Btw, it's really illustration of their fight stiles. Aang setting trap for others, so enemies will damage themselves. Azula avoiding that trap masterfully. And Zuko, screaming and raging, going directly into the trap😂
I always love seeing that last shot with the 5 of them attacking Azula at once. They hit her with Fire, earth, water, air, and even Sokka threw his boomerang at her! #SquadGoals!
The reason Azula shot Iroh is because Iroh was distracted/surprised to find that the girl he just met traveling happened to be friends with the avatar. That's why it panned from Toph to Aang. Also remember while Azula is a super bad ass, the Gaang was exhausted which definitely impacted their fighting performance.
Aang would body them if he was serious lol. Hed annihilate Toph with airbending alone and would overwhelm Azula with that element also. Azula is not "right after" Aang and firelord Ozai/Iroh. I feel like this show helped me to empathize with other people, when i was young i totally got all the politics and emotions and that's why i love this show. I think a lot of the older shows like this and friends, etc, made me who i am today.
my friend from high school would say bro ironically all the time, and then it wasn't ironic but just habit, and then i started saying it and i'm still kinda stuck like that. 'dude' started very similarly way back in the late 90's/early 00's, too lol
I like how Appa the airplane was flying pretty fast. The train was driving pretty fast. Zuko was riding a Chocobo pretty fast. And Iroh chased them all successfully on foot. Like holy crap, that's a plot hole lol
Not necessarily! I'm sure that stop on the river wasn't the first time the train had to stop to get its bearings, not to mention it wouldn't have been able to get down the mountain as fast as Appa. As for Zuko, the train probably happened to pass as he was nearby, and he only had to go full speed on that last stretch. Once he reached the ghost town, the ensuing fight would've given Toph and Iroh enough time to catch up on foot
@@sykamoreva9803 No, I meant your interpretation was convenient. You’re going to pretty far lengths to explain it. Like Tolkien fans coming up with ways to explain why not taking the eagles to Mt.Doom wasn’t a plot hole. Which it was, let’s not pretend. Avatar and LoTR are not perfect, nothing ever is, and that’s ok.
@@pumpkingamebox Things don't have to be perfect, but implying there's a plot hole where something can be easily explained does the writers a disservice. Funny you mention the Eagles, as that's another "plot hole" people tend to take at face value! The Eagles rescuing Gandalf from Orthanc was basically Gandalf cashing in a favor. The Eagles aren't just a taxi service for people, they're sentient and have their own problems. If Sauron were to dominate the lands of Middle Earth, as far as the Eagles are concerned, that doesn't affect them. Whether they're wrong or not, they don't have a vested interest in flying someone over an active volcano in a land full of hostile Uruk just so they can end yet another conflict the Eagles seemingly have no stake in, and I can't say I blame them
This reminds me of their hype reactions when game of thrones battles go down. They are on a rollercoaster, saying each episode after another was so good
Came here to say how in the beginning at night I *hated* how they went in the direction that the “train” was already going and saying “how did it find us”. That’s like following a railroad and saying “how does the train keep catching up”.
Always thought it was interesting how Azula took out Iroh, not just because she had an opening, but also because he was the biggest threat to her. At this point in time, the others couldn't have taken her on.
It's great to see them loving and appreciate this show.I still remember Eric from Blindwave told them to keep on watching this series when they reacted to the first episode.
Back when I was a kid and watched Zuko Alone, I almost didn't even realize Aang and the others didn't show up. Like, the show up to that point and further on would have most episodes that seemed like two stories going on in one. One about the Gang. And one about Zuko. And as a kid, I would sometimes blur the episodes together in my memory or sometimes remember one episode as two separate episodes. Zuko was already such a well established character that got his own subplots and just as much focus as the heroes, I thought his solo episode was completely normal. Hell, I was surprised later in life to realize it was his only solo episode.
as a kid I was still invested in last episode because I have watched plenty of westerns thanks to my grandfather. and even as a kid I didn't have the words to draw the similarities but I knew it felt very familiar
I’ll never not die laughing at Zuko running into the building and falling
Especially after Azula saved herself 🤣
nice try scammers
same
Btw, it's really illustration of their fight stiles. Aang setting trap for others, so enemies will damage themselves. Azula avoiding that trap masterfully. And Zuko, screaming and raging, going directly into the trap😂
Two favorite quotes from the series are in the episode:
"IM COMPLETELY CALM!!!" and
"LEEEAAAVVEE!!!"
hahaha i cant take the LEAVE part serious anymore after seeing Blindwaves video of that episode
More like over the top quotes at that.
If those two are your favorite quotes from the show, well...
...*That's rough, buddy*
(Jokin, BTW. The *L E A V E* is also pretty iconic)
I'm obsessed with that LEEEEEAAAAAVVVEEEEE

Also remember while Azula is a super bad ass, the Gaang was exhausted which definitely impacted their fighting performance.
Jason Kapelus actually i thought that iroh was suprised at first but then thought at whom azula would most likely shoot
Jason Kapelus Iroh was the only one who was not exhausted or starved. Also 1 on 1 Iroh can beat Azula normally, he's the biggest threat.
^ yea, wanted to say that too. Added to what OP said, she acknowledged Iroh as the biggest threat.
And Azula right after, more than likely.
I've always been curious who would win 1v1 between:
Aang (No Avatar State)
Azula
Toph

I don't think that was the same town as from Zuko Alone, that was a ghost town that seemed like it had been abandoned for a long time.
Right. Those buildings were completely dilapidated.
I think it was the same village from the episode where Hei Bai appeared in season 1.
@@dyfaction3017 No that Village had a forrest around it and was still lived in. This one messed up by the war a while back
Azula is smart. She hit Iroh first because she knew that he alone can pretty much take him on. Her surprise attack against Iroh was fuking smart...
She may have thought so although not true, she can't take Aang or Toph especially not in an open field but yeah she's a sneaky one.
She can beat Toph on account of being better than her and she can certainly beat season 2 aang who is not a good fighter by any means.
+Lebronze And yet both Aang and Toph have never lost to Azula in battle, granted Azula's never had a 1v1 against Toph.
Azula is well suited to taking out Toph due to her bouncy fighting style and agility. They are evenly matched in bending, but Azula is faster and more intelligent.

She wouldn't be especially since an amped Ozai couldn't handle him. Azula just hit him with a cheap shot.
itsxtray was not cheap she played it smart and beat him with her brain
Bordering on spoiling that scene fam, shhhhhh 😂
I feel like this show helped me to empathize with other people, when i was young i totally got all the politics and emotions and that's why i love this show. I think a lot of the older shows like this and friends, etc, made me who i am today.
my friend from high school would say bro ironically all the time, and then it wasn't ironic but just habit, and then i started saying it and i'm still kinda stuck like that. 'dude' started very similarly way back in the late 90's/early 00's, too lol
16:09 Sokka threw his boomerang at Azula and was just blown away by the other elements.
“Can we watch another?” “Fuck me its 2 am.” Story of my life when I marathon this show
Mental note: Never open a bottle sitting on a couch or if you see a pal doing that take a step back
Definitely the most adrenaline pumping episode until the final four episodes
That edit when Momo and Rana got covered in beer lmao
respect to mickey for knowing what a jesus christ lizard is. it's also called a basilisk. best animal

Zuko, what's on the canadian flag? "A LEEAAAAAAAAAF!" Sorry.
@@sykamoreva9803 How convenient.
@@pumpkingamebox Convenience does a lot for people in this show narratively man. You don't have to like it, but it does prevent glaring plot holes
Whether they're wrong or not, they don't have a vested interest in flying someone over an active volcano in a land full of hostile Uruk just so they can end yet another conflict the Eagles seemingly have no stake in, and I can't say I blame them
2:29 Lol says the two that have the most trouble following the story!
I see some raised interest, between barely caring in episode 1 and now being the first to ask to watch the next one. Somebody got hooked.
I like that everytime Iroh speaks he is reciting pieces of wisdom.
Always thought it was interesting how Azula took out Iroh, not just because she had an opening, but also because he was the biggest threat to her. At this point in time, the others couldn't have taken her on.
I loved your excitement when Zuko showed up lol I'm glad you like him now.
Also, Iroh continues to be a great character.
the beer spilling in the intro is killing me
It's great to see them loving and appreciate this show.I still remember Eric from Blindwave told them to keep on watching this series when they reacted to the first episode.
I know these reactions are 3 years old, but these four are priceless!
"THIS TOWN AINT BIG ENOUGH FER DA TWOAUS" -Mickey
"Momo!! I'VE GOT YOU, BUDDY!!"
I'M COMPLETELY CALM!!!!
LEEEAAAVVEEE!!!
“Look here, Sugar Queen!” Yeah Toph! You show Katara who’s boss!😎😎😎😎😎
"Momo I got you buddy" Suraj 😂
What about Rana 😭
as a kid I was still invested in last episode because I have watched plenty of westerns thanks to my grandfather. and even as a kid I didn't have the words to draw the similarities but I knew it felt very familiar
