What did you think of the first two episodes of “The Last Dance”?
1st
Man. This is my hero. I loved every minute I watched.
It was pretty good. Kinda slow, I feel most of the stuff covered so far is kinda well known except for some of the Pippen stuff. I think it’s gonna get WAY better
The Herd with Colin Cowherd I think a new generation of kids will be influenced by this in the way they approach the game and practice
This is the Best Colin take of 2020.
Great commentary, people need to get over "mean tweets" (shots at KD?) This is excellent.
It took a Michael Jordan documentary for Colin to finally say he respects Westbrook 🤦🏻♂️😂
170 likes no comments this was the truth lol
Thing is when everything goes rough,
MJ went to the gym, Lebron went to another team.
shucks yoo this is the realest statement ive heard in awhile
mj had plans to leave the bulls and join another team.
made a contract for X reason.
MJ had a contract..he couldnt leave at that moment in time.
have facts before trying to say something.
and Lebron still lost. Lmao
And that sums up Lebrons' career. Good comment.
@@BrotherO4 bruh he won 6 for one organization, thats why he's the goat, im not even willing to put lebron in 2nd to mike, id put magic, kobe, and bird in that convo, because they weren't ring chasers. Now go ahead and tell me about how those three almost left. Keyword almost.
Literally the best take Colin has ever had in his career.
I just posted the same.
Could not agree more 👍🏼
I agree. Actually gave me goosebumps
Facts
Exactly what I was thinking as I watched this. It’s uncanny. Lol
I’m proud of you Colin. You finally told the truth.
Legend has it the the 'rona is a truth serum.
Fuddyduddie1 finally I agree with Colin 💯
He’s always said MJ was the greatest. He likes Lebron more.
Backhand compliment much?
Brian Cox nope just brutally honest.
Thank you Michael J for all those great memories. An absolute Legend!
I get goosebumps back then and today every time I hear The Chicago Bulls intro music & announcer and I’m a 34 yrs Warriors fan 🐐
"C-cuz somebody sent ya - a mean tweet eeheheheheheheh"! 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
He gave Westbrook his due?👀 is this a fake video ??
This Pandemic changed a lot
😂
I agree
It truly is the end of the world.
He kinda play like a young MJ
Go onto MJs bio and stats and look at how many 82 games he played. Its amazing. He never took a night off and then played all the way through the playoff and finals. Amazing.
He only takes years off!
MJ is the Goat been saying this forever
Jake Grado hahaha like it’s such an unheard of opinion 😂
Jake Grado nah, it’s Chamberlain
Lebron > MJ

Jordan needed Robin, but LeBron needed Justice League. That's the difference between Jordan and LeBron

oSo_KewL WIT_IT not really Refs just didn’t call fouls as much
And Lebron played against guys with unlimited range freaks of nature such as steph curry, Giannis and Kevin durant
@@michaelokon989 stop it now.. Why does LeBron need to be #1? I put him at #5 and there nothing wrong with that. Is it because he's from your generation? LeBron had a hard time playing 82 games a year in he's career. Most of the time he doesn't play defense.
@@michaelokon989 players had range, it wasnt accepted back then to throw up a 35 foot shot. Coach would've benched you
@@darrellhardy90 the accuracy at the range was much worse very few players even had good percentages of 40 plus with just spot up shooting let alone making their own shot beyond the three point line. If they were making the shots coaches would let them.
Glad this documentary refreshed Colin's memory cause I remember him trying to downplay Jordan's path to prop up the Jordan vs Lebron debate. All of us that grew up with watching Jordan in the 80s and 90s saw exactly why we all concretely say he's the best that will ever play the game. He played against tons of hall of famers and stacked teams and prevented so many greats from winning a championship. There's a reason Jordan shoes sell like hotcakes to this very day. The Jordan era when guys played hard every game is what we mean by old school. Much respect to that era who didn't make nearly as much these modern players but didn't need load management
There is no need to compare, MJ is the only one GOD of NBA.
Appreciated your take on this one Colin. I disagree with a lot of things you say on here, but it was refreshing to see you put Westbrook in a positive light and appreciate MJ's greatness. He had a tougher road more than people think. He's the GOAT.
About damn time! Westbrook is a stone cold killer.
Yes, finally said something good about Russ
Call me Dante He has before. Y’all just didn’t catch it.
Ive played a few poker sessions with Westbrook in Vegas and LA.
jon mulvihill can’t close tho 🤷🏾♂️
I honestly believe if the 2012 OKC Thunder has stayed together they would have at least gotten a championship out in the last few years
This is probably the best I’ve seen from this guy.
Yes kids out there, JUST DEAL WITH IT!
Colin, in 97-98, pippen was missing for basically half a season and the Bulls still went 24-12. And it's not that Jordan couldn't carry the bulls to a great record without Pippen.... It's that team chemistry is so important and Pippen's job was the glue guy. You take that away and the team has to rediscover it's roles. Remember when 3 of the top 5 players in the league in Lebron, Wade, and Bosh were getting losses after losses? It certainly didn't have to do with talent.. they were loaded, but they took a while to figure out how to play together. That is amplified in a system where Jordan played off ball and Pippen took over the point role. There's all sorts of communication rotations and plays that need to be revamped.
Anyone who made the Last Dance episodes is a genius. Colin suddenly come to his senses for a second I thought it is the end of the world
That 98 Jazz 🎵 team beat the Hakeem/Drexler Rockets, Kobe/Shaq Lakers and Duncan/Robinson Spurs to get to the finals. MJ beat them almost single handedly 💯
That's an amazing resume and it proves how disrespected that Jazz team is.
lol those kobe/shaq lakers didn't have phil and weren't close to championship level, also that was a rookie duncan in the playoffs. Relax and he def didn't beat anyone single handedly did you not watch this last night? When scottie was out he struggled, never won anything without him.
That Rockets team was no joke either.
Yiup Duncan in his second year and Hakeem couldn’t beat anyone
It would have been amazing to see the Bulls come back in 99 and then you would have had Jordan’s Bulls vs Duncan/David Robinsons Spurs. That finals would have been great
MJ: True Goat.
That's the best take thus far on the documentary. Thank you Colin.
The truth came out at the right time, now deal with it young fellas. He’s one in a million.

Yep, sir you are absolutely correct. 👍
that's where you're gonna be wrong. Nobody's gonna talk about Lebron.
@@accountingsapayag that was my point
I agree, LeBron's finals record totally ruins it for me. He can't be the GOAT at 3-6 or 4-6. LeBron needed 6-0 or 6-1 or something to be in GOAT conversation.
@@NANOTECHYT The 2011 finals ruin it for Lebron in my opinion Jordan lost playoff series too the difference was Jordan never lost because he was terrible. Lebron did in the 2011 finals series

Not surprised Collin ain’t keeping that same energy
Thank you ESPN, finally putting an end to the 'LeBron = GOAT' heresy. Thank you for opening Colin's eyes to the greatness. The MT. Rushmore of Basketball is carvings of Magic, Wilt, LeBron, and whoever in stone. But, they are always just carvings. Michael Jordan is the Mount itself and everyone else will be compared to his Greatness!
what they don't realize is that whenever any other NBA player reaches that level, Lebron will not be in that conversation just as Kobe is not today...
Only the media say Jordan vs Lebron.
the reason why people wanna debate Lebron to MJ especially THESE days is ONLY because Lebron is sort of a best player over the last 10 years. thats it. BUT. He is not even close to MJ's greatness. Thats just the truth, NO MATTER how you look at it. He will NEVER be better than MJ
UltraWideGameplayVideos Lebron dragged BUMS to the finals for years, Jordan may be the best, but this automatic stuff is ridiculous.

UltraWideGameplayVideos thank you! It’s like getting a participation medal for being in the finals counts 😂
@@ASilentGuardian you're right.. It's kareem..
The fact that you don't include Larry Bird in the GOAT debate just shows your lack of understanding pure basketball as it should be played.
Keith Sullivan..I agree. Larry should be in that debate. Sadly, due to his injuries his prime was cut short.. but prime for prime I'd still take Larry over LeBron if I was building a team. LeBron's longevity is incredible but if I wanted to win a game give me Larry. MJ is the GOAT in my opinion but I don't think #2 is a lock and if people disagree about MJ I understand. Way too many greats get dismissed with these type of debates.
Finally old school Colin with a great take! Why all radio personalities are killin it in Quarantine time lol
Why is this a debate anymore Lebron is no where near to Jordan. When he lost his 5th Chip he was out of the conversation for me a long time ago
So Mike losing before 91 and in 95 to magic don't matter?
Who is behind mj? Pls dont say the adult child allen iverson.
ChiRilla no. 1. Because Jordan had zero help until pippen. Once he got help he never lost again until 95 when he played 16 regular season games. He was out of the game 2 years. Then came back and won 3 more straight. Lebron lost with a lot of help 6 out of 9 finals. Jordan never lost with another all star on his team. 2. Jordan never was the reason the bulls lost. He always lit it up. Lebron was the REASON the heat lost in 2011.
When he choked in the Dallas series that was it for me. Jordan would and never did that
@@joeledwards243 Could not have said it any better you are so on point with your statement I remember Lebron James against the Dallas Maverick letting J.J Barea and Jason Terry out play him being at the time already a 2 time MVP player also not to forget playing along side two order All Star future Hall of Famers In their prime Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on a heavy favorite Miami Heat team in one game LeBron James was only able to score 8 points and there were other games where he could not even score 20 points so miss me with the bulshit he has lost the argument to be called the goat years ago and that's the separation between him and Michael Jordan whole teams could not stop MJ

@@bushidobrown9706 yup, Kobe was awesome but you're exactly right. Too many other greats.
It wasn’t Jordan that signed the bad deal that was Pippen. Jordan was savvy when it came to contracts
yeah, but michael was heavily underpaid in the nba, until his final 2 seasons with the bulls where he made 33 million and 36 million to make up for being heavily underpaid. prior to those 2 years, he made about 70-80% of his money through his sneakers and big endorsement deals.
Can you Imagine if Jordan joined super teams after the bulls era

First time I've totally agreed with Colin!
Absolutely outstanding takes, Colin. Well done.
Great encouraging word!
Can you imagine Michael load managing lol.
Lol right!? He won’t even chill for a minute during practice. MJ is a beast all the time lol.
Yes. With smart load management, he probably gets an extra 4 cracks at #7. I don’t give a damn that he played 82 for however many seasons. The regular season is meaningless and the “kawhi method” maximizes your number of chances at a championship without materially sacrificing the your chances on each title attempt
Yeah he Retired Twice!!! MJ started load management. Scottie never retired early!!!
James tyson lol. He trained for baseball then had to train again for basketball. I think he did more harm than good for his body. Did really well for his mind though. His dad was murdered which was what lead him to retire the first time.
