Nice video! My JL shade didn’t come with instructions or the assist strap so this video is going to be very helpful for those of us who didn’t get everything in their package!
I have been looking at the new JLIini for my 2018 JLU and it only overs the area the freedom panels, no real crazy about how you get to the handles to secure the panels as I wish they had did cutouts for all of them but it’s a trade off I guess, I more than likely will get one and see what happens, gotta be nice to have on a hot sunny day.
Awesome! The mesh tops are must once you have one. Makes 95 feel like 80-85. I just traded my JKU, so I’m trying to swallow the 200$ pill. Maybe if they print something on it, the cost will fell more justified. Other than that it was 50 yesterday and that’s top down temps. Once 80 hits my wife demands the shade up. Thanks man! -Marty

How do the rubber seals of the freedom panels look? I'm wondering since the bungee cords are between the frame and the rubber seals. Do you think it could cause leakage in the long term?
I DON'T WANT TO GET ONE BECAUSE I AM WORRIED ABOUT THE SAGGING. IT LOOKS LIKE YOURS WAS SAGGING IN THE FRONT. I DON'T WANT IT SAGGIN DOWN AT ALL. IT WILL SOME RIGHT ?
Just so everyone knows, you don't have to take the wipers off, just tilting the windshield gives you enough room.
hmm... can't use this if you have rollbard padding - the silver nubs will be covered....

how much of a gap is there in the front ? about 1 inch or does it go all the way to the front and touch ?
Funny I found this video for the shade install on my JL then I spot a Runaway camper. I have one as well!

There is enough space between the hard top and freedom panels and the roll bar for the bungees to fit.
