I lost my oldest son 2016 he was 21 he struggled with mental health for yrs. I had to tell his lil brother n I was there watching my son tell his brother good bye. That is a pain you never forget. I see my son struggle with same stuff.

Im sure you've been told this countless times and rightly so, but i have to add myself to that list.
I wasn't sure how the story of the band would go so im made up that you all got to experience such a fantastic positive experience without all the other crap that usually comes with it.

Just watching this video again. Such a mix of emotions . . . seeing you smash the gig and imagining you at Glastonbury in the uk and then seeing your raw emotion coming to terms with losing your big bro.
I truly hope you can believe now that there wasn't anything you or anyone else could do.

Tl;dr John you're amazing person. Talent and determination with a heart. There's no better story out there.
I've avoided watching this for a few days as I was worried about my own reaction to this part of your story; life, my life has taken almost all my ability to cry save for a very few (specific context) situations. I don't necessarily like that feeling but it's become my normal and better than the pain from this lifetime.
The way you're telling your story though, it crashed right through that wall this morning. With tears running down my face, I just wanted you to know a few things:
1. You've got more talent and heart than the greatest musician or cinematographer. Many wouldn't make it through what you have.
2. Never feel ashamed of what you've ever had to do to survive, nor for trying to thrive.
3. As much as it may feel like it, as we're told it is the case, NO you're not your brothers keeper. Mental health takes it's toll and sadly as much as we may love them, we can only barely break a dent of the damage it causes.
4. Keep telling your story, you're making a difference with every episode.
5. Sending you the longest and strongest hug imaginable.
6. Please tell me I'll find your music on spotify.......or wherever to buy it.
