I want to incorporate microneedling but I don't want to use minoxidil. What are ur thoughts? Will I still see some benefit if I do microneedling without minoxidil?

Man thx for this video. I'm sadly late to the party and just found out about this dermaroling dermapen, minoxidil therapy topic. And in a research phase yet. I'm blond and had a hair transplant too on the top crown and front side and now my hair is going thinner and and the back side started to bald too. To the point where if there is a light source above me or in summer times i look completely bald since the light is shining through my hair. I had already an appointment for a next hair transplant but found out about this microneedling. Thank you for showing how to handle the DermaPen. I saw also an other vid (ruclips.net/video/_UA9ezl9o-w/видео.html) where the guy used circular movement. Is this also possible? Is somehow hard for me to imagine. Also awesome work buddy with the hairstyle and how you cover the thinned hair on top. Nobody could spot it. Only indicator was after you made your hair wet. :) I think i have to look into this hair fiber topic.
I’m new to derma rolling and am starting tonight with a 1.5mm on a couple of thin patches on my front peaks areas & my thinning crown. I’m putting Vicks vapour rub on after for 15 mins. I’ve read lots of good things about the menthol & eucalyptus in the rub that is great for the head after needling.

@@letsgethair no worries mate it happens. Do you reckon ketoconazole shampoo could work in place of the topical? I'm kinda hoping that plus microneedling could work (won't be as effective as monoxidil but I'm kinda uneasy about using something like it). Really appreciate the responses btw!

Mate let me help you get back to norwood 1 . 1mg finasteride 1mg oral minoxidil to make sure sulfatranferase takes place through first pass metabolism in the liver turning it into minoxidil sulphate which is the compound that stimulates hair growth. If you cannot get oral minoxidil get minoxidil compounded with 0.01% tretinoin and 0.03% latanoprost this will increase sulfatranferase activity in the scalp and help metabolize minoxidil if you were a non responder. Micro needle once a week at 1.5mm depth Take a topical anti androgen as well such as ketanconazol or RU58841 NO finasteride is not an anti androgen it is a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor which prevents the reduction of testosterone to DHT . DHT is significantly more androgenic which causes miniaturization of the hair follices so finasteride helps with that , however the androgen receptors on the scalp can still get latched onto with testosterone and cause miniaturization hence you take a topical anti androgen as well. And finally take a PGE2 agonist like 1-2ml oral castor oil Or a PGD2 inhibitor to prevent folicular hypoxia. I have given you the key to curing baldness, now please delete your channel and go start reading at least 60 research papers regarding hair fall treatment and regeneration before you ever think of starting a channel where you give people advice on things you clearly know zilch about. This is my gift to you.
*sulfotransferase* not sulfatranferase. And *ketoconazole* not ketanconazole. If you really want to school someone - assuming you really have to - at least get the name of the enzymes and the drugs right. Also, "sulfatranferase takes place through first pass metabolism" does not make any sense. It is the sulfation of minoxidil that can take place in the liver, sulfotransferases are just the enzymes that catalyze that reaction. If you really want to read 60 research papers, at least make sure you understand what they say.

dennis13 dennis13+ I just read castor oil can be applied immediately. I'll be adding rosemary oil as well.
Is this be effective if a Burn Scar on scalp?
What did you store the pin in? Which solution is it?
What y’all use for pain
Where can I buy microneedling? I’m from Europe..
Should I use oils after micro needling?
Good job recommending a licensed dermatologist because thats seriously a DIY procedure in itself that needs medical assessment.
Is it working or what?
Can use the derma pen in a circular motion ?
can about 36 or 42 pins cartridge, will it yield better result?
Where did you get that little container for the pen needle?
Olbas oil shoild be better!
@@beslemeto nothing worked. Now wearing a completely undetectable hair system
Peppermint essential oil would be better for u
@@Fd20ydid you try minoxidil?
Have you seen any benefits dermarolling
genuine question matt, do you think it works? and have you seen results? im considering giving it a try myself.
I feel like shaved head boys will never understand HT or wig boys, the same way women will never understand men or towa.
@@letsgethair not really sure what your getting at. I've bought a derma pen anyways, hopefully ill see some results.
@@conradmilligan sorry. Happens sometimes if I respond to too many comments at once. Some responses are being assigned to different comments. This response wasn't meant for you. Yes, it works but you need to combine it with Minoxidil or topical Dutasteride (what I am testing). Microneedling on its own promotes all the factors mentioned in the video but I am a bit skeptical how it can slow down hair loss on itself without additional topical use
@@conradmilligan did it help bro?
Can i use 0.5 mm twice aweek
And 1mm once aweek ??
With minoxidil 5% solution???
do the needles cut the hairs?
Hi Matt,Thanks for your useful video, i wanted to know what will happen if i don't use minoxidil 24 hours after using dermaroller or micro needling?
spontaneous Death

Hair looks great, what size cartridge do you use?
1.5mm
MATTDOMINANCE that’s the depth but o swear you can get different amounts of needles cartridges

Mate let me help you get back to norwood 1 .
1mg finasteride
1mg oral minoxidil to make sure sulfatranferase takes place through first pass metabolism in the liver turning it into minoxidil sulphate which is the compound that stimulates hair growth.
If you cannot get oral minoxidil get minoxidil compounded with 0.01% tretinoin and 0.03% latanoprost this will increase sulfatranferase activity in the scalp and help metabolize minoxidil if you were a non responder.
Micro needle once a week at 1.5mm depth
Take a topical anti androgen as well such as ketanconazol or RU58841
NO finasteride is not an anti androgen it is a 5 alpha reductase inhibitor which prevents the reduction of testosterone to DHT .
DHT is significantly more androgenic which causes miniaturization of the hair follices so finasteride helps with that , however the androgen receptors on the scalp can still get latched onto with testosterone and cause miniaturization hence you take a topical anti androgen as well.
And finally take a PGE2 agonist like 1-2ml oral castor oil
Or a PGD2 inhibitor to prevent folicular hypoxia.
Quick question, I noticed some people drag the dermapen across their scalp and some people use it like the way you do, lifting up and down. Does it matter?
It should be dragged across the skin be so the Needles are going in the right depth all the time. I do this for a living. Im on Instagram nuasthetika if you need advice
Elizabeth Pawlowski thank you love.
@@JoJo-oo7zt what was the answer lol
How many users do you get for each cartridge
Hey Matt, two questions for you.
1) have you seen any improvement since you started using micro-needling?
2) two years ago, I went to a dermatologist, who said to me "better spray minoxidil rather than foam, same thing , but for less money". Have you any knowledge about spray vs foam? Thanks!
Foam is better when using on the face. For scalp the liquid is way better
The drops from costco "kirkland" is great
What product can I use with this (serum) ?
