ that is nothing more than extorting people for views in order to boast their social media likes and bank balance. But of course your more rigorous and of a greater analytical depth than the others because you have the academic training to contextualise the subject matter as opposed to been an internet troll and look for controversy in order to be famous and wealthy

Most likely, she was what men call 304 when you met her and it wasn't a problem. You still chased her and pursued.

That makes me think of engineers and software developers, who have to be far more logical and analytical at work than CEOs. And there are so many of us -- something like 7 million in the US alone!

I knew a woman who was a webcam model/chat girl. She used to date musicians and celebrities. She did some stripping for 20 years. When I met her she was chronically ill and trying to get a boy toy😑. She found out how to use filters for webcam modeling. She's also using a filter on Instagram. She was constantly being evicted, couldn't keep a steady relationship and spent thousands on cosmetic surgeries. I met her when I was working retail. She told me I was pretty and could make more money. I was young and thought she was helping me😢. I'm glad we became "friends" and she told me what she really had going on. I left the friendship. I never got into that "game".
