Just found you two & loving what you’re sharing. I’m a mama to 6 kiddos ages 10-21 (oldest is getting married in May 2024🎉🎉). I was pregnant & nursing all 6 of my babies within 10 year period & im struggling to shed 80-100 pounds & want & NEED to lower my A1C & I want to reverse diabetes. I’m on blood pressure meds too…not cool for a 43 yr old busy, active, hardworking, business owning & homeschooling mama. I’m excited to learn more from you. Over the years I’ve tried so many things to shed weight & have done extreme cut out gluten, dairy, sugar for 6-8 months in 2019 then my brother died by suicide & I dropped that way of eating. In 2021 I did whole 30 for 3 months along with plant paradox…that was amazing! Didn’t lose much weight but felt better. Just discovered my ferritin is a 4 and it explains why I was falling over at 6pm needing naps & couldn’t keep up with all our biking trips all summer…been on iron blood builder 5-6 weeks and it’s been life changing. All this to say…when our bodies are missing the proper nutrients & our system is out of whack it does matter. My progesterone is at 0.5. I was taking a progesterone pill (it’s the wild yam). But I couldn’t function due to falling asleep with that,. Right now focusing on getting the ferritin & Vit b up so I can workout again & Lord willing get this weight off!!! I pray something works for me to shed the weight bc I can cut out all the things and months on end not see scale drop. It’s SO frustrating! I do have Adenomyosis which was just told in October that only “cure” is hysterectomy. I’m determined to heal my body as much as possible & hopefully not need hysterectomy. (Adenomyosis makes my stomach look pregnant 6-9 months some days/week out of month…super frustrating). I guess a 15cm uterus will do that. Again thanks for sharing. I’m looking forward to learning more of your content & I keep praying for wisdom for what to do for my body to be healthier & get fit & reverse and prevent disease! God Bless you two! Such a beautiful couple😊. My sweet hubby & I have been married 24 years in Sept & my dream is fit into my wedding gown at our 25th wedding anniversary next year…this is more for me than him…after every pregnancy I’ve tried to squeeze into my wedding gown…ugh! lol. It’s just a goal for me to know I’m on a healthier/fit track when I can see myself fit into my gown again it’ll be a reward!!!! Such a bummer I used to think I was fat when I got married…I can’t wait to be that weight again😊. Hope this post blesses another mama out there…never give up on researching & taking care of you! We get so busy taking care of everyone else…and i love taking care of my family but I want to take care of me so I’m here for my hubby & our 6 kiddos for many many many years to come. My prayer is we grow very old together with all our children & theirs etc. ❤. I’d love to pay it forward and share all my coaching tips with others but my health has been priority so that I can have energy to do all things I love, I will get there!! Have a blessed day!!!! Blessings, Shannon.

I hope you have some info (studies/research)on wild yam cream. I used it when I had fibroid and it cleared it up then iv'e used it for menstruation and menopause. Its super easy to use and natural. So when my daughters are complaining of painful periods.I hand them my jar and they say it helps. I had PCOS for years and didn't know about yam cream until the last 10 years or so..but at least I found it in time to help the fibroid and menopause

We do not have more information on Yam cream, but do on PCOS. PCOS is typically driven by insulin problems. We recommend rotational fasting! Check out this video: ruclips.net/video/bnV1HXxqkvE/видео.html -LGD Team

I had a total hysterectomy at age 25 due to Endometriosis. Haven't taken HRT in several years. My weight seems to be glued on with super glue no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

I've had a complete hysterectomy because they thought i had ovarian cancer. Thankfully I didn't have cancer but i have to take HRT. The saddest part is they only give you estrogen. I know it takes more than just estrogen. I'm using the EString ring every 3 months and i have to buy it from Canada becomes because the prices are so high here and medicare doesn't cover it. It is outrageous the price difference per country.

So thankful you didn’t have ovarian cancer!!!!! Sorry to hear about hysterectomy though. I just had a scare…the Nurse practioner was concerned that I had uterine c but praising the Lord it’s just adenomyosis which I say “just” bc I’m thankful it’s not life threatening but they said only cure is hysterectomy. I’m doing what I can to hopefully not get that but the relief would be great to not look & feel 6-9 months pregnant throughout month 😢. I never heard of Estring ring. Have you needed any other meds since?

@LadiesofPurposeTV I hate to hear that you will need a hysterectomy, but hopefully, you won't need a complete. If you keep your ovaries, you will still have your hormones. They have only given me estrogen replacement just different types over the years. The EString is great if you get urinary leakage after the hysterectomy because it will plump up your lady parts. After turning 55 , I suddenly gained weight, diagnosed with diabetes and it doesn't make sense. I don't eat much....usually just 1 or 2 meals. I eat healthier and take supplements. But it is a hormone problem, and most Dr's don't care.

Yep. Heat reduces nutrients of food made. Flash frozen food and then high heat also reduces nutrients available . Fabricated oils also limiting nutrients . Many limitations of food being made therefore even creating healthy food nutrients . Seems challenging to eat nutrition foods verses desert foods that are made with zero nutrients and create problems for humans.
It is indeed possible to have nutrient food without having problem ingredients for humans . The solution is look at the root problem . Design of healthy nutrients that taste good!

I’d recommend asking your question on the ASK DLG Show. They are every Wednesday at 8:30 am EST. You can always ask health questions in the Challenge Crews! If you haven't joined the Lifestyle yet, you can check it out here! go.drlivingood.com/Lifestyle-Membership We always recommend if you have specific concerns with a pre-diagnosed condition and/or your medication that you consult with your physician. This also applies to changing the dosages of your medication and discontinuing usage. -LGD Team
