Tracii looked so much healthier than today I think. Family life at that point maybe, don't know.. Anyway - Love this guy no matter what.
Back when I was doing some music journalism, I got to hang out with Tracii, Phil, Kelly and Steve several times over the years and they were always sooooo super kind to me... They are the real deal! Thank you Tracii!!!! God bless 🙏
Yes . Traci guns is humble and awesome as a guitar player . Seeing them in Knoxville Tuesday .
Excellent Episode! I'll see you tonight!
When Tracii said Elvis that made me love him even more. Nice choice.
Love the Hughes and kettner rigs. Love my Grandmeister 40.
In the winter of '92 I saw the "original" LA Guns opening up for Skid Row, in the south of the Netherlands. In 2007, I was lucky to spend some time with Tracii's version of LA Guns. And again it was in the Netherlands. I had never met one of my guitar heroes ... it was a life experience.
Cool!
THANK YOU Very Much!!! Ryan Roxie and TRACII GUNS!!! 🆒 EPISODE TODAY!!! 🎸💥🔥
Thanks for watching ;)
@@RyanRoxieOfficial 🎧💥🆒!!!
I bought the Headrush only because Tracii talked about it on youtube when he was showing his live set up. Then I saw his "how do you headrush" video as well. Bought it and before I even tried it, i immediately downloaded the Tracii artist pack.. It sounds amazing..
My favorite episode so far!
Great show!! I live right down the street on McCadden from the studios you mentioned. Been living here for years. Crazy thing is Phil Lewis use to live on the 1st floor The World is a small place. Im also friends with London Le Grand
Appears I got around to exploring L.A. Guns about three years ago. Seems longer than that. I forget what got me to finally check them out. This was my first time seeing his personality . . . and intelligence.
This interview drives home even more that era of great guitar heroes didn't die with Eric Clapton, Peter, Green, Jimi Hendrix and Jimi Hendrix(oh yes, and Jeff Beck! and plenty more Before them was B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Otis Rush Freddie Kng, Guitar Slim, amongst others). I mean we had Eddie Van Halen, Micki Mars, George Lynch, Richie Sambora, Tom Kiefer, amongst plenty of others. The Cult guitarist. I almost forgot Stevie Ray Vaughn.
I'm talking about blue-rock. The 80s was kind of over-shadowed with the neo-classical shredd guitarist wave with Yngwie Malmsteen, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai. I liked a few that were able to mix them - Adrian Vandenberg and Alex Masi. I thnk the Glam rock label kind of over-shadowed a lot of these guys.
Once again, this interview hit home that the 80s wasn't so bad. Well, people complain that "rock is dead" today, after complaining about Glam rock back then! Blues Rock has gone to the Women.
Tracii, is the shit!!! Come see us again in Salt Lake City- LA Guns!
❤❤❤ stop by Colorado on the way!
Excellent IV ( Again !)
Thanks!

Thanks for supporting!
Wow. Tracii is a very talented and knowledgable person. That is so awesome and this interview is awesome. Tracii seems pretty laid back. Totally enjoyed this interview. 👍
Love this! I’d love to see one with Kelly Nickels too!!
Cool one
I wouldn't exactly call myself a member of the KISS Army either, but I have some KISS nostalgia (Kisstalgia hehe) from high school because I used to listen to them a lot when I was just getting into rock music, mostly songs from Dynasty, but a little bit from Psycho Circus, Dressed to Kill, and some other songs from albums I can't think of right now, but got from radios on Spotify. Also the movie Scooby Doo and KISS: Rock n' Roll Mystery is hilariously bizarre to watch and has easter eggs from various KISS songs peppered in there. On a different note, maybe Tracii's dream band exists in another dimension somewhere if multiple realities are a thing.👽
It was a great one. Thank you for it!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great Show:)Top Drawer Stories from the Hollywood of Yesteryear,Fairfax High bands&such.Mr. Guns,Please make more Christmas music!?Your Silent Night has an almost Hawaiian vibe to it?Always Be Well Ryan&Tracci:)
Thanks!
Did Ryan play with Gilby Clarke? I randomly had this podcast on and was like why’s this guy seem familiar? I partied with him and Gilby in Tampa in like 1996 lol
my GNR fantasy lineup inlcudes Traci, Slash and Axl.
This was a fantastic interview Ryan. Traci is such a nice guy. You have a great channel.
Thanks so much!
Mick mars, short solos that fit the songs perfectly. No bs noodling.
Tracy guns. Coolest knows rnr like Noone else go bro Michael sweet that's so great cool ya gotta hear that eweet is the best. I ever heard. Ever great to hear it. Crazy. Ya
Tracii is a genius
Tracii is definitely a monster guitar player, so many killer riffs and songs. They had everything going back then. I always wondered what kept them from going to the next level. They are so much better than say, poison. but never got that success. Maybe it was this ego problem some members seem to have, js. The therimin on malaria is badass.
Hey Bruv, thanks for the video, great insight! Can you provide a link to your book, I really want to read it. Thanks
J
Artists Worldwide got a mention!
TRACII ROCKSSSSSSS
Love ❤️ him❤
Hey Ryan, what local bands did you play in when you were living in the Bay Area?
Gilby!
Traci doesn't appear to suffer from any anxiety while in front of cameras... not sure what's that all about.
Gilby Clark the biggest poser since Johnny Depp
I always wondered if Tracii is a fan of Dimebag Darrell Abbot and Zakk Wylde?
I had a poster from kerrang magazine, here in the uk, of killing machine. Traci & Riley looked cool as fuck.
Never got to hear any music.
Riley did the space age playboys with Kory Clarke.
Not the best.
Opened for warrior soul in Croydon, London & he was so fucked, he was trying to sign cds for me, when I’d asked him to move his shit so I could get mine & go home.

Believe this is the guitar Tracii referenced
Yes every one that ever is. The best are self taught none of them play real chords
Mitch John Paul buddy Holly Alvin Lee
Tracii looks annoyed and trying his best to stay straight faced.
when Tracii's talking people who think it's all about the guitar. I can't help but think he's referring to Yngwie. haha. can't write a catchy tune to save his life.
So why did you steal the songs from Paul, 1st and 2nd albums he basically wrote all the songs.
Money is how people with no talent keep score.
He said " do do"for
