Thank you for this video, very helpful. I have to do my German exam on a computer with a German keyboard, and I was worried about finding these symbols. I hope they don't mark me down, if some of the 'y's and 'z's get mixed up !
I hope your exam went well! Those y's and z's can indeed be hard to keep straight once you've been introduced to both the German and English keyboards.🙂
I have a program that was set up on a German keyboard, I need to enter the < symbol on my US keyboard as part of the password. My right ALT key does not work (German Alt Gr key). What combination do I need on my Is keyboard to get this symbol? Thank you.
Quotation marks look a little different in German-language texts. That could be what you're seeing. Sometimes the font will change the look of the quotation mark as well.
The umlaut is typically only placed over a, o, or u. There is no way to type e umlaut in the German keyboard. That's great news though, right? One less thing to remember.🙂
How can I actually type < and > on a German keyboard? I have been looking for it for a long time but there is no result :( Btw. thanks a lot for the other tips :)
Vielen Dank für dieses Video!
