Not surprised here. The newest model Jeeps are designed by FIAT. It started with the Renegade and has continued. When your parent company schleps their designs here, and they have given up selling their cars here, what do you think was going to happen? The temp worker situation is just a preview of what corporate america will be doing now. Why hire someone for 40 hours and benefits when you can hire 2 temps without most of the benefits?

watch the suppliers start layoffs due to just in time manufacturing. More mass layoffs to follow as vehicles start piling up on dealership lots. It was bound to happen

Goes to show you culture of this company couldn’t even delay layoff announcement for 2 more weeks to give those workers a good Christmas holiday. Who can enjoy a holiday knowing you’ll be OUT OF A JOB shortly after Christmas. Normal operating cost for a standard business could cause you to go into the red as far as profit for certain years; not them they layoff their operating cost b4 they take any losses.

They are going to get their sub pay which is about 85% so they are probably breaking even not having to drive to work and spend money on gas.

What will be the company name after Stellantis? It regularly restructures and changes, maybe Hyundai Stellantis?

Lmao UAW workers thought it would just be raises, sunshines, and rainbows. You guys picked the wrong time to strike. Sales are in the toilet.

That's right, jobs are shifting to plants that make electric vehicles. Tesla is hiring. Too bad Ohio is full of backwards thinking conservatives or, we might have some more of those Tesla jobs here.

republicans just voted with dems for 866 billion dollar defense budget. How stupid are you to think any of them care about you?
