Maybe that's why the opponent's Meowscarada was also slower than Ninetales? Maybe it's built to be able to outrun opposing Meowscarada or generally fast pokemon under trick room?
I wonder if someone at GameFreak just didn't like Leafeon, because its' movepool in the Generation it came out in was ABSOLUTE TRASH. And like, it's still got a trash moveset even five Generations later, don't get me wrong, but it's FINALLY starting to actually get a few good moves.
Flareon was much worse. Even after the Physical/Special split it didn't get Flare Blitz until Gen 6!! And it's not even a great move because of the recoil. Leafeon has actually had Leaf Blade since it first arrived so at least it has a usable STAB!
@@stevenleonmusicwith the new move temper flare, Flareon is in a better spot (not as good as it should be but hey a 150 bp move with, fire stab, sun boosted, and add on a flash fire and there are you have a serious threat on your jands)it just needs its HP swapped with its special attack as it has 110 sp def making it pretty bulky on the special side of things.

It might be a great idea to just fuse together some of your older videos and called them Supercuts or Movies at 5+ hours in length. I definitely would put them in my sleep playlist.

Leafeon is my favorite Pokemon. Every time a new game comes out, the first thing I do is check if they updated its movepool. Honestly, to me, mostly all the Eveelutions need access to decent or a better variety of moves
I've been using Leafeon with a grassy seed to boost his defense even more, using Arboliva or Rillaboom to get the terrain set up before giving him that defensive boost to just make him a physical monster
One of my Scarlet runs was an all-Eevolution team (named after Fruits Basket characters) AND THIS THING ATEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I was shocked. My girl almost always led the party to choose violence and be a menace. Probably one of my most fun lineups!
A few generations ago, the main use I found for leafeon was to take out the garchomps and tyranitars that were everywhere. No one expected a leaf blade to oko a garchomp after a bulk up or with a life orb.
My cool looking lettuce cat will always be my fave eeveeluion it's the only eeveelution along with glaceon and umbreon i actually use in my playthroughs

It’s been awhile since I played competitive but I used to run a Leafeon on my Gen 5 sun team with scope lens for Leaf Blade crits and swords dance, it’s hype to see that solar blade gives it more options in terms of items and movepool
speaking on the effects of cold water sapping your strength at around a minute and a half in, have you ever had to try and exert yourself after jumping into icy water? one of the dangers that kills people who do fall in icy water if its not cold enough to kill you quickly to exposure is drowning if they cant get to something to help keep them afloat since it saps your energy like mad.
Leafeon is such an underrated Pokemon despite it being an Eeveelution. I love putting in work with this fox, particularly on sun teams. Set up Swords Dance, be fast w/ Chlorophyll, and heal off whatever Life Orb damage with boosted Synthesis. It’s real good at doing damage

Leafeon has one of the best stat distributions out of the eeveelutions, mostly because he's one of those that didn't get their speed stat fucked over. That deceptively strong physical bulk combined with decent speed and attack, makes it so that it's safer to set him up. It's pure grass typing also help with countering most common offensive types. Resistant to ground and high def walls moves like headlong rush and earthquake. It's neutral against fighting but that def stat comes in to play again, because there are very few special fighting moves. But alas, it's cursed by the fact that the eeveelutions have a very limited move pool.

I try to always get one of every eevee-lution, a ralts, a growlith, some kind of caterpillar pokémon, at least 2 water types who aren't fish, magikarp, feebas, at least 2 bird pokémon of any type, charmander and i also look for at minimumof 2 dual types then the rest is random.

I absolutely Love Leafeon! It was the first Eeveelution I've ever gotten. I was playing Pokemon shield and used the Leaf Stone you can find in Tuffield near the Stones. Great work once again Haydunn!
