The factories demand it. The machines can't stop because the factories run 24 x 7 regardless of weather. My father grew potatoes and sugar beet. The potatoes for the frozen chip factories had to fed into the fryers on a certain day and if the weather was warm in winter and were muddy they just pulled the wheeled tractors and harvesters through the mud with tandem caterpillar tractors. Then they bulldozed the field flat afterwards. They burned 1 tonne of diesel a day. A frozen chip is made of diesel.
You may be a bit too young to remember fall of 1974, same conditions that fall in southern part of Holland. But we sure did not have this kind of equipment so the government send out the army and volunteer university students to help dig the beets out by hand. It was an experience!

Among all these beast machines what amazes me the most is type of your soil. If we had that amount of water here in Croatia, tank would probably stuck and should wait for sprint. No mud on tracks, no mud on tires.. I'm really amazed with your soil type.
It's just sand, you wouldn't be doing this on heavy clay soils no matter what kind of machine you cobble together. Good job putting those tracks on though!
@@Agrifotodotnl Yes, you can move but it won't be digging beets out of the ground and separating them from the mud and be able to actually unload them out of the tank. I've spend countless hours digging loads that were half mud, half beets out of tanks with a shovel, some types of sea clay are worse then glue and molasses mixed together. And it sticks to any kind of metal that it comes in contact with and builds up and plugs things up in no time flat.
Prachtige machine!
what a beast of a machine, made it look effortless. now lets see the video of the next planting on that land, going to need something amphibious i think 😀. great video.
These machines need to be modded into FS22 and FS25. I would like that as the odd machine combination would be interesting. I also have to say I have never seen a more muddy field during harvesting operations.
Here in the netherlands its more common to see newer Agrifacs, like the HexxTraxx and BigSixx, tho in my area also some Holmer T7's drive around, and a couple of Grimme Rexxor's and Ropa Tigers drive here too, but not anywhere close to me afaik, and on top of that some Vervaets drive around here too, its a big mix of machines XD
You dont realy have much choice in that you cant predict the weather, also you have to harvest them at a specific time to get a good yield, not harvesting them would cause a complete lost, also if you dont harvest them they are in the way next planting season and they need to get rid of them anyway.
Mooie video.
That is an impresife machine but in my does harvesting condition are not healty for soil and also for the exweapment it selfe but as a small farmer myselfe i understand that harvest must be done in the right time at all cost. Great videos keep the good work and i can t wait to see another new video speacial a new apdate video dose are just gold to wach
@@SgHawk144 yes indeed, dont know why they chose to have it like this. But its not every year you have mud up to the axles, so its probably fine in normal field conditions

Impressive engineering certainly, but disastrous for the soil structure! With our warming climate, wetter winters producing higher water tables this kind of farming is not sustainable 😮
After a couple of dry years we had a pretty wet summer and hardly a day without rain since October. It is exceptionally wet everywhere in western Europe.
It will be fine. Leave it to dry out, run through with a subsoiler, leave it to dry again, cultivate and sow the next crop. Farmers have been doing this for years - where are all the ‘ruined’ fields?
That FS25 deformable terrain tech is next level.
It's amazing that we have machines that have the technology to harvest in those conditions. Very impressive.

kinda sad tho
😂😂😂👌🏻
And there not doing any damage to the soil farming like that are they…🤔
It's not, they're wiping their arse in money JUST becuase
I don't think I've seen any sugar beet harvesting on RUclips that doesn't involve these huge machines damaging the soil like that.
Wow. I’m sixty and never seen this operation ever before. What a swamp to work in.
Conditions in the Netherlands have been exceptionally wet this year. The ground is completely saturated, even at top of 'ridges'.
we basically live in the swamps in the netherlands if you think about it

This won't work on all soils in the country but if it is really wet on this sand the tracks and machine flush clean.

They’re gonna be in for a hell of a ride planting next year lol
Not if every machine they have is like this Star Wars war rig lol
They will be flying trough thr cab
That farm ground right there will never be the same ground any more
Yes its really bad!
its fine they deep plough 3 to 4 feet deep it will be fine
Don't worry, they know what they're doing. The Netherlands didn't become second largest agricultural exporter in the world by messing around..

Incredible machines

just watched a bit ls25 and now im here
very clean beets!
Contractor "How much compaction would you like to have in your field?"
Farmer "Yes."
Incredible that harvest is possible in these conditions!
The soil structure can't be good, and the worms are probably dead, anyway respect for getting the crop out b4 it rots

Maybe with ground deformation we will have the same field conditions in FS25 soon ;-).
Tractor has bigger tires on rear axle from factory?
Good video guys, that looks fun 😂 I’ve still got beet to come out of the field you guys see me last year and we might need that 😂
Thanks Daniel. Once they've finished I'm sure they don't mind shipping it over! Been done before.
Belo trabalho, show, a terra ajuda muito fértil

Mooi gefilmd. Indrukwekkende machine.
Bedankt
One way or another you will get compaction. Dutch farmers have big deep plows to take care of it🤠
Great video of an absolute beast. Do you have a video of them working a field like this?
great you watch dutch farming
Thank you. No not yet but maybe this spring...
Doing that in such wet will really compact the soil.
Unbelievable 🤯🤯🤯 Dutch engineering at its finest 🤔 I just don’t understand why the chaser bin’s front bumper is so low???
It can't be raised any higher. Is already sitting at the frame.
probably due to european law, to protect drivers of small cars. "underrun protection"

seems like it fills faster then the dump truck can keep up you would need to be running multiple dump trucks a day
But is it worth to destroy the ground that much for one years harvest? Like honestly thats REALLY wet.
Whats that machinery's name
Sugar beet harvester.
@@Agrifotodotnl Not the combine- Type. The Brand and Model name

why does the truck has different size wheels?
