Just another installment of Leon, the little crabs, glass shrimp and kitties all living their best lives! I've been going through a rough time this Fall, and seeing this video helped cheer me up a lot.
First, it was Emmanuel the emu, now it is Leon the Lobster and the rescue kitties. It warms my heart to see people with genuine empathy for animals and who will go to extraordinary lengths to provide a loving, healthy environment. It has been amazing how much Leon has grown since the first episode I saw him brought back to be raised . He has gotten so large and will keep growing bigger and get even bigger claws . Hope to see him again soon .
I remember how timid he was when he first arrived. He'd given up, he wouldn't even move his claws. I love how this guy has shown that lobsters are thinking, feeling beings that have likes and dislikes just like we do, they're not unfeeling bugs whose only purpose is to be overpriced human food.

I have a 3 legged cat, she's missing her right back leg. I named her Thump, because that is the sound she makes as she hops across the floor...thump, thump, thump, thump. She gets around the house very easily, climbs on the kitty condo and has zoomies every night...around 3 am. Your little black kitty will be fine once everything heals : )
Glad Jet is alright. And I feel it isn't a bad idea to give Leon something that lets him exercise his sense of caution occasionally like he did with the crab legs. It definitely would help him mentally in addition to the usual enrichment you do. It's natural for lobsters in the wild to be cautious, and I think we don't want Leon to become lazy and not caring about anything besides food.
Reminds me of a big old salt tank we had. All the expensive fish died in it during a few day power outage when we were out of town, But we left it running for years with no fish and it was amazing all the little creatures that showed up over the months - crab, shrimp, anemone, snails, even a small eel and some random tiny fish. Long before, my brother had gotten some 'live' rock someplace and it certainly turned out to be that.
I'm glad yo see Jet recovered. My friend and I rescue cats in Georgia the country, where we live. The situation here is pretty bad. She has a 3 legged cat, fostering a 3-legged, one-eyed cat. We have had tails, legs amputated, eyes and rotting teeth removed. It's really so great to see you take care of these cats in addition to the ones you already had❤🎉

Growing up on a farm, our dog lost his right rear leg in an accident. He recovered quickly, and only lost five mph off his top speed. He also loved to chase cars on the highway, ut couldn’t stop as fast with one less leg.

I’m really enjoying watching your channel and have a suggestion for you. My cousin is the manager of the seafood counter at a grocery store. She said they occasionally get in damaged seafood. Things that aren’t spoiled but maybe broken or not well shaped. They just toss it. She mentioned if someone approached her she would gladly make arrangements to donate it for aquarium use. Glass Shrimp: To help them have enough food, you can take the yolk of a boiled egg and pinch off pieces and distributed into the water. I would do about a quarter no more than a third at each feeding. It’ll also be good for the filter feeders in the aquarium. It’s something you use to feed baby fish and Brian Shrimp when you’re raising them.
You should team up with serpa design and have that guy build you a living breathing environment for all of these sea creatures. He knows what he's doing. He is the master.
Not trying bring anything down and I know RUclips income is lacking but Kamikoto aren't the most honest company as they use the lowest quality steel possible for their knifes, there are a few videos on RUclips showing it I recommend the one by Dutch Bushcraft Knives. Also they are owned by the people who run the Established Titles which a whole other can of worms

You should team up with serpa design and have that guy build you a living breathing environment for all of these sea creatures. He knows what he's doing. He is the master.
Not trying bring anything down and I know RUclips income is lacking but Kamikoto aren't the most honest company as they use the lowest quality steel possible for their knifes, there are a few videos on RUclips showing it I recommend the one by Dutch Bushcraft Knives. Also they are owned by the people who run the Established Titles which a whole other can of worms
