In the comics, Sabretooth is Wolverine’s oldest, and most hated, adversary, as well as his half-brother. They also basically have the same powers: super strength, super speed, super agility, very heightened senses, super-increased healing factor, and much denser skeleton, but Sabretooth’s claws are just his fingernails that can grow out and retract like Wolverine’s claws. Wolverine was given the adamantium first, but Sabretooth got it eventually too.
@@kennyhudson9201, In ‘Wolverine: Origins’, the character of ‘Dog’ is hinted at being Sabertooth, and the movie: ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’, states that they’re half-brothers. The comics were originally going to have Sabertooth be revealed as being Wolverine’s father, but they never got around to making the story, and other writers have said that maybe they are and others have said that they aren’t, so we’re both right.
I'm glad you reacted to this movie. I've been a fan of the X-Men since I was 12...I'm 59 now. Stan Lee created the X-Men in 1963. Prof. X and Magneto have been compared to MLK and Malcolm X. Stan Lee designed them that way. The X-Men has come to represent all people who are, and have been, shunned by society. I've always been a Magneto fan.
The X-Men "mutant registration act" stories are about much more than "shunned" people, because you can also compare it to gun registration/restriction laws. "Are people criminalised (by the government) for HAVING POWERS (guns) or are they only criminalised for COMMITTING CRIMES?" Sadly [D] politicians and voters seem to focus only on the former while ignoring the latter ... for ideological reasons. Babylon 5 has a slightly different but strict approach for telepaths ... and shows how that can go really wrong.
