Not for me - but because someone you know, love or care for may need you, but be too afraid to ask for your help. Depression can make you feel (or feel like you want to be) invisible. We’re hiding, we’re trying, and we’re barely surviving - and we need to know we’re not alone.
By sharing my videos, you are helping me connect with those who desperately need a connection. The author Johann Hari named his best-selling book about depression ‘Lost Connections,’ because that’s what depression does - it isolates you. Every new connection brings new hope, and who knows? Sharing my story might be the thing that leads someone to ask for help or even saves their life. You could create that connection, just by clicking ‘share.’

You’re putting you’re all in, and it shows. There is purpose in everything we do, even if it doesn’t make sense straight away. Keep making these videos, because they are fantastic. X

I applaud you as someone who suffers from depression I know how hard it is to acknowledge to ourselves let alone to other people. I realise I’m on a hikoi a journey. Not of my choosing but one I must take. For so long I covered up with a smile & focus

I absolutely in love ❤️ w your videos Johnny honestly!! Once I seen them thru an ad honestly I fell in love because I feel sooo sooo much like you because my mother has the same disease schizophrenia and I have gotten a lot of her stuff as well but never was really tested for that.. But more and more I think 💭 I have it slightly maybe never will know til I go get tested.. I have very very bad and I mean bad PTSD and also very severe severe like bad Depression as well like you and I totally can relate w you on a lot honestly... When someone that has or thinks they have the same as something or someone they should b able to see it like I am w this video because like I said I can relate w you on a lot like not being able to get out of bed 🛌 when you get up in morning because I have an issue and have since I was early teenager and I hated it because affected my 🏫 schooling.., But I still thank the lord above and I will til the day I die but my grandmother 👵🏽 which I would call her MeMaw which means a Mother &Grandmother and that’s exactly wat I called her Johnny basically she raised me all my life and when I was a teen her husband my step grandfather👴🏽!, He helped her as well w me and like I said alrdy I thank the lord and like said will til I die because they both got me thru School🏫, & I even got my High School Diploma!!, & They both got me in and thru College to learn and get a degree 📜 for it!! I took 🤚🏾s On..;& Written✍🏾Test @ Harrisburg for State Boards.., & I passed the 🖐🏾s on test instantly 1st time I took it!!!, but the written one I had an issue and had to retake it a few n times then just gave up so I don’t have my actual cosmetology hair license but I went to college for it so here soon someday I’m going to try and go back to school but I have a 7 year old son that turns 8 year this May coming up and I’ll b 32 here next mth JANUARY!!! But yea I just wanted to say your videos r awesome 👏🏾😎 honestly so keep them coming really!!! I look 👀 forward!!
