If you can squeeze it in a series of “stories with Joe and Ray” would be awesome. That engine stand is first class, and the little nuggets of knowledge dropped in just the few minutes needs to be expanded

What a cool bunch of buggy stuff !
I used to play at Glamis in the mid and late 70's long before it got so crowded.
Back then a 2180 was king of the sand.
Now many years later, I still miss the fun of Thanksgiving weekend camping just across the road from the Glamis store.
Thanks for the exciting video Merlin.
    Take Care

Back in the early 90's my dad was scraping some old A/C and chiller units that he had collected for years. I came across a small high volume air low pressure blower looking at it looked like it would my 2 barrel dalarto. It fit perfectly we modified a pulley for it with a old AC clutch so I ended up with a mini route blower on 1776 and it was awesome it had to at least double the horsepower. It ran around 12 to 16 psi it would wheel stand in every gear, I have been looking for another one for years and haven't found another one like it. When I took my Baja down the drag strip the best time I ran was 10.876 if I would have taken off the 33"s of the back but I loaded the front down 4 50 lb sand bags. I wish I would have never sold it but my daughter was on the way so it had to go so my had a place to sit.

When you were looking at the frames the camera was showing a distorted picture and it reminded me of a late friend whom had a sand buggy. It was built like a rail but it could have been wider than it's length. He built it rather stout because he used a bench seat out of a 1974 Cadillac coupe de ville. It was very limited to the places it could go but most of the dunes here in Michigan are large and wide open, anyhow that's about all I remember I was into my car and that was all.
