Shadow Ball and Alluring Voice are nice, those traits make slapping Specs on it so free. If it had just a bit more coverage (maybe Psychic, Grass Knot or Earth Power) and if it had better speed (say 90 or 95), this little snow fox would absolutely cook

A lot of people are upset about the genned pokemon, but a lot of people's pokemon who do competitive battles for youtube are genned. You can make a pokemon the slow way too to have the exact same stats because genned pokemon don't outperform naturally trained pokemon -- they don't get any sort of hacked boosts. It just cuts out a lot of time that you'd have to spend buying the vitamins and whatnot. But if you don't know how to use the pokemon then it's still useless. That said I understand why some people don't like to use genned pokemon (more rewarding to train them up yourself even if you have to grind for some money to get the items you need) just as I understand why some people do (saves a lot of time and you can get full teams ready in minutes without worrying about resources/money in-game).
I think the main difference in view is that when you play in competitive, you do need the rapid turnaround for meta shifts that would require many hours and catches to get the specific iv spread you are building for; casual play, on the other hand, is more about having fun and playing with a team you have built up on your own. Bringing in hacked mons to casual play gives off the vibe that you only care about winning, but aren't good enough to actually play competitive successfully, so you feel the need to flaunt these hacked versions of pokemon that casual players spend hours finding and building up to feel better than them.
There's a difference between genning to save time, and genning because you think you're guaranteed to win. You know that person is a kid who got a bunch of gennned mons on surprised trade thinking they hit the jackpot
My only issue is that they PAID for those genned mons lol They could've found a sysbot discord or smthn but instead fell for the scam that is those websites. Either that or they got all these mons from surprise trading and just threw them all together
Haydunn, you are honestly one of the best PokeTubers out there, much respect to you for trying unique ideas outside the Meta. I remember back in gen 4 I built a doubles team where I set up hail and trick room, then spammed blizzard with choice specs Glaceon. It actually worked pretty well.
The main and major problem to that is that competitively, 95% of the time in the opponent’s team you also have now a big weather set up Pokémon like Kyogre, Koraidon or Tornadus, especially in doubles, making staying in the snow really really hard tbh. What we need today is a fast AND big ice attacker that put snow on the field to make it still competitive. Ice is better than before for sure, but it’s still behind sun and rain teams for sure for the moment sadly
