Ooooh this reminds me of my childhood. My parents house is on a small hill surrounded by neighbors below us. Once, we were accidentally flooding one of our neighbors below from lazily watering our gardens (leaving the hose running and forgetting about it).
What did we do? Well we became more responsible and considerate of course, and helped him fix his gardens. He took a lot of pride in his veggie gardens and it would be a shame for his hard work work to be ruined by a bunch of lazy teenagers. Later we got an XL Steel pool, and when we used to dismantle it, we siphoned it into one of the nearby drains to protect the neighbor. Doesn't hurt to care about others.
