Here in Europe it's 539 EUR (on sale, 599 regular). For 710 (on sale, 799 regular) you can get the P1X (which IMO is the better value per buck, also includes their feet).
Their customer service so far for me has been subpar at best. I ordered the new P1X-Pro the day it went up for preorder. It was suppose to ship the last week in October. I contacted them on the 31st to see if it was shipped and then said they were finalizing the order and it would be shipped in the next few days. That was 19 days ago. I contacted them 11/16 to ask them if it shipped and they have yet to respond. If I dont hear from them or have the P1X-Pro at my door by 11/24 I am going to ask for a refund. I am extremely disappointed with them considering most consider them to be the pinnacle of sim rigs.
@@boodybandit Oh, sorry to hear that. Hopefully you'll get it soon. Paying hundreds of dollars for some aluminum and not getting it must be frustrating.
@@bigdoge it ended well. I not only got it but not one bolt was missing and every piece of as immaculate. I liked it so much once I put it together. I went to a local Microcenter and got the Tony Kanaan version of the PX1 Pro. Fantastic rig.
The design looks a lot like Next Level Racing F-GT Elite, especially the slanted pillars and pedal deck linked with the them. The problem with F-GT Elite is that you can't push away or pull closer the pedal deck without moving the wheel base. If you are tall or short, it's very hard to adjust it to your content. I wonder if this GT1 Pro rig has the same problem, maybe your height is just within their designed range so you didn't notice that particularly.
700$ without the seat? The GT Omega Prime Lite is that price, with the best seat they offer and seat slider... Have you tried one to see the comparison?
I've been looking for this setup in the US but t's so difficult to find as they don't to the US. After speaking to them direct they won't ship seats out of the EU which is a shame.
hey @OC Racing first thx for your content about all the sim stuff, nice review also, ive a question, i am relatively new to sim racing i build my own alu rig but unfortunately I have a problem I'm quite short (170cm) and at 110kg I'm also overweight(sorry bad englisch) I'm looking for a suitable seat for myself, Unfortunately I can't really try one because there isn't a shop for something like this anywhere near here. Do you have any ideas or tips on what I can do in this case? Seat without rail and console maximum price around 400 € some ideas. first of all thx and best regards from germany. Fossy
It completely baffles me why people spend so much money on setups like this with a 'real' race bucket seat, you are stationary, you don't need head restraints! Bucket seats are so uncomfortable, bad for posture and over expensive, just get a real car seat cheap second hand and enjoy comfort plus durability not to mention many car seats offer height adjust as well as lumber and even electric adjust! Luxury for a fraction of the price of a bucket seat! I run a driver seat for a Peugeot 308, cost me £25, its as good as new, has height adjust, plus on original runners so easy forward/backward movement, lumber adjust and back support angle, padded headrest plus being from a 3 door has the handle on side to quickly slide seat forward which is great for freeing up space when not in use!
Your video about the TR8 pro sim rig from track racer did you use the bucket seat the rally seat or the recline seat or all three? And which do you recommend since we're both 5'7 lol?
How did you mount your samsung g9? i just got mine and wanted to mount it to my rig (vesa mount), but the screws for mounting it are very thin. Im concerned it wont hold the weight
@@jonneymendoza Awkwardness of adjustability your not only adjusting on one axis anymore. More so the move away from the right angle standard and reduced compatibility of "industry standard" addon components.
Hi, yes it does, but the front mounting bracket mounts directly onto the flat wheel plate itself. If you look at the photos on the SimLab website you’ll know what I’m talking about
Did SimLab made a lot of cockpits? Because I assume that they are rather new brand? Hopefully they will listen to your feedback mainly for the seat adjustment, like I understand that it might be due to a focus on stability and rigidity, but honestly that pedal mounting flex had me personally concerned, for instance I do not mind a wheel mount flexing but moving pedals or any flex in that part makes me almost feel like falling or losing stability and is a huge focus killing factor for me. Also, are you using that shifter which you have reviewed in previous video because you are supposed to, or... naah man, it is really good, isnt it? 😀 Just by looking at it in previous video I am almost certain that once I can, I will buy it.
SimLab has been around for a while actually. They were the first company to release an aluminum profile cockpit. Flex on the pedal mount was minimal and that was when I was literally kicking my extremely stiff pedal so I don’t reckon it’s much of an actual problem. As per the shifter, yes it’s good and I’ve been using it nonstop recently hahaha
Ok, so I WILL answer my own question, which I have found the answer to on your official simlab site: the seat slider is an additional option which cam be selected when purchasing the cockpit ... 🤷♂️
I'm curious - you have a (killer) shifter, but not a handbrake? On what cars do you drive - that do require H-shifter but not a handbrake? Do you do ralley? Hey! One of my favorite things to do is drive H-pattern cars around the Nordschliefe or open-world maps with cars like a Lotus Elise, 911's, Miata's, and other manual sports cars. As a result, I don't need a handbrake since all I'm doing is crusing/track driving, and rarely drifting/rallying or anything of that sort. Good question!

I think Simlab's customer service is somewhat decent so you can send the seat back if you are a normal customer buying a seat. 😊

The rear mounts of the pedal deck are anchored to the wheel base frame.
