Love L.A. Guns. Especially Tracii’s playing. And he’s one of those guys who started out great, yet continually gets better and better over the years. Badass player. Cool interview. Thanks!

I think his playing is so great I think his musicality is great plus he plays to the song he isn’t just worried about his solo his flash he’s so great so underrated. He’s a honest bluesy just pure rock n roll metal edge and hard hitting tone along sleazy and some classical undertones Tracii guns is one of my favorite players ever

I was at the Cardi's (Houston), Helstar was direct support and Pantera was the house band that week, so they opened the show. Terry was on vocals. Great night! I have a lot of great memories from that show.

Savvys was on Lancaster st. In East Ft. Worth. Starting around 84 or 85 Sweet Savage was just packing that place for the weekend. Pantera did play there during Glaze era but the owners were not kind to, or book local heavy original bands, even Pantera had to sneak originals into their cover set. You had to play covers unless you were a established touring band.

I just discovered you guys' channel. First one is Tracii f'in Guns!!! I agree he's 💯under rated but the man is so humble, he deserves much more. I always go see L.A. Guns when they come to Canyon Club and of course The Whisky.

Why don't you ask "honest honorable" Phil or Tracii WHY they blatantly STOLE Paul Mars Black's music (with help from Tracii Ulrich-Guns' help of course) and then proceeded to change some lyrics and call it his own. The band then used majority of that stolen material to create (and sell loads of) their first album. But that's not all. Phil continues to this day to badmouth, run down, and demean Paul Black's artistic talents, his singing ability, and his so called "reason for being kicked out of L.A. Guns years ago", in the media. To this day, this guy Lewis is sooo insecure and ungrateful for what he was literally handed on a silver platter, he can't help himself from discreditting the guy he replaced and stole music from. Phil wasn't satisfied with just stealing Black's songs, his vocal style, and his place as lead singer of L.A. Guns. That wasn't enough. He actually has the audacity to criticize Black (unprovoked) for years everywhere in the media. Paul's life, his career (being buried in lawsuits for years over the stolen songs cost him any chance to further his musical way with later bands), his everything was destroyed by L.A. Guns, and specifically the band's label,Tracii, Phil, and even Steve Riley later on. These guys are as dishonest, disrespectful, and pathetic of human beings as you can ever find. Yet their "fans" gloss over all the bands' shortcomings and act as if they are some class act. This band has had absolutely NO integrity or care or respect for other musicians or human beings in general. And I am only making reference to thir horrible treatment of Paul Mars Black. L.A. Guns has hurt, mistreated, and betrayed MANY other musicians/artists over the years. But hey, they must think that their rewriting of their own history/past/bio will cover their asses for all the horrible things they've done and all the people they used and hurt over the years...>

Personally I think instead of everyone being replaced in G&R accept for Axle everyone in G&R should have replaced Axle with Jason McMaster 😐

Tracii said he doesn't have anyone around him to question anything. No one to give input, advice, direction... Simply no real producer. Talks about it's all recorded at home nowadays, no rush.
That all seems cool to so it on your own time and take as much time as you think is needed.
However, the more I listen to recoded music released the past 15 years or so, it's trash. Perhaps bands need thst addition input. Perhaps the pressure you feel in an expensive studio adds value.
Whatever it is, music has become less balanced and it basically is garbage compared to the 20th century.
