This was an outdistancing video Mike, and my favorite one going back a long ways. Excellent footage and nice and close as well as the drone. Some really cool machines- especially that old Ford 6000 winch was sharp!
Hay Mike, great video as always!!!!! very cool to see all the old tractors running together in one field!! I'm excited for all of your harvest 2021 videos! maybe something new on the farm that you help on? we'll see! take care Mike
mike you need to come to the plow day we have minden city Michigan on third saterday in September we do about 180 acres of wheat field with around 40 tractors
@@kevincasady8992 Yes, HFWA. I'm just so used to typing or saying MFWD I didn't even think about it when I posted, but it is clearly a hydraulic front end.
@4:35 i bet old Cleetus went home n said to his ol lady "Was a great day plowin but was sure busy with them UFO's followin me up n down the field, i told ya they'd come back fur me"
For the most part it's a bunch of farmers getting in a pile and having a fun day. Celebrating days gone by and the equipment they used over the years and hung onto. Showing off their prized possessions from the past and watching them work the ground they were made for. Sharing the love of farming brother..........
@@beebop9808 thanks, in Ireland there is a competition annually to find who is best at ploughing. Run over a number of days with trade stands etc. Thousands of spectators.
I don't doubt there are similar events happen somewhere in the US. There are plenty of tractor enthusiast and clubs that aren't even farmers. It's all good.
Don’t know how I missed this! I LOVE these events! So fun to see the older tractors still plowing along
Great video.Brings back memories from living in the area. Thanks
I was raised around greenville.love it there. Maid rites are great too
Nothing better than a plow day😁👍 so many tractors and plows in one field is awesome to see👍👍
I can smell the turned soil. Plowing sure smells amazing
I used to haul steel to Celina to Pax manufacturing in the early 90's and noticed a LOT of MM and everybody still plowed their land !
Great video. I enjoy seeing all of that equipment in one field. I enjoyed plowing. It was slow but fun.
Nice to see "old school" for a change. Great video!
I saw that Ford 901 down in Portland In. plowing at Tri-State show. Heck of a nice guy to speak with
Excellent ploughing-video!
Thanks a lot fpr that! 😊👍🏻
Great Video of JD. the Sound Cab design is one of my favorites

I'm not necessarily a Deere guy but that line of 44s was pretty cool. I also loved seeing the blue out there!! Great video Mike!!
Damn nice 6000 Ford and plow to match. Pretty impressive how it handled it also
The video takes me back to when I plowed with an 856 IH tractor & 6 -14 plow

That is one good looking tractor.
Another great video… way to go hand !!
That ford 6000 has an almost glow in the dark blue color to it!
mike you need to come to the plow day we have minden city Michigan on third saterday in September we do about 180 acres of wheat field with around 40 tractors
09:00 that farmer knows how to set up a plough. Furrows straight and all the trash buried.
What an awesome video Mike. It would've been really cool to be there. No better way to spend the day than watching these workhorses go. 😁👍👍
Must be pretty hard ground the way that JD is riding wheelies in the background about 5:00 mark! Always enjoy watching these plowing videos.
Typical deere cant pull shit
Or he’s the guy that always has one more bottom on the plow than the tractor is rated for because he wants to show off….
Interesting to see the 6000 Ford,my neighbor had one in the early 70s,it was a good general all around good tractor...👍👍
That Ford 6600 spinning with a 2 bottom just broke it xDD......but one thing: please kick the music. The sound of tractors is just too beautifull
I know that guy from plain city. Lol. My dad restored the plow he’s pulling
I bet that is out behind Niekamps.
We have a 4440 tractor and that’s my favorite one
Was that a Cockshutt 560 I saw there? Dad and Grandpa ran Cockshutts for a while.
Anyone going to point out the leaping Deere at 4:54?
❤️
Nice video Mike. I see there was a Case 1370 plowing. A local farmer had one but it was yellow. What year did Case change the color on the 1370?
between 1973 and 1974
I feel like I’m watching a old episode of “RAWHIDE “
Judging from the way the tires are on that MFWD 4240, he doesn't know whether he is coming or going hahahaha
Probably a hydraulic front wheel assist... doesn't work well over long periods, the tires wear better and don't slide as much turned around.

@@404nitro the last tractors I owned didn't have seats or steering wheels...
@@kevincasady8992 And were one horse power each too? LOL
@@404nitro nope...I lost my a$$ and didn't know where to go!
The ford looks good but from experience don’t let ur hands rest down through the steering wheel and hit a hole it broke my wrist. Lol
Hey I didn’t see any Oliver’s or Minneapolis Molines plowing there are they banned from coming lol
@4:35 i bet old Cleetus went home n said to his ol lady "Was a great day plowin but was sure busy with them UFO's followin me up n down the field, i told ya they'd come back fur me"
Mike when is the next plow day?
Hello! Some say it`s a sacrilege to plow...
But sacrilege is the awesome amount of chemicals they use...
According to the FSA you can't get into Heaven if you use a plow...
What make and model of drone do you have? To bad not any Oliver or White tractors , Thought I saw a Oliver plow and know I saw a White.
I used my DJI Mavic Air in this video.
How we gonna get these fields turned over Paw, we don't have enough to get it done. Don't you worry junior. we gonna have us a plow day! hahahaha
Maybe a silly question, what is a plough day. Are these tractors hired or are the owners just helping out.
