I am forever shocked - in a good way by this community - and by the love everyone has for Leon. This video is 1 hour old by the time I am posting this and is already sitting at 13,270 views (it was 12,993 when I started typing this!) It is such a good calming experience watching this journey and these updates. Keep up the excellent work, and know your efforts are greatly appreciated!
I know why Leon's growth is so impressive: it's because he's pampered, and fed good foods, and kept in a well maintained tank. I'm sure Jett and all the other pensionners will fare just as well. It's always a pleasure, when I see a new video in my Subscribed feed. Thank you for all you do Brady!
the fact that this lobster was saved from a grocery store back in 2021 and lived since then just makes me happy, because i watched the first video back when it got released in a night where I couldn't sleep because of my new and first covid shot. I've followed along his journey and check back in here and there to see if there are any news to his life and story now being a pet in a safe place. And oh yes, he grew bigger.
Is it just me or is Leon turning blue? I love this freaking lobster. I am so happy he has you! What a wholesome and lovely story to have on my feed. Thank you so much❤😊
I think it's just the blue bucket highlighting the blue in him. But it is pretty. Maybe Brady needs to put a blue backing on the back of the tank to bring out Leon's features when he's on camera. Lol
They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns and can change over time with sheds. Even some dramatic patterns like two different colors/patterns split down the middle. I think most people just think of the red cooked color when they think of lobsters. He does appear to have some blue highlights in places.
theres something very fun about giving something that wasn't meant to be a pet the full pet lifestyle, compete with some fancy roommates. love how big and strong leon has gotten. what a guy
Catching up on the life of Leon, and loving every second! Just in case you don't know, this video didn't make it into the "all episodes" playlist. I found it in your videos tab though, so it isn't a big deal. Just happy to see how well Leon is doing since being rescued and adopted. ❤❤
Wow, Leon is getting bigger and bigger. Anabolic Leon, the body builder lobster. Jokes aside, you're doing an amazing job taking care of Leon & co and sharing your knowledge. The crab duo was really something, no doubt the smaller seeks protection from the bigger. I am glad that Jett is feeling good. Can't wait for the upcoming videos
I forget which species of crab it is, but when it's time to molt, they gather together in great numbers. They then take turns shedding to protect each other. Those with stronger shells are on top, while those who just shed or are in the process of doing so are on the bottom of the pile. It could very well be protection on the part of the larger crab.
So I cannot stand seeing lobsters at restaurants and grocery stores cruelly awaiting death. So so wonderful watching this rescue! He looks just beautiful and happy! You truly brought one of God's creatures back to life!
Brady I continue to be astonished with your care and compassion for all your creatures.... Especially LEON! The selection of music, the close-up photography, and technical knowledge of the needs of each is impressive.... And a learning experience for us .. Many THANKS. I do enjoy your "side trips" as well. Looking forward to your next episodes. LEON LOVE🦞
I'm sorry but lobsters just aren't cute, this is coming from a true animal lover who appreciates all God's creatures. But lobsters aren't cute and I have no idea how people can actually eat them. They remind me of huge cockroaches, lol But yes, a very heart warming story
It's amazing how pissed Leon looked when you put him in the blue bucket. I didn't realise lobsters have such a big range of emotions that can be shown on their face. You can clearly see when he is happy or curious or afraid or now pissed.
The photography of Leon, the shrimp, crabs and the cats is exemplary. Having beautiful documentation of these magnificent creatures is a gift you have shared Brady.
Leon seriously trusts Brady, I thought he would start flipping and freaking out when he was removed from the tank! He could have been picked for dinner that night, but Leon waited patiently in the blue bowl to be returned to his renovated home. Brilliant footage- as always. Thank you.
Do you have plans for someone to take care of Leo whenever your time on Earth is complete?? I've read the longest living lobster in captivity lived to be 140 years old !!! They can last a very long time and you take such great care of him. LOVE watching your videos🤩

I wonder if he has enough of a memory or the kind of thinking that would enable him to basically have lobster PTSD… Or maybe I’m just anthropomorphizing, but it’s be fascinating to k ow wether or not lobsters are capable of that type of complex thought!
@@katehucks774 Personally i think they are. Today i read a story of a parrot who asked a human what colour he was. Really if an animal can be wondering it's own colouring and Leon willingly cleans his dishes away from his bedroom like a human would, i have no problem believing he remembers where he used to be, er go knows being transported could put him back into such a place.
I’m with you. We too had a rescue lobster for about 18 months. Unfortunately he didn’t survive a shell change for some reason. He was just as much of a pet as our dog. 🦞
Wow, can't believe how big Leon's claws have gotten since you first got him..that is amazing! He looks so good & healthy, he must be the happiest lobster alive
You could almost hear him thinking: "A blue tub?! This is boring. What did I do to deserve this?" And after 12-or-so hours: "Well it's about *time* I got back to my own place...but wait. *You rearranged all of my furniture???!*" I'm glad to see everyone surviving and thriving so beautifully; thank you for sharing with us.
It’s a funny thing with watching your videos on Leon. I’ve never seen lobster anything other than a delicious meal. After watching your videos, I’m seeing them for what they truly are, a living creature with lots of personality.
Two years ago I had just had my first baby, who I called Leon. A few days after his birth when we had come home from hospital your first Leon video popped up. Ive always been fascinated by lobsters, such strsnge alien creatures I was curious to see what one would be like as a pet. When you called him Leon I was so surprised, what a coincidence! I've loved following the growth of your lovely lobster ever since. What a joy to watch two totally different Leon's grow over the years. Keep up the good work Brady, he is looking healthier and more beautiful as the years go by, and hes gained an impressive amount of weight!
Yup, always soothing, I know the feeling and then always a Leon Video seems to drop like clockwork, Same with "Walter Santi" and his cat stories ,I follow
I was around when you first got Leon. Glad they're still around. Probably has flashbacks of their trip from the ocean to the grocery store and doesn't want to deal with that again.
Amazing creatures. I had a lobster for years in my aquarium. Lots of fun times. Once he escaped and i didnt noticed yet. Happened in a night. My little brother in the morning yelling in fear that some creature sat behind the toilet while he was using it. There i found my lobster. 2 floors down.
@@MichaelRei99 There's no magic to human personalities, they're as much a product of evolutionary biology as any other animal's, we just happen to have more complex ones as a result of our more complex brains, and we often delude ourselves into thinking that our personalities are somehow metaphysically different from our instincts. Conscious thought is an instinct, just a more complex one than the subconscious "monkey see, monkey do" responses that we usually associate with the term 'instinct'. Now, where we draw the line of acceptable callousness is subjective, as we too need to consume other life forms in order to survive, whether flora, fauna or fungi; so you're free to tell yourself whatever you need to for the sake of your own peace of mind. But it doesn't change the underlying truth that in the end, it's an artificial division made up by us, which we are placing on what's in reality a sliding scale of complexity. Hope this clears it up.
@@michasokoowski6651Please don’t insult your own intelligence by comparing lobsters to humans. They are not capable of anything other than simple instinctive action. No emotion.

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
3 Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
4 Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
6 And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you.
8 Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
9 *These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters in the seas and in the rivers them shall ye eat*
10 *And all that have not fins and scales in the seas and in the rivers of all that move in the waters and of any living thing which is in the waters they shall be an abomination unto you*
11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye shall have their carcases in abomination.
12 *Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters that shall be an abomination unto you*
13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,
14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
15 Every raven after his kind;
16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckow, and the hawk after his kind,
17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle,
19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
21 Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;
22 Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
24 And for these ye shall be unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcase of them shall be
unclean until the even.
25 And whosoever beareth ought of the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
26 The carcases of every beast which divideth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
27 And whatsoever goeth upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcase shall be unclean until the even.
28 And he that beareth the carcase of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
29 These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
30 And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
31 These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.

Poor lobster in the supermarket 😢. Thank you for rescuing Leon . Greetings from Germany 🙋🏻♀️🥰
Greetings from the South US. Thank you for watching. ✌️✌️✌️🦞
That claw comparison was really nice to see. He's become a big boy!
🇬🇧 UK fan who enjoys Leon's videos and updates.
Lol
So cute I could just eat him up, just kidding, not really😊
They come in a wide variety of colors and patterns and can change over time with sheds. Even some dramatic patterns like two different colors/patterns split down the middle. I think most people just think of the red cooked color when they think of lobsters. He does appear to have some blue highlights in places.
I was thinking the same thing, to me he looks a little blue
I'm assuming that its like lizards.
when they're healthier and growing, their colors deepen and vary.
theres something very fun about giving something that wasn't meant to be a pet the full pet lifestyle, compete with some fancy roommates. love how big and strong leon has gotten. what a guy
Catching up on the life of Leon, and loving every second! Just in case you don't know, this video didn't make it into the "all episodes" playlist. I found it in your videos tab though, so it isn't a big deal. Just happy to see how well Leon is doing since being rescued and adopted. ❤❤
I think of Leon everytime I see a store lobster.
Leon won Powerball.
I no longer eat lobster. Leon is a huge reason why.
I think the same thing when I buy feeder goldfish for my pond.
@@greatplainsman3662 that's great! 👍🎖
Lobsters Cats and Tigers are similar you can't eat any of they.
I love Leon and love how's he grown 🖤🖤🖤
Last night I was thinking, "I wonder when the next Leon video will come out." You must have read my mind.
I forget which species of crab it is, but when it's time to molt, they gather together in great numbers. They then take turns shedding to protect each other. Those with stronger shells are on top, while those who just shed or are in the process of doing so are on the bottom of the pile. It could very well be protection on the part of the larger crab.
Spider crabs!
They even protected the spy crab in their midst!
@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist5 repent to the Crab God
@@kwarra-anall hail the crab
Many crabs can only mate after shedding. It might be a crab orgy.
So I cannot stand seeing lobsters at restaurants and grocery stores cruelly awaiting death. So so wonderful watching this rescue! He looks just beautiful and happy! You truly brought one of God's creatures back to life!
Me too, anche io 🙏🏻💙🦞
Brady
I continue to be astonished with your care and compassion for all your creatures.... Especially LEON! The selection of music, the close-up photography, and technical knowledge of the needs of each is impressive.... And a learning experience for us .. Many THANKS.
I do enjoy your "side trips" as well.
Looking forward to your next episodes. LEON LOVE🦞
Leon needs to go vegan! How can you be so hypocritical by approving of Leon eating other living beings??
@@MichaelRei99 Please quit being a troll
@@ryanwaldrop2473when people stop giving simplistic sea creatures human attributes I will stop.
Your hands in the pictures gives perspective to the size of Leon and the crabs. They are all bigger than I had imagined!
Leon may not be able to say it in words, but I think he really does appreciate the safety of his new home and the kindness you show to him every day.
Wow, Leon sure has grown! His shell is darker and I notice more blues in there, what a beautiful creature!
I'm sorry but lobsters just aren't cute, this is coming from a true animal lover who appreciates all God's creatures. But lobsters aren't cute and I have no idea how people can actually eat them. They remind me of huge cockroaches, lol
But yes, a very heart warming story
@@JaneCooper190072Well, God says Leon is indeed cute- plays no favorites LOL... 🙏 💕
It's amazing how pissed Leon looked when you put him in the blue bucket. I didn't realise lobsters have such a big range of emotions that can be shown on their face. You can clearly see when he is happy or curious or afraid or now pissed.
Haven’t seen Leon video for the longest time. So enjoyable, relaxing and informative. Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! Thanks for checking back in on Leon. ✌️✌️✌️🦞
Thank you.
Any lobster dinner Fortunately and this is because intelligent people don't be evil🙏🏻💙🦞
@@GinoRigoni You do realize that Leon would eat his own claw if served to him.
@@MichaelRei99
What’s your point?
what a beautiful boy he's become 🖤
Do you have plans for someone to take care of Leo whenever your time on Earth is complete?? I've read the longest living lobster in captivity lived to be 140 years old !!! They can last a very long time and you take such great care of him. LOVE watching your videos🤩
Don’t you worry. I’ll take care of Leon. In my belly!!
@@MichaelRei99you need to worry. Us viewers are going to eat YOU.
@@MichaelRei99 Why are you even here?
They can live much longer than this as well they sadly get to a size where they cant molt properly and pass away from the struggle.
@@TheGuardianssorrowwhy are you here? It’s pretty obvious why I’m here.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how gorgeous the kitties are, too? :)
I just discovered this series of Leon videos last evening & I have already subscribed and become very entertained by your very well thought out video presentations. I will now back track to see your other than Leon videos too. Thanks for this very special content.
Awesome!!! Thank you so much for checking out the videos. Much appreciated! ✌️✌️✌️
Jett is getting so big! I’m so glad to see him doing so well
❤ I love Leon. He has become a beautiful lobster since you rescued him.
How wonderful he's doing so well anf so big now!!!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Awesome new tank! ❤❤❤
About time that Leon faced some consequences for his non-payment of rent! 😂🦂❤️
😂😂😂 great comment 👍🏻
Harsh, considering his excellent contribution to the channel!
Charity can only last for so long
Second that 😂
steak and lobster
Poor Leon must've thought he was being transported to a store again. You take amazing care of all your pets, love it!
@@neasulavuori4955 I do believe it too.
I thought the exact same thing - poor Leon had some deja vu about the first time he was caught!
Poor lobsters 🙏🏻💙🦞
I usually don’t watch the same RUclipsrs videos for years but I am still fascinated by yours

Because of Leon, no more lobster, ever.❤
What does it mean?
@@Medabee8 it means in my opinion, Lobsters have souls too, thats why i won' t eat one ever again.
That’s ok I’ve more than made up the difference!!
I’m with you. We too had a rescue lobster for about 18 months. Unfortunately he didn’t survive a shell change for some reason. He was just as much of a pet as our dog. 🦞
@@MichaelRei99 Mike....really?

I like Leon's blue hues/highlights. I think they get more vibrant with each molt.
Oh no, he found the secret snack stash! Going to have to start over, oh well
It’s a funny thing with watching your videos on Leon. I’ve never seen lobster anything other than a delicious meal. After watching your videos, I’m seeing them for what they truly are, a living creature with lots of personality.
But lobsters are so delicious! Have you got lost your mind dude? 🤣🦞😏
Thank for the update great work thanks again
His claws are so big and healthy! He really has become a very healthy absolutely beautiful lobster.
Happy to see that Mr. Leon is still with us. Friend, you’ve done well🥰 I love Leon the lobby Lobster🦞
Having a rough weekend and some gentle, caring content from Brady is just what I needed. ❤
I hope you have a better week ❤
Yup, always soothing, I know the feeling and then always a Leon Video seems to drop like clockwork, Same with "Walter Santi" and his cat stories ,I follow
Jett got so big! I love his fluffy tail. All the cats seem to love Leon just like all of us do! I'm happy Leon is enjoying his renovated sea-condo! ❤❤
It's amazing that even lobsters, crabs, and shrimp have little personalities I've learned so much watching you. Thank you. ❤
no they do not have personalities they are acting instinctively.
@@MichaelRei99 piss off
@@MichaelRei99 A lot of personality traits are exactly that, just pure instinct XD
No emotion.

Very interesting Leon didn't struggle when you loaded him in the net to put him back in his aquarium. Almost like he knew where he was going.
Love this channel - bless you both
Leon's so huge now! and so are the kitties! Who knew Jet would become a gorgeous long hair? When the little crab hid under the big one, it sure did seem like a parent and child situation. Though more likely, the little one probably thought the big one was a rock and the big one's too confused to take any offensive action towards it. You've made a fascinating world for yourself, Brady! I have seen the stolen leon designs, unfortunately. All the more reason to share this channel so all lobster lovers know they can support you and Leon instead!

Yeah, but all lobsters must be pet friends, and not other suck things
He was basically like a cat/dog with their holder. They will fight to no enter it when going to the vet, but when going back they are more than happy to enter it :D
Leon looks awesome!
I believe Leon is now too large to be harvested, so if you ever needed to, you could release him, and he will be safe.
I can’t believe I’ve been watching a lobster story for the last year and a half, it’s been a wild ride, and thank you for making this.
He definitely is too big. I looked at the measuring tape and looked at the mark between his eye "sockets" and the end of his carapace, and it was approximately 4 inches. The smallest lobster you can harvest is 3.25 inches between the eye sockets and end of the carapace.
NEVER set him free because sea or ocean isn't a safe place for lobsters for sure, one day lobsters be pets and I pray every single day for this 🙏🏻💙🦞
