Sunshade is high quality and easy to install if your lower the windshield a bit. A partner holding the windshield out slightly helps. We did not remove the back top and had no issues with the installation. Freedom panels are a bit more difficult to remove and replace with the shade on, not a major issue. Wind noise did not change at all according to our dB meter. Overall a very nice product and the video helps with the installation....just lower the windshield....
Love my alien shade. So great for the sun. Cuts down on wind too.

Nice video, I bought and installed Alien Sunshades today. At 6’ 2”, my head pushes up into the shade while in the driver’s seat. :/ I think it’s just due to the fact that they sit inside the frame instead of on top. Not complaining, but just wanted to give other “tall” people a “heads up”.
I was told this is one of the first mods I should get for my new Jeep. So i just grabbed it and used your code! Thanks for sharing! My bald head will thank you this summer.

I love my 2 piece alien sunshade on my jkur,on the jk u don't have to remove top to install just have a close hanger handy, I went with light blue to match my Cosmo blue jeep paint, tailgate where I put my stickers also, Indiana weather pretty much same as ohio
I did this with the feeder plastic they provided your method is much easier..

Can you use on JUST the front?
Just got a Jeep Wrangler and was researching for one of these. Got a question though, for the black sunshade; do you feel more heat when the sun is out? Since it’s black, I figured it would attract more UV rays and I’m contó playing on getting the steel blue to match my paint job on my Jeep. Thanks in advance!

Quite a gap at the front end tword the windshield...any way to situate it forward more cuz I feel like sun is gonna get thru that perfectly into your eyes!
How is it when you put the top back on?
I got the 2 piece also and I really like the 2 piece shade but I dont like the gap it has in the front on the front shade like yours also has. i wish they would make it a little wider so there was no gap in the front of the front shade by the top of the wind shield. do you know what i am talking about Ben ? but i will keep using it
Ben I noticed your left rear fender flair isnt straight? , is it suppose to sit that why? ,being a jeep owner i look at every jeep that goes by, and noticed other jeep flairs are straight??

Ben on the rear shade i did use 4 bungees. i think i will try the 2 like you did. are the 2 that you used for the front and rear shade the 18 inch bungees ? looks like it gets it closer to the sound bar but then it still has the little gap in the back of the rear shade. dont you think they could have made the shades a little wider by about 2 inchs ?
Hi all, someone on Marketplace is selling a new front sunshade for a JK. Would it fit my 2019 JL? I can’t see much difference from the photos
Ben I too love my alien two-piece shade I will not put a one piece on it makes it look like a hump well over the soundbar but I have a problem and I noticed it's on yours too you cannot get the front any tighter to get that Gap out by the sun visor. I noticed it's on yours to you have about a 2 to 3in Gap from the top of the windshield to the front of the front shade I hate that people always comment on it saying why is it short hair if there's too much Gap it doesn't have to be like that because it can still touch the front of the windshield and you can still get your fingers in there and undo the latches and locks and back for the freedom tops. Most of the one pieces go all the way in touch but I don't want to one piece I guess it's something I'm going to have to live with do you know what I'm talking about I see it on yours in the picture I wish I could post a picture here even with the sun visor up you still see it it's like a two to three inch Gap when I contacted them they told me it's all and ingesting it you can't put it in the middle because lutherville bungee cord that hooks on the front of the windshield is almost too long it needs to be shorter so I can pull it tighter to the front do you know I'm talking about why can't that Gap be gone in the front of the front shade. Do you know what I'm talking about?

I don’t think they will interfere, I think it will fit under just like the it does for the hard top
tried going to the amazon website that you had listed, and it didn't give the alien sunshade, it gave another brand, and your link for the alien website didn't work either

It’s ok, if you’re driving with a small drizzle it does a nice job. Heavier rain not so much
I don't understand how your head is not touching the shade in the driver seat if you're 5'11". I'm 5'10" and I have the driver seat down as far as it will go in my 2018 JL, and my head still touches the shade.

The thing already comes with a sun shade stock, it's called the roof... Never understood the point of taking the top off, just to cover it back up with another one, lol

i hate my 2 piece its the way alien made it. you have the big in the front that other shades don't. they are out of business now but im getting rid of mine to much o gap in the front with about 2 or 3 inches just like yours does in the video. it can be longer in he front and still get to the handles but they just made it to short and looks stupid with thT 3 INCH GAP IN THE FRONT LIKE MINE AND YOURS HAS

Alien sunshade went out of business and some idiot took it over with 0 regard for quality. As of April 2021, their fit is a disgrace. It doesn’t fit.

This is a great video and demonstration! I just bought a white 2013 Wrangler Unlimited MOAB Edition and started looking into sunshades for this Florida heat. So far I think this is the best is the one out of all the other brands. I like the 2pc setup definitely a good way to go for the 4 door.
