My only critique on her part was the contraceptive thing, never trust someone else with your sexual health; if they are a doctor or not, keep yourself safe

*Sigh* If I have to hear one more grown adult bring up the "pull out method" I'm going to scream. Birth control or condoms should be the only thing in the conversation about preventing pregnancy. If your partner brings up pulling out and won't budge on it, break up with them. They're either an idiot or they're trying to get pregnant.

I think it's easier for the older people to just ignore the topic & the young people (14 & less) probably understood it as a creepy guy that brittani ended up with, but not really understand the true depth of her story. Chuck E Cheese was an easier topic to talk about, ya know?

You tuber 123 I liked it. The subject is extremely heavy, especially for those that are not used to hearing about the topic. He always edited it in such a way that as soon as it was getting too heavy it would change topics. It was annoying at first, but it served as a way to keep people entertained and keep the video from getting to heavy.

I think the cover of the book is used to emphasise that relationships may look happy, jolly, and wonderful in the outside---but there's some difficulties that two or individuals may experience, even perhaps as disturbing as her story.
I think it's a book cover clickbait actually, that would entice teenagers to buy it because of the cover and tell her story.

Before watching Shane’s video I was catfished by a guy, then after watching his video I actually deleted my dating apps off my phone. At this point I’d rather meet/date someone i know in person than over text messages.

I think for the first time I'm subscribed to a drama channel that is cultured.
The second issue, online dating, hits home. I was groomed online by an American when I was 11, and it's left me traumatised. He said he was 16, turns out he may have been 21. He knew my social media, my town, a lot of things. He lied that he was in the military, and wanted me to travel to America or help him organise coming to the UK. He promised to help me get over my vulnerabilities and problems, but he just added to them. The things he got to do me over camera where inappropriate for my age, and he made me keep it secret from my parents, which I did for a whole year. And it's not always on dating apps or phone social media, this occurred on Xbox. I luckily got out okay before it went further; you need to be careful online, yes not everyone has ill intentions, but keep in mind the signs on both issues and act with precaution. Please be safe out there!

They just kept pushing her book which is great, yay I'm glad for you having written about your experience and all but to spend money in order to get insight on something there are OFFICIAL SOURCES FOR is kind of a slap to the face to people struggling with this irl. okay, she was 'in love'. I'm sure she knew that if you pull out you can still get pregnant, but at that time I think she just wasn't thinking straight. I mean, she was in a terrible relationship and she was kinda scared so I think she just went along with it. I also think that she trusted him a lot more since he was a 'doctor'.
