You can't help but like this guy. He finally growing up....in a business where many people never do. Also, a superb drummer....he was fantastic at the John Bonham tribute concert.
I am so glad that he's happy and he manned up. He admits to his mistakes and honestly and openly says that he would like to get the band together. Unlike the other band members who just say "No way we'll ever get back together". Thant's why I always loved steve, he has always been honest (even more lately) and positive! :)

It’s common to have facial surgery after a stroke, even in the interview Steven’s face is not completely symmetrical, and some muscles on one side of the face are contracted others are too relaxed, it’s a phenomenon called spasticity, it happens after a stroke. Sometimes to fix the excessive spasticity on a specific area it’s needed surgery, mainly to cut the nerves that send the spasticity input to the muscles or to cut the nerves that create spasms or clonus uncontrollable movements. It’s also used to get Botox injections to weaken the still spastic muscles sectors. These procedures are valid and used for every place where the stroke hit doing most of the damages. In some cases it’s also added lifelong treatment with muscles relaxers like Baclofen.

I've met him, seen his band, and he's back on top of things. And one of the coolest most humble stars you will ever meet. So chill out on the bashin. That's all that Steven ever wanted was to be friends with Slash again. I don't think they ever will be all chummy friends like they were before but RNRHOF was a good way for the old band to reconnect again.
No beer for any of them! Slash has been sober for years, and drink nearly killed Duff. Enough is enough and they're lucky to still be alive, and we're lucky to still have them.

I did and I still feel it every day! I never said it before,but there is no happiness in Drugs and that includes alcohol if not used in moderation.He's right it's hard as hell to die by alcohol/drugs when you want to.i too crippled myself my ankle is screws and plates.

6 years too late but they talked about the drum fill at the end of paradise city - where he goes doubles on the hands and a single kick I believe.
