- @MerlinsOldSchoolGarage gets another great facebook marketplace find but this time it is a trade deal... In PENNSYLVANIA! Follow along to see what he trades and how he gets it all home! Big thanks to Travis Jaracz at Camel Towing Lake Havasu City and Makay Campbell for all your help!
Merlin needs a five acre compound to keep all his vehicles in, lol, I think Merlin is trying to breed those old Fords back into existence, lol, awesome video, and thanks for sharing.
Sundays are better with Merlin!
Mondays are better with Merlin 😅!!!
Great to have friends like Merlin does. As they unloaded that trailer, I think of a clown car. More, and more, then more.... Great finds.
What a great way to start my day... Got my toast and coffee and watching Merlin getting all those new cars!! Going to enjoy seeing these great old cars being brought back to life!!!
One of the really amazing things about those old Model Ts is that when disassembled, they will fit through a standard doorway. My father told me about pranking a fellow student in college when he left for Christmas break and a few kf the students who stayed behind took his Model T apart and reassembled inside his dorm room😂
Back in Jr high my friends dad collected and built old cars. And he had built one in a side room in the basement all through a single door way. This was back in the 1960s.
It's amazing how Merlin acquires so many treasures and manages to keep track of all of it.
He really has it all organized pretty well!
He does what we all do: spread your new purchases all over the garage “Organizing”.
1). If you ever want to find it again
2). If you don’t want the wife to notice yet another purchase . 🙄
You are almost out of room!
I find it more amazing he manages to store all of it on a single driveway.
@@foxp2483 seems like I was watching one time and he went to another yard somewhere in the area for a pickup he was fixing for a young kid, but his driveway, and garage are sure organized.
Whenever my Wife says "you have too much stuff" I show her a Merlins Garage Video !!!.
For Work I am in Denmark and they had some WW2 re enactment here, The Americans had a deuce and a half (i think that's what those trucks were called) and they had at least one Model T and 2 Model A Fords. Watching MOSG now I know which one is what. We learned that Henry Ford just called them by letters and I could never figure out why T was before A. Thanks to Merlin I now know they went thru the alphabet twice :) Glad to see you getting more of them old Fords and getting them ready to run.
A shop teacher friend of my dad's, and his wife rode this exact motorcycle from Colorado to San Fancisco and back! In the early 70's , they were both a bit beefy, I've always been impressed with their tenacity!
I have a 1970 SL Honda Motosport 350 it has bigger valves and Longer rake for better handling I call it Frankenstein I took 70lbs off of it with every after market part Yoshimuira low pipe two into one 750 front disk 1980s suspension inch more travel air assist fork brace top and bottom Akront rims Ha ha ha 1hp for 10lbs 😂🤣😃
Gotta love these Sunday uploads can’t just go by the thumbnail you never know what Merlin will throw in there or get into
I keep thinking how cool it would’ve been to have had him as a shop teacher in high school he’s one of them guys could take a lawnmower and teach you more about simple engine mechanics than a shop teacher could over a year of changing oil in a car
The ski fired up and Jimmy came around the corner like it was a mating call!!!!
Going to have to start stacking your collection! Love it...
What a wonderful sound. They are beautiful old ladies. Can't wait to see them on the road. Thanks for the videos....I love them.
When i was a teenager in the early 80's my grandfather who was a blacksmith repaired one of these engines. It had a broken rod, so he used the one next to it and made a mold then cast a new one. Was amazed by the simplicity yet complexities of those little engines. engines.
Merlin is in heaven with those extra parts
I could watch Merlin build old cars forever
Thanks for rescuing some more treasures. I'm almost home with my first Model T. It makes people happy to see it.
I remember the valve grinder like that one, in my dad’s tool box.
I remember my dad had parts like that lying around the house like that,It brought back memories to see those Jacks and that horn,I was telling Zona that I actually recognized a lot of those parts, Thank you merlin , and all that cranking would have took my breath away too.
One man’s junk is another man’s treasure, great find
I often think how much less complicated and interesting it was in early 1900s. Thanks for great vids and content. My Gpa used model T to deliver products to neighbors when he was 8 years old. Love and miss his stories.
When he dropped that trailer door, Merlin looked like a kid on Christmas morning.
In the early 80s I had a 2nd hand Honda CB360. Awesome bike for a new rider. Loved it and am forever sorry I sold it.
When Travis opened the trailer, I think that's the most giddy I've seen Merlin. Of course I would be too.
Woah!! That was a heck of a trip! I live up in Maine, never left yet in all of my 39 years. How cool would this have been to see the country! Surely can't wait to see Merlin build these rigs 💪
Congrats on being able to feed your addiction to early Fords.
Beautiful collection you are building.
Thanks for sharing.
Wow Merline treats his help to embassy suites!
When I was growing up on the farm in Sask. Canada in the 50's we had a gas power washing machine most likely a Maytag. All the water would have be heated up on coal fired cook stove . Pumped by hand . We did not have power until later in the 1950's
Merlin,it’s great to see all you do to keep this country’s history alive. You truly are a master mechanic! Keep up the good work. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Yup x 2
Sunday morning with MOSG A yard full of history in Fords. Love how Dr Frankenstein will bring them back to life & drivable. Where most say junk Merlin sees gold. Your knowledge will always be mind blowing. And your friends are crazy but those are the best ones.
Amazing collection of Original Model T cars, they are in the Best of hands now enjoy those beautiful cars Merlin...
You kno watching you tinker with old cars , trucks , jet skis or whatever else just rolls in never gets old . People don’t realize how much knowledge you can learn a crap ton by just paying attention to what someone who knows what there doin getting it done. I love to tinker on really anything, that might be why I haven’t bought a new truck bc I’d have that pile of computers jacked up 😂😂😉. Nah I’m just kidding but I really do enjoy the videos and the true knowledge you possess and portray to other.
I can't believe the miles you guys do to pick this stuff up!!. I drive far enough in Australia that you measure a trip in time and days not miles, but you guys are the next level.
I had that same model Honda bike in the '70's, great little machine. Those T's will keep you busy.
Merlin, You are the "MAN", every time I watch you, you make my day 100% better, thank you again.😊👍👍👍👍
Travis is the man! Wow Merlin I'm shocked how sweet this deal was. Just those running lights are insane prices. Wow! Wow! Wow! Ĝo Cincinnati Reds! But they're out of wildcard now.
You should make one of those a wrecker to haul the other ones. Keep saving history Sir. Thanks for the awesome videos. 👍😁
Travis came within 80 miles of me. I love 80 miles north of Pittsburgh PA. Pretty cool seeing how they filled that trailer up! Gotta make the trip worth it that's for sure!
If only I could find one . Keep up the great work preserving these amazing cars
🎉 thanks for the video 🎉 Paul sent me over 🎉..... 😎 Cool cars 🎉....JJ... Jonjon...😊
It seems that some people did what ever they could to save those old Fords and the old monoliths have went from one caring enthusiast to another. The old model A's and T's not only transformed the transportation Industry, but established it. It seems that Merlin's heart and soul was drawn to carry on, and bring a few back to life, when he inherited those new parts to be able to keep these precious entities of America's history intact.
Merlin, you're a walking Encyclopedia of model T's! No one can dispute that. You're collection of old Trucks and automobiles would make a grown man enthusiast cry! 😢 you have a lot of cool projects ahead of you! I hope I get to see them all! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next...
I really enjoy watching the classics come back to life and not be butcher into something that they were not intended to be
Thank you sir and God bless you always
Merlin you are going to need a bigger back yard real soon with all that treasure😎
Always a pleasure, Merlin . Thank you.
It's another great video! Not only is Merlin an amazing guy, he also has amazing friends!
Merlin your going to run out of space at some point but it’s great watching you guys play with your collection. From 🏴
Your making Henry Ford smile for sure
Merlin you have a magical touch with anything with a motor. I have my dad's collection of old model A and model T original Ford wrench's and jacks also a couple of the running board mout toolboxes everything has that classic Ford raised emblem. That have been sitting in a old steel storage container that my dad had gathered as a truckdriver crossing the country for years up until the late 80s some are almost S shaped wrenches amongst almost every tool that a person would need to cross the country with on there car. They are really neet. They sure made things to last. Cool video and neet finds.
Hey Merlin Johnson I think you are looking more and more like a Horder all of the time LOL love your videos and Fab Rats to Charlie kretschmar Phoenix Arizona
That trailer is deceiving. Travis had that trailer filled to the brim!
Good Morning Merlin!
Those two Ts stacked like that made me think of a couple things:
1. Aerosmith album cover for PUMP
2. How did you not get a 3rd from all that private time in the trailer (or did they produce a Yamaha jet ski) 😂👽🤖👽
Your knowledge of these old cars is amazing. Thank you for keeping them alive and not lost.
Merlin's got so much knowledge love watching him and learning stuff, who knew washer machines used to use motor oil!
Love everything you do, I'm jealous of you merlin as I don't have the facility of doing anything 😢, great videos.
You have a gold mine in antique cars and parts. Thanks for saving a part of history. Got to find a building to store and show off the cars.
One splendid show. Travel across the wonderland of America, and then breathing 'air' into ancient vehicle bodies, causing them to slowly move parts and pieces & then come to life. Quite remarkable the talent and effort of Merlin and others. Thanks so much for the compelling story.
I am always amazed at the wealth of knowledge that you have Merlin! You need to find an apprentice to whom you can pass it along. Or write several books!
Love the model T's, we have 1925, I guess I should fix it and drive it around, but she is rough. Thanks for the great video Merlin!
It's pretty handy to have that extra rod waiting to be used.I'm pretty sure I've never seen a 'headlight' for a T.Great finds.
Can’t believe that much stuff was in that trailer. Impressive packing skills, Travis
Nice score Merlin! 👍

That's a score on them lights Marlin you can't beat that I love it
Old iron so cool 💪🏻✌️👍❤️
You have to be out of room by now with all your toys lol. Great video Merlin
Wow. I look forward to you working on these T's. My dad used to tell me about how he'd drop the pan and shim the bearings when they started knocking. Growing up during the depression you did what you had to do to keep them running. Growing up in MN he said they would heat a pot of water on the stove and wrap it in blankets and put it in the back seat. When they got to town they would drain the water out of the radiatort and when they were ready to go back to the farm they dumped the warm water in the radiator and away they would go. He also talked about building a fire under the pan to warm the oil.
Morning Merlin...you mentioned that Maytag oil can, I have a gasoline engine for a washing machine, has a rachet style handle starter...then the Model T jacks, I have two plus a box full of Ford wrenches
When I was in Miami, I bought an E36 BMW M3 in LA. THEN, found the sister to that one in Bangor, Main. My wife bought that one! We realized with one trip, we could save over a thousand miles. 2,700 miles to LA. From there to Main was about 3,200 and back to Miami, just another 1,700, so the loop it was! Yes 1,200 miles of treacherous American traffic averted. It was a good month! And an awesome vacation! About 8 thousand miles of "HEY, wouldya' just look at THAT!
Merlin's ALWAYS finding the good junk!
The old coil boxes they will knot the juice out of you..😂
So cool Merlin
Awesome video Merlin! You need a bigger place! Always Love watching!
Mr M.T nice collection

Now you have a lot of project vehicles. More than enough to keep you busy for a long time!
That's awesome!
It's pretty cool watching you in your own shop. I just started watching reruns of Vegas Rat Rods the other day, and comparing the two versions of Merlin is quite comical in my head. hahaha. Different energies for sure.

❤21:24 Merlin's very careful to not injure himself 👍😎✊
Thanks for making
The Lehigh tunnel is 20-30 min drive from my house. By the way of the crow 10 minutes, so basically in my backyard.
CB350 was the first bike I had to run through the woods at 12 years old. My first big bike lol.
Just put a knobby tire on back and rip it like an Enduro. Man that trailer was packed full of goodies.
Merlin you keep on buying all these model TnA and there won't be any for anyone else.
Merlin, your work area gives me claustrophobia! I don't know how you do it.. but it seems to work for you! Love the vids!
