I know this might sound oppressive and misogynist but I do look at a girl as part of my kingdom. But I take pride in my kingdom. I protect my kingdom. I take care of my kingdom. For that to be enjoyable you must love the person to the extent that their happiness and contentment is your own. I see that with my own parents and grandparents. My mothers smile means the world to my father. He values her as his equal in all regards and greater in many. Young people do not value companionship, they do not want it, they want a drama filled adrenaline rush. Young girls joke online about picking fights for the sake of it. If you compare work and relationships, you'll often find similarities. Just like a job interview (first date), then getting together (getting the job) spending 2-5 years in that job, getting a promotion (marriage) spending another 5 years promoted, of course things will get boring and monotonous eventually. That's just routine. The first day on a job is always more exciting than day 458 on a job. Sometimes it's good to just appreciate what is. There's ways to fall in love all over again by spicing things up for sure but it can't always be like that.

I love what Sadia said at the 33min mark about how women can find a good man. Growing up with divorced parents I watched my dad have the worst toxic arguments with whoever he's dating or married to after my mom. Watching all of that made me terrified of facing conflict in a relationship so whenever I had fights with my exes, I would dump them after the first fight :(
But then I met my boyfriend and he's very calm and fair during our fights. Even if he's mad at me he would still give me time to explain my view of the conflict, we rarely raise our voice at eachother(and if we do, we apologize within 24 hours), and since technically I'm living under his roof, he still offers to take the couch if we can't find a solution before bed. No immature silent treatment or trying to get "revenge" just to piss me off in the moment. No broken glasses. He makes the inevitable conflicts in any long term relationship a safe space to disagree. I feel so loved and feel so good for finding someone emotionally healthier than my parents.

Love that point at 21:58 about how society trickles down to relationships and our tendency to get everything faster, cheaper better also makes us want to dispose of relationships. Very interesting observation. I wonder what are some tips to help with this.

"The men set the tone." Exactly. Unfortunately, many Western men are starting to migrate to foreign dating pools and bringing their Western values with them, and diluting the traditional values of other countries, rewarding bad behavior everywhere they go.

@@GangusBong1 I'm in total agreement with the overall discussion, just pointing out an unfortunate glaring contradiction in the behavior of some (not all) passport bros. perhaps you haven't seen the videos of some passport bros in other countries partying with scantily clad women. Between the music, the alcohol, the clothes, and the exhibitionism, you would think they were right here in the good 'ol usa. Can't tell the difference between the values of the women here and the values of some of the women in so-called traditional cultures. I'm not the one who is tone-deaf, or rude.

    • @LeJa-ks1vc

It’s not about always trying to fix boredom with more excitement. ACCEPT that life/marriage gets boring and that feeling is okay. When you go through life avoiding boredom/stillness and searching for the next exciting/active thing you’ll constantly do that forever. And never feel fulfilled. Chasing constantly is far more miserable than stillness if you ask me.

The ease that the speaker Miss sadia is referring to is what she doesn't understand. Its called grace of a higher power. Like we all are not built with same destiny and same purpose. Hardworking is important but some people just doing the work with out it been hard is also important. The most important is doing something and your grace will speak for you. Its on a spiritual level and people won't understand it. It also could be seeds sown by your four fathers on your lineage but it goes deeper. Which is why you should always find a safe haven in the spirit. Whatever happens in your reality physically already occurred in the spirit. You could also tell she is off a spiritual bearing and respect core values of life. She also cherish educating people it shows from her body language as she speaks. Great podcast and amazing conversation.
