I met Billy back in the mid 90’s at Hauer music in dayton, Ohio. He did a bass instruction seminar and met one by one with everyone afterwords. I was the last one in line, so we stood and talked for about 30 minutes without them having to push me along. I felt like I was talking to a lifelong friend. He seemed sincerely as interested in me and my gear as I was in his. And I have a feeling we could have talked even longer but I was late getting home. Ugh😢. (I was a teenager and it was before cell phones and texting.) In a world where some people meet their idols and are let down, Billy’s personalism made me an even bigger fan and has inspired me even more. (He even grabbed his bass and showed me some stuff one on one for a few minutes.) Decades later that day seems like yesterday!!! Billy, thank you for that day and being such an inspiration to so many! You’re truly one of a kind!
Billy Just turned 71 on March 19th... Happy Birthday Billy!
Beautiful!🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸
Wow that was amazing 🤘🤘🤘🤘❤️
Thanks for watching!
I saw Mr Big in their first Irish show ever in Dublin 2012 - can’t wait for this year!
Seen Mr Big 2009/12 and now this year!
Met Billy a few times from gigs and clinics. Awesome guy.
I'm really glad I got to see Billy play with Roth and Mr. Big. Definitely an exceptional player!
Another great insightful interview, Billy, is one of the very best bass players to see perform live. I've been lucky enough to meet him a couple of times, and the Mr Big show was one of the best shows I've seen so far this year. ❤
Totally enjoyed this ride brother, thanx! 🤘🎸🤘
Thanks! I appreciate 🙏
Super Awesome Coolest Soooo Fun show🔥❤️😍🤘🏻
Such a great interview as usual today❤ 0:46 0:49
Thanks!!
Winery Dogs are Brilliant. Kotzen is incredible.
Absolutely. I prefer Kotzen to Gilbert. Both are great but Kotzen's style is more my cup of tea. I prefer Winery Dogs to Mr. Big as well. Better songwriting and Richie has a great voice. Great band.
This was another great episode Ryan i enjoyed it❤❤❤❤.
Ha! Thanks ;)
I will say he does respond also. I absolutely love and respect Billy Sheehan!
I really enjoyed the show Thanks 🙏 💜⚡️👋👋👋 REALLY INFORMATIVE AND FUN 👏👏👏
Man I first saw Billy on the eat em and smile tour with Dave. Now that was a super group with Vai. He's always been one of my favs. Grew up in syracuse, Buffalo wasn't far.
Amazing!!
Great interview 🤩
Ryan Roxie....thank you for shuffling across my IG...😂
Haven't seen Billy since the 80's always enjoyed his talents 🤘Thx Ryan
Can you mention the band Talas that got him where he is and got him noticed by david lee roth when they opened up for van halen in buffalo
💯💯💯💯💯💯
Steve Stevens 👏🤟
Yeah, we talked Steve Stevens too 😎
🤘🏻
Al Pitrelli auditioned to replace Vai in DLR's band after Skyscraper. We all know who got the gig.
Pitrelli was Tremendous in Widowmaker. Real good band.
@@DiBiasehere I knew Al. I haven't seen him in ages. He's a fantastic guitar player.
Overand Watts was Tremendous.
Good job, just caught up... Never heard of this guy, but a black cat lover and U2 endorsed😮 wow, what's not to like? I've tried 1 word answer rounds on Reignite... never happens ha 😂
Love Ya Bill. Same here, "The Guys a great Player, but doesnt sing...Next." lol. Bill does it ALL with Chops to die for.
Thanks everyone! Thanks Billy! (Just open the door and your heart...and another cat will adopt you. That's how it works here.)
Sweet ;)
This is an example of when an interviewer can’t “read the mood”.
Billy didn't catch Ryan's joke that he was, "Such a Paganini ripoff ".
Ha!
I heard Billy cutt off that ponytail..
