The 1998 run was MJ's most impressive title run because that team was running on fumes. They wouldn't have won it the following years. Scottie missed 38 games. Kerr missed like 32. Rodman was on his last legs.

Jerry Krause has been dead for 3 years but we shouldn't make him the scapegoat and antagonist to all this. The 1994 Bulls still won 55 games with Pete Myers replacing MJ as the starting shooting guard! Pete Myers! 🤣

Jerry Krause cost the Bulls 5 or 6 more rings in the 2000’s because with Phil leaving to The Lakers Kobe could have been a Chicago Bull having an extended version of MJ in the near future for the organization of Phil Jackson career had they kept him & Jerry K understanding his role keeping his mouth shut. Just think about it Kobe and Shaq could have been Bulls. Then missed another shot adding Lebron, Wade, Carmelo at the tail end of Kobe’s era which could have been even more rings on top. I mean a total of 15 NBA championships through the 90’s, 2000’s, & 2010’s if not more. Bulls are the dumbest organization to let Phil Jackson go. Bulls could have been the New York Yankees of the NBA.

Sun Rise still it’s the same situation which is my point, both players left their organizations because of terrible front offices. Besides Jordan retired because he was old almost 35 and felt like he accomplished everything he could already. Had this situation happened when he was 25 he still would’ve left the bulls but obviously not retired

My question is why didn't the Chicago Bulls Owner get involved in preventing GM Jerry Krause from breaking up the team?
The Chicago Bulls Owner is also responsible for letting his GM Jerry Krause break up the team.
Did the Owner approve of it? Or was the Chicago Bulls Owner misinformed about it too late?
Someone please answer these questions for me?. Help me understand the behind the scenes...

Krause did trade Oakley for Cartwright. That was key for the Bulls getting past the Pistons. He at least deserves that credit.

    • @1D4ever

Your kidding right Cartwright was a below average center who quickly declined Oakley was on his way up it was a terrible trade.

Romeo Williams Isaiah Thomas 30 yrs, Joe Dumars 28 yrs, Dennis Rodman 30 yrs, Their 3 best players that year were still in their primes. Jordan was 35 yrs old, Scottie Pippen was 32 yrs, Dennis Rodman was 37 yrs old and they still won the Championship in 98. Stop with that weak excuse that the Pistons were too old.

  • @EM-ny4dx

GM Jerry Krause did this intentionally because of the disrespects he got from the Chicago Bulls team. This was his way of getting back at all of them for their put downs and making fun of him. He said within himself this is revenge. I made you now I will break you apart. So long, bye bye...

  • @deaddropholiday

You have to laugh at the back-to-front logic at work here. Shannon concedes that when working the calculus for getting rid of the coach (not to mention the best player) or getting rid of the GM - the latter always loses. And in this case there should be no doubt whatsoever. Which tells you there were OTHER dynamics at work here which are not being talked about. I find it interesting that this series could have been made a loooong time ago. Yet it wasn't. Why? Obviously because Jerry Krause is dead. And dead men tell no tales.
